i changed my sim on my iPhone n reconfigured iMessage, it configured with my number but when i sign in with my apple id it says username/password is wrong while in all other things like FaceTime, App Store it worked with the same id and password..

It said "incorrect".. I went to reset password. I reset password, tried to sign in and it says again "unvalid password".. this is getting irritating. I have been asking and no one knows what to do. -
My Iphone 5s shows "No Service" in the specific network area, but if the same sim card is used with other mobiles in the same network area, it shows good network.. i did restore,change sim card, reset all the settings but still not working... please help me..

I can't make or receive calls in my iPhone 5(just bought second hand and unlocked), but I am able to use 3G network. If I use the same SIM card in other phone it works fine. I have tried network resetting and restore.
I bought this cheap from an unknown persons. I have checked it is not in blacklist. And unlocked by apple.Those are all carrier features, so contact your cell phone provider.

Toggle Airplane mode On and Off.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Restore the iPhone.

Can I switch back and forth the same sim card between an old iPhone 4 and a new one never used in order to activate the latter? Should I use same Apple Account? Should I activate it via WiFi or iTunes? I am filtering on the MAC no and I cannot read that number from the new iPhone without having it activated??!!
All I want do is to have the new phone activated and then tested!

I traded my iphone in and now have a new one (iPhone 5) with the same SIM. Since, I have had some iMessages meant for someone else and some strange things happening on my phone (applications opening by themselves, calls disappearing from log). Any ideas?
The answer is very simple: You were not the original owner of the phone. Target sold you a phone that had been returned. You can verify the date of the original sale here: Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage. I suspect you will find that the warranty expiration date is not one year from the date that you bought it.

Many of the times my Iphone 3G 16GB shows "No Service" in the specific network area, but if the same sim card is used with other mobile handset in the same network area its shows full network, Is this a Iphone 3G Handset problem or is it a problem with network service provider for iphone in india with Airtel.
Try to reset Network setting thru (Setting/General/Reset/Reset Network Setting - after clicking on it the phone will ask to reboot)
According to my R&D I have experienced that one must reset the network each time when we r at home or in office or other places, the phone after resetting the network setting acquires the area specific network setting n works well, try it & if any other solution do let me known
Calling up customer care did not help me, they do keep us in a loop with the same old answeres that “Our technical team is working on it & WILL GET BACK TO u” leaving us with no solution at the end

Can't copy contacts from device to SIM on Blackberry Z10

I'm trying to copy the contacts from device Blackberry Z10 to a sim-card, I go to the Contacts in menu, click "Copy contacts from your device to a sim-card", the phone displays "some information about the contact will not be copied to the sim-card," I go to the call, Contacts (on SIM), as seen nothing to copy, as it was a couple of contacts and left. Tell me, are there any other ways to copy the contacts from your device to SIM?

But most BB OS 10 functionality is still Alpha quality, not fully working, even core apps like Text messaging don't really work acceptably well for a production device.

After restoring iPhone 4, iTunes is telling me that my SIM card is not supported. It is the same SIM I have always used with this phone. What action can I take to convince phone that the SIM card is OK?
Hello again, update time.
Finally got to speak to a senior technical advisor at Apple today who was most confused until he back-tracked and double checked all the basics. He then realised that the actual serial number of my original phone (from the proof of purchase I sent him) was different to the one that they had recorded when they made the swap. I think he said it was out by one character and was actually showing as a mobile connected to AT&T (from the States). He said that the replacement phone was then set-up as per the serial number they had typoed into their system as locked to AT&T. The genius who did the swap at Apple Doncaster must have placed an unlock on it at the time in order for my 3 SIM to work at all. Therefore when I restored it, it returned to the settings of the incorrect original phone serial number!
So... Apple tech advisor said he can rectify the records and re-set the factory setting to an Australian iPhone on the 3 network within 12-24 hours. Fingers crossed all is good by tomorrow afternoon.
Thanks for your suggestions though, I had been trying everything to get it to work as I'm sure you know how hard they are to live without once you've got used to living with one!

I just bought a Blackberry Z10, secondhand from people I met from Internet
The Blackberry is still kinda new, used only for a month. And I got it pretty much cheaper
But the problem is, this Z10 can't detect sim card (yes the previous owner been telling about this before. She said its happened after she's upgrading the software)
So, I bought it, and re-installed the software (10,2 - 10,3 - even back to 10,1) still not working.
I'm trying to search the similar issues on Google, and found that it possibly because the simcard reader is broken
I check the simcard reader, I'm not really sure, but yes, seems there one pins missing on there. I saw only 3 pins on my Z10 simcard reader. Haven't seen any other Z10. Would you mind to check your Z10? How many pins on there?
And also, does the warranty will cover this issues if I claim it? I mean, it seems because human-error (previous owner might put the sim card not really carefully).
If not, how much it cost to fix it and change the simcard reader part? Well think I'm not gonna gambling anymore to buy a cheap gadget in the hope I can't fix it by myself

AVM released last weeks a new Firmware Update mit small improvements of their xauth VPN. Maybe it work now with BB OS 10.3.x. Iy you have a try use the android settings that recommended from the VPN wizard on AVM Fritzbox.see: http://avm.de/service/downloads/update-news/download/show/16020/ btw. I try a Lancom 1781AW ADSL and a Bintec RS232B Router too - that works very well with BB devices ... If you don´t need VoIP capatibelities of our Fritzbox that is a goos SOHO alternative. ;-) brMike -
When available in Australia my husband and I are looking at buying the new iPhone 4S and doing a bit of a shuffle with the Sim Cards. He has a Samsung Ultra Touch (what a nightmare!) and will be taking over my iPhone 3GS, whereas lucky me will be getting the new iPhone 4S. Will it be possible to change the Sims of the iPhone 3GS and the new iPhone 4S. The Samsung Ultra has the same size Sim as the 3GS so no problems there. Any advice on how to transfer either the card or the data from the 3GS to the 4S would be greatly appreciated.
Your carrier will be perfectly happy to get you a new sim for your phone. As for your info, sync and back up your information on the 3GS and then simply restore to your 4S when you activate it. (or later)
