  • Blackberry Z10 became extremely slow after OS update to version 10.3.1.2243

    Hi,
My Blackberry Z10 became extremely slow after OS update to version 10.3.1.2243. For example it sends text message 10-15 seconds after send button has been hit.
Can not answer the phone when a caller is calling (answer slide interface is unrespnsovie), if I want to launch any application screen turns black and nothing happens, etc.
    Does anyone experience similar issues?
    Thank you.
    Michal.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
A quick read of this site will answer your final question quite clearly. The "fix" depends on several factors, but given what you describe I recommend you immediately update, via AutoLoader, to the most recent version (.2582)...some of the prior versions contain some particularly challenging issues, which are reported to be fixed in this version.
Good luck and let us know!

Downloaded games on my Z10 from app world cease to function after a few sessions and cause the rest of the games to stop working. Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?

    Hey sbkeebler81,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    THanks for the question.
What type of applications are you having difficulty with?  If there are 3rd party applications, have you contacted the devlopers for these apps?
I look forward to your reply.
    Cheers.

  • WATCHING SURVEILANCE CAMERAS REMOTELY WITH BLACKBERRY Z10 PHONE

I WATCHED MY FOUR REMOTE CAMERAS WITH MY OLDER BLACKBERRY TORCH USING ASEE SOFTWARE; BUT THE Z10 BLACKBERRY WON'T WORK. I CONTACTED DEFENDER, THE DVR MANUFACTURER, AND TRIED TO CONTACT MEYE, THE SOFTWARE COMPANY, WITH NO RESULTS.
IS THERE OTHER SOFTWARE ANYONE HAS FOUND WHICH I CAN USE WITH THE Z10 WHICH WILL LET ME MONITOR MY CAMERAS REMOTELY?
    THANKS...

If they are accessible via IP then they should be viewable by IP Cam Viewer. I use it and although it IS and Android port it is actually very good.

They should list all of the models currently possible on their website, and the developer is always adding new cameras.. so if you don't see them then drop the dev a line.

  • Blackberry Z10 phone was not turn on

Im using BB Z10 os version 10.3.1 for 7 months, recent days it hangs a lot and it hanged later not turning on and red led has been blinking simultanously.
Iam staying at Hyderabad, India & the authorized service centers are not available & contact phone nos also not valid.
    Please help me out.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If it fails, please try again but increase the step 4 wait time to 2 hours, and perhaps as long as 4-5 hours.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry z10 phone problem

I found out that recently my phone keeps turning off itself automatically and every time it turn off there will be a notification sound right before it. I am unable to turn on the phone anymore unless I plug it in to the charger and let it charge for 5-10 minutes and it will turn on it self. When charging I tried to turn on it but it shows that I am out of battery while my battery is definitely more than 20%. After the phone is turned on I can't find any new notification. And I met another problem too that is after my phone is sent back to be repaired every time my phone get some small impact for example placing it on table or even putting it into my pocket, the phone will either turn off or it restarts. Anyone help me please?
    My os is 10.1.0.4633
    Software release is 10.1.0.4181

Is the official version for 10.2 released? I don't wanna load the leaked version
What is your Operating System loaded to your device? From the main screen, swipe down from the top black bezel to Settings > About... what is the OS Version listed there?
Also, for the restarting issue, try placing a folded piece of paper over the battery (or normal business card) and replace the battery cover) and see if that solves the restarting issue.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Music app error - The file can't be played due to an unexpected error.

Hi, just started to get the error message mentioned in the subject. Can anyone help?
    OS: 10.2.1.3062
    Thx.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
With some of the older OS levels (yes, yours is not the most recent), this error presents, and has been cured or improved in later OS levels. Therefore, the only thing I can recommend is that you update your OS to a level that does not present the problem. I'd advice at least 10.2.2.x, and if you feel adventurous, 10.3.x.x
    Good luck!

