Blackberry z10 launches Music App when calls are ended

Just bought a new Z10 and most times when I end a call the phone automatically launches the Music App and I then have to close it down. App launches as soon as I press "End Call". Anyone experienced anything similar? Very frustrating.

Hi mhusni,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
When using the country code included in the phone number field of contacts, you may not be able to see contact names on incoming calls even though the country code is correct.
This KB article may provide more information. "Caller ID does not show associated contact when country code is included in phone number" http://blackberry.com/btsc/KB33685
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Using Voice Over in the ios5 music app, when tapped into an album there is no way to back out of it except by switching off voice over! Help. This is preventing me upgrading the iPad2 to iOS5 for a blind man I work with. Am I missing something or is it a bug?

    Hi lukeshk,
If I understand correctly and you're having trouble accessing the iTunes Store in iOS 7 on your iPad, I would recommend this article of troubleshooting:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store

I'd also suggest running through these:

iOS: Force an app to close

Are you using any accessories with the iPhone, like a  protective case or bluetooth headset? If you ar try testing the iPhone without the accessories.
If that doesn't take care of it, try restoring the iPhone.

  • WDA app not launched with SSO when called from portal

    Hi,
we have configured our systems so that our portal (NW Portal 7.0) is issuing logon tickets and ERP6.0 is receiving them in the backend for single sign-on.
When launching a SAP GUI for Windows transaction (System admin->Support->SAP Application) to test if the SSO is set up correctly, all goes well and I'm able to call e.g. SU01 with logon tickets from the portal.
My problem is that when calling a Web Dynpro for ABAP application in the same backend system from the same portal, I get an error "SSO logon not possible; logon tickets not activated on the server" and need to login manually when starting the application.
When looking at the WDA app URL, I see http://<backend server>.<domain1>.com/... and the portal is sitting on http://<portal server>.<domain2>.com. Could it be a problem if the backend system is in another domain? And if yes, how come the SAP GUI for Windows launch then works (related to an http connection and domain relaxing?)? How to go forward and make it work all right?
    Best regards,
    Mikko

    Hi Navarro,
    Merry Xmas:)
    >>We did the same test with the demo app from you (MS)
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/hh202967(v=vs.105).aspxand it still don't work. (remember to setup
    fast app resume)
Yes, I can reproduce your issue using the official sample.
I think this issue is caused by the mechanism of Fast app resume, please refer to the following reference:
#Fast app resume for Windows Phone 8
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/jj735579(v=vs.105).aspx
    Quote:
With Fast Resume, when an app is resumed, the system creates a new page instance for the target of the launch point and this page is placed on top of the app’s existing backstack.
This official sample can also help us to understand how it works:
    https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/Fast-app-resume-backstack-f16baaa6
We could find that the Application.Launching event will not be triggered if we used Fast app resume, this will affect responding Toast's parameter(Deep Link).

  • Can't play newly copied music in iOS 8 Music app when "Repeat Album" is on

Apologies in advance for inability to accurately describe what's going on, so I took a video of the weird behavior as well:
YouTube video of iOS 8 / iTunes 12 music syncing issue
I am trying to sync my music on my iPhone 6 running iOS 8.1.2 with iTunes 12.0.1.26 via USB / Lightning. Note that the following behavior *only occurs when "Repeat Album" is ON*:
For certain albums (not all – can't find a pattern, but they are always the same albums), the album will appear on my iPhone, but when I go to play any track from the album, it appears that the track cannot be played so it tries to play the next track.
Since no tracks can be played and "Repeat Album" is on, it spirals into a loop without playing any songs until I hit the back button.
When I go back to the album overview view, it appears as if the Music app on my phone is trying to download all the tracks simultaneously.
When I force-quit out of the Music app and re-open it, the problem album no longer appears.
In order to solve the problem, it seems I have to make sure that I play each new album at least once with "Repeat Album" set to off. Otherwise, I have to re-sync with iTunes in order to get my music back on my iPhone. This seems to be occurring frequently enough (and is in general a bug) that I decided to post here.
Please let me know what additional information I can provide to help diagnose the issue.

UPDATE: This behavior (to an extent) still happens when "Repeat Album" is off. Instead of an infinite loop, it goes through all the tracks on the album (unsuccessfully) and kicks me out to the Album overview screen. Going back to list of Albums and tapping the Album again brings up "No Content: You can download music from the iTunes Store" but that screen immediately kicks me back to list of Albums.
So I am just even more confused now.

  • How is it possible that i can play music marked with the cloud icon in the music app when i'm not subscribing to itunes match?

When I'm on the same WiFi network as the computer I sync my iPhone to, I can se a lot of songs in my music app marked with the little cloud icon. And when I leave the network, I can see only the songs with this icon that I have played and therefore probably cached.
Where can I read more about this function and get to know it better?
It seems to work like iTunes Match, only limited to 'local' use. I'm not an iTunes Match subscriber, but I have the 'Show all music' setting enabled.
It's a cool function, both it's a bit annoying that i uses up my available storagecapacity. I keep getting warnings that my storage is almost full.
Does the cached music automatically dissapear since i haven't added it while syncing?

    This feature is called...
    iTunes in the Cloud
It uses no storage on your phone or any in your iCloud storage allocation.

My BlackBerry z10 turnoff automatically when battery reaches 75%..what we do??Pls help

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If it fails, please try it again but increase the wait time in step 4 to 2 hours, and perhaps as long as 3-4 hours. Sometimes this can recalibrate the battery meter.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

  • How to activate Radio in Music app when exiting a cellular/wifi deadzone without closing & restarting the app?

I'm using the iPhone 4s with latest version of iOS 7 as of 10/13/13. I access the Music app on the NYC subway (mostly a cellular/wifi deadzone) for my Playlist, but upon exiting the subway station and obtaining a good cellular signal, I do not see the Radio feature. I literally have to shutdown and restart the Music app in order for the Radio feature to slide out from behind the Playlist feature. Even weirder, the Radio feature remains visible if I place the iPhone on Airplane Mode. Go-figure.

To cut the long story short.. Refer THIS  and THIS
There are a lot of applications available at the MarketPlace which will give you the remaining battery time..but keep in mind that these values are calculated based on the immediate use and are just indicative. (e.g. immediately after playing a game which is draining the battery at a fast rate the battery may show 5 hrs. remaining..but after that you don't use the phone for a long time and the remaining battery may show as 12 hrs..)

  • BlackBerry Z10 - Skype as unwanted default Calling App

    Hi all,
I would like to kindly ask you for help with Skype for Z10.
Current issue is that Skype sets itself as default calling application which I don’t want.
Example: when someone sends me an SMS with phone number and I will click on it, Z10 will automatically open Skype, instead of standard phone application. How can I disable it or repair it, please?
Note: Uninstalling Skype is not a solution what I'm looking for.
    Thanks

This is a problem with the current version if Skype. Signing out if Skype is the only option I'm aware of, aside from units talking it. You can also press and hold a number, then select "call".

Hi, and welcome to the forums.
It sounds like you have both the originals of your music and your Time Machine backups on your Time Capsule.
If so, that's a problem, in several ways.
Please clarify just exactly what is where, and we can help figure out what to do.
