  • Blackberry 8900 not charging

My blackberry 8900 isn't charging. For the last two weeks or so, I have realised that the phone was not holding the charge and at times it would not charge or lose its charge very quickly.
Yesterday the battery was drained and when i tried charging it (with several different chargers-wall, usb and car) nothing happened , even after leaving it to charge for a while(about 30 minutes), not even the LED light came on.
I figured the battery was the problem and so i purchased a new battery. Today the battery was low and so i charged the phone and it wouldnt charge.
The new battery is now dead, and the phone still isn't charging...
    HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

    Hey Pallie76,
This could  be a hardware issue with the USB port and may need to be repaired but first I would suggest to do a clean reload of the BlackBerry® device software as shown here:
How to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry® Device Software for Windows
    http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320
Please test before restoring any data to the BlackBerry® device.
    Thank you.

  • BlackBerry Z10 -- note re operating system and hint for an improvement perhaps

I am not sure this is me or the Z10 operating system [latest update].  I really like the device, by the way, and recommend it highly.  I am a new user, and a bit of a klutz, and I have noticed when I log on to our household wireless with the BlackBerry Z10 I have to give the Cisco Router a password which we have for a guest on our household wireless network.  I do that, and then I press "log in"....
Somewhere in this sequence I get the message on the BlackBerry Z10 "Do you want to log in to the hotspot?" or some such thing and I affirm I do, then the Cisco message comes up from our system...  I think that's the sequence, and I fill in the password and press log in.  Then if I am watching it properly, it takes a little moment or two, I get briefly the message "you are logged into the internet" or something like that, I forget the exact words.  I got confused for the longest while whether I was logged in or not, because the BlackBerry browser indicates the Cisco page to log in with the password when I am already logged in, and the annoying thing is that I am not sure I really am in or not and I forget to go to the browser and fill in the web URL I want, like yahoo.ca...  I wish the programmers at BlackBerry would put a line on there like "you are logged in, enter your website name on the browser search line" or something -- the trouble stems from the fact I have removed my browsing history and the only site up is the Cisco log-in page when I am already logged in -- could this be fixed with a style reno on the browser, to indicate I am logged in, and that I should enter the website I want to see...  other uses may do this differently, I don't know, it's probably just me...   I don't have time to fiddle with the device a lot, I mainly use it for a cellphone, so am not "at it" all the time.
PS:  the use of the term "hotspot" is confusing too, because somewhere I read that if you don't want to connect to one of those little wireless radiating gadgets called a "hotspot" you set that setting to No, and then connect to the wireless network in your area you wish to connect to...  but that's called by you a "hotspot" too, and I find that confusing...   maybe hotspot should be as a term confined to the other gadget, and "wireless network" used for wireless network...   or am I wrong...

    Hi,
there is no such table MTL_ONHAND_DISCREPANCY or synonym in Applications 11.5.10.2. Is that custom table created in your db?
After dropping this table from APPS schema 'Re-create grants and synonyms for APPS schema' went thru fine. Its correct
This table does not exist in INV schema in 11.5.10.2.
Could be possible that the consultant could have created this table in INV and APPS schema by mistake or whatever.Yes, with the same name, there might be table in APPS SCHEMA. When you run recreate grants and synonyms, adadmin tries to create synonym for that table in APPS schema. since there is object available with the same name in apps chema, you got that error.

  • Blackberry z10 not showing any update

my phone is blackberry z10 and my current version is 10.2.1.3247. i searched everywhere in the internet for a update. There is no response for blackberry. I really started hating blackberry. I need a 10.3 update. I found a solution i.e autoloader but while i download autoloader it is showing me error. I reload my phone using link but doesn't shown any update. Is the update for bb z10 released. Somebody please help me ! Please tell me what to do.!

Yes, the Sachesi software and process is unofficial and I've used it many times as well as several friends and of all those, as long as you follow the directions, no problems. A Sachesi OS load mimics an over the air non-destructive upgrade. Won't matter if you use another carrier as long as you use the right captured files by Sachesi. Here are some great instructions: Upgrading BB10 OS Using Sachesi

  • Blackberry Playbook not charging -have two exactly the same and both not connecting to charger...help!!

Bought my two children a playbook each last Christmas. They were fine for the first six months but have had problem after problem with charging and battery life ever since. It has now come to the point that the playbooks haven't been used for the past few months and are sat on the computer desk, unused!! The chargers do not connect-they're plugged in, but the connection doesn't get through. I have also bough numerous other compatible chargers but have had the same problem with them so we now know it is the playbook rather than the charger.
Has anyone else had this problem? HELP!! We don't want to waste the money we spent on two Playbooks only a year ago-I don't think six months use is acceptable from a piece of technology such as this.

    Hello mljackson680,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
If you're receiving the flashing green LED light, it sounds like the BlackBerry PlayBook battery is completely drained.  I suggest plugged the BlackBerry PlayBook into the wall charger for several hours to get a charge again.
Let me know if the issue still persists after charging it after several hours.

  • Blackberry Passport not charging

They basically asked me the usual questions like is your charger good etc. When I told them it was my fault and I just wanted to buy a battery from them, for whatever price they want, they just told me to send it in the shop I bought it from. I live in Belgium and the shop is in the Netherlands, there is no way that is an option...
If I sent it back they will notice the little plastic tab that says only authorized service has dissapeared and charge me some of their wicked 300£ fees or something to put a new battery inside...