  • Blackberry z10 - no messages in business hub

    Hello Community,
I just received my blackberry Z10 phone and I have to say it is very very nice to use.
It´s working threw our company server, and I use the company e-mail on it.
The only big issue I have is that if I´m in the business hub, I do not receive any text messages. I don´t even get a notification that I received a new text message.
This is a big problem because I have to switch to private hub everytime I want to check my text messages, so I cannot react to them. And if I am in private hub I receive the notification and I can check my text messages without any problems, but I dont have my company e-mails on it.
Also if I´m in the business Hub and click on the Text message sign it directs me to my e-mails and not to any text message conversations as it does in the private hub.
Please can somebody help me? Because if I cannot solve this issue it is hard to use this phone because I cannot react either to e-mails or to text messages, so it´s very bad.
Thank you very much and send you greetings from Austria,
    Alexander

  • BlackBerry Z10 - battery drains very quickly even in standby

I have had two Blackberry Z10 phones, and at work the signal is little to none at times and the battery drains and I am not even using the phone. All email accounts and other services have been set to manual update only. A friend of mine had the exact same phone but an AT&T phone mine was Verizon. He had no problem with his in the same office and the same building. Is this a CDMA only problem or a Verizon problem? Love the phones and the way they work but the battery life at work is bad, at home where the signal is 3g and pretty steady I had no probems. I am due for an upgrade in June and am trying to find out if the Z30 for Verizon has the same problem. I have used a windows phone with the same size battery and a bigger screen same location same carrier with more use and no problem.
    Thanks

What Android apps do you have installed?
Try this first off, Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
Watch your device another day and see how it goes.

  • Importing Certificates into Blackberry Z10 Key Store.

Currently, on the development network, we have stood up a BES10 server with a few Blackberry Z10 phones deployed. Using BES10, we are able to push the Root CA certificate for our developmental CA. We are currently unable to import the client's certificates (identity, encryption or signing) in *.p12 or *pfx format onto the device. We have tried numerous methods with limited success. Originally, we emailed a certificate using the work email exchange server and were able to view the certificates on the BB device. We are even able to select "Import certificate," submit the correct password and are presented with a messages stating "Certificate successfully imported." However, looking at the trust store or the S/MIMIE settings, none of the client's certificates are avaliable.
After some research, we followed the steps highlighted in tech support listed at http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/47561/als1342708099072.jsp. After following the instructions on screen, selecting the appropriate certificates to import and presenting the correct PIN, the device attemps to import the certs. The device then states "0/3 certificates succesfully imported" and the process has failed.
Is there a log file avaliable to see what is causing the import to fail or is there an additional step we are missing? Any support would be helpful, thank you in advance.

    Hey Shah_jeet,
Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Are you importing the certificate using a USB connection or using a Wi-Fi connection?
    Thanks.

  • BlackBerry Z10 randomly turning on by itself

    Hello everyone,
I have 2 BlackBerry Z10 phones experiencing a weird issue; randomly, the phones will turn on by themselves when they are powered off. This issue has been happening since 10.2.1, and is still occurring on 10.3.1. I have not noticed any event that would cause this to occur. I will have the phone powered off and then notice all of a sudden that it is turned on and looking at the boot time it could be a time when no one could have turned it on. The fact that this is happening on 2 Z10s is concerning me and I wish to know if this issue has happened to anyone else. Both phones are out of warranty so replacing them is out of the question. I have also factory defaulted both phones in an attempt to resolve this, but to no avail. Mind you the issue is a minor annoyance, I would still like to get to the bottom of this.
    Thanks for any help!

The only suspicion I have is that you have an alarm or a reminder set. I haven't looked at this since my BBOS days, and I don't know if the BB10 OS does the same thing. But should be easy to test. If that isn't it then I don't know.

  • Blackberry Z10 application memory space

The blackberry Z10 comes with 11.3GB of usable internal memory storage. Can anyone who actually has the blackberry Z10 phone tell me how much of this is allocated specifically to application memory?

11.3GB. Storage is storage. it doesn't differentiate. It will be less if you have tons of videos and what not