I have a SQW100-1 bought atAmazon.com on November 30th 2014. It's been now a week that I left my Passport drain out all battery and plug to its original charger these are the things I have:1. A very short red led blinks once2. The Blackberry written logo appears for about 3-4 seconds3. It shows the red battery icon meaning it's empty and must be pluged to the charger4. Reboots over and over again starts the item 1 to 4. I tried also to change charger, USB cable and even tried plug directly to the computer but nothing changes. So, I decided to gently move and force the USB plugging and unpluging many times and very rare times the red battery icon appears with the bolt in the middle meaning it's charging, but it last for very short period of time and I see a plug icon cut in the middle meaning it's disconnected again from the outlet. I'm pretty sure this is a Hardware issue due my tries to plug/unplug some times changes the results. I'm Blackberry since the first BlackBerry G740 and I have all new devices ever since. I'm using now my Z30 to keep up my work and communications. I tried to fillup the form at https://consumersupport.webapps.blackberry.com/support/form/amazon_en/ for those who have bought from Amazon but I get a popup that according to their records my Passport wasn't bought at Amazon.com. Thanks a lot for your reply.

  • Blackberry Z10 not recognized by Windows 7

Tried every single solution on the forum/web, nothing works.
I noticed that the RIM Network Device didn't install on the Device Manager, trying to update the driver or browsing to local driver installation doesn't work either.
This driver shows as "Insufficient resources exist to complete the requested service".
I do have plenty of free hard drive space, so I have no idea what does this means?

That is for sure the driver issue... I would suggest try this ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45501-46000/sp45556.exe

  • Blackberry Z10 - VPN FritzBox

    MfG Translate with Google:Hello,
I have a VPN connection, for example, from Iphone or Ipad or various Android phone to my home network into an AVM Fritz box
However, with the same SIM card and the same settings using the BlackBerry Z10 not establish connection!
No matter what combination of protocols Gadeway or passwords and so on to choose - with the Z10 I can not connect!
With the Ipad or Android goes wonderfully with the same settings!
When Z10 is always just time out or General Error!?
What am I doing wrong? how accurate are the setting for BlackBerry Z10 to AVM Fritz box!
Have stayed in various forums and searched on Google, but so far no success ...
    Thanks....

    hmm,
AVM released last weeks a new Firmware Update mit small improvements of their xauth VPN. Maybe it work now with BB OS 10.3.x. Iy you have a try use the android settings that recommended from the VPN wizard on AVM Fritzbox.see: http://avm.de/service/downloads/update-news/download/show/16020/ btw. I try a Lancom 1781AW ADSL and a Bintec RS232B Router too - that works very well with BB devices ... If you don´t need VoIP capatibelities of our Fritzbox that is a goos SOHO alternative. ;-) brMike

  • NEW BLACKBERRY Z10 BATTERY WAS NOT FULLY CHARGED

    Hiii Friends
I Have purchased the new Blackberry Z10 One month ago, But its battery was not charged by 100%, it only charged by 94% maxmimum and also drains faster, I have already Turn off Device many time, Remove battery and again start the device, But even though I have face the Problem, Battery was charged at 94% only.
Please Let me know what to do.
    Kalpesh Sonje
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Before taking out the battery, do NOT turn off the device.
Try this: leave it connected to the OEM stock wall outlet charger.
With it connected and powered ON, remove the battery for minute and replace.
Check the percentage and drain over the next day, and do the SAME procedure again.
Remember, the charge percentage is not an exact science, but rather an estimate by the software of the charge, based on the current power, historical drain and charging, etc.

  • Blackberry Z10 does not want to come on!!

My BlackBerry Z10 died and I didn't have the chance to charge is so I left my phone in my bag until I got home from my trip. When charging the phone it started up as normal until the part where it loads, normally when touching the screen it tells you what % it is at but it just kept thinking!! I left my phone like that and still it's doing the same thing. I've taken the battery out for a whole day, still no help!!
What do I do?? Is it the phone inside?? I did not drop the phone, been in my bag like it's always been, hard cover to protect it. I really need help, please!!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If that fails, please redo it all, but increase the wait time in step 4 to 2 hours.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Z10 - voice mails not showing on Hub after software update

I have a BlackBerry Z10 smartphone with Verizon and yesterday I upgraded to the 1.0.4.1 version. Now my voice mails are gone from the Hub and I don't even get notifications whenever somebody leaves me a voice mail. I called Verizon and they were not able to help. Is anybody having this same issue? Can somebody help? Thanks in advance.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I had the same problem as you - including the missing voicemail option to add to the hub.  No amount of battery pulls or re-starts helped.  Here is what worked for me:  Go to Setup and activate Visual Voicemail.  Agree to the $2.99 monthly fee. Wait 5 minutes as directed and then call yourself and leave a voicemail or two.  You will notice the Visual Voicemail icon (and message indicator) now appears in the Hub.  Go back to Setup and deactivate Visual Voicemail.  Your regular voicemail, and test messages, should now remain.  Not sure if you/I will get charged the $2.99 for 10 minutes worth of Visual Voicemail but it will be worth it to get the regular voicemail back.  Hope this helps.  Post back with your results.
