Blackberry Z10 saving and uploading issue

I got my blackberry a week ago, and I haven't been able to save files from the browser. When I click save, it doesn't do anything. I can't upload files to facebook or bbm straight from in the app either, I have to share them. I can only save images straight from the facebook app, and if I try to save while in the browser, nothing happens. This also happens when I'm trying to save other files such as applications.
Any help would be appreciated

If its a genuine Blackberry battery and charger, get a replacement, if its a generic then get your money back.

BlackBerry Z10, so many frustrating issues

I have been using my Blackberry Z10 for 4 months. I still have so many issues that don't work like I would like, and I know if there is something that can fix them. There is a list, for sure there are more that I don't remember right now.
Battery: it never arrives to low charge before turning off. Close to 35-30% it goes to sleep. I tried some of the solutions I´ve read (full charge after taking out battery, reset, etc) but nothing worked.
Two times blocked: Since last OS update, I unlock the phone with my key and some seconds later another screen asks me to put the key again. It doesn't happen always, but very frequently.
GPS and tracking: I downloaded every app for tracking gps, like Endomondo, Runkeeper, etc, and no one works. It is always "searching for satellites". Sometimes, in an hour, it gets the satellites for e few seconds. I downloaded GPS Status, as mentioned in other forums, and it works. But not the other apps.
Transferring files: When I connect it to the computer and want to transfer files from internal memory or the microSD card, it looses connectivity while transferring. I have to move files to the SDcard, then take it out and transfer them in the SDcard reader in the computer.
Music stops while playing: very frequently music makes very little pauses during the play. I hate that when I play music. I kill all the tasks, so the only thing running is the Music, but it is not solved.
Wrong words learned: when you make a mistake and type wrongly a word, it remembers it and suggest it up to the end. For example: it seems I once wrote "Germn" instead of "Germán". So I type G+e and it suggest me "Germn", then I type the r, and continues suggesting "Germn". I hate that.
Automatic message in the mail account: I must turn off the Automatic message "Sent from my smartphone..." every few hours. It goes back to on and put that message again...
Any idea of possible solutions?

If you had one or two issues, I'd suggest tackling them individually but because you're experiencing issues at this level, your OS should be looked at.
What OS are you currently running? To find this out, swipe down and select Settings>(Category - OS) and give us the OS version.

Z10 Volume and Notification Issue

Hi,
I am facing frequent no volume and notification issue on my Z10. once i restart the phone it is getting resolved but this is really irritating as i have to do this restart process atleast 10 to 15 times a day as the problem is occuring frequently. definitely it is a software issue not an hardware issue please help me in resolving the bug...

Blackberry Z10 USB Mass Storage issues

My Blackberry Z10 doesnt show up on my PC as a Mass Storage Device, and if I go into the settings on the phone the setting to turn it on only applies to the SD card. I have Blackberry Link on my PC installed, but putting movies and videos onto the Z10 this way is so much harder than simply dragging and dropping if it simply popped up as a drive on my laptop. Ive read the manual online and seen that my Z10 should pop up as a Drive on my computer, one drive for SD card and one for the main storage, so where am i going wrong, why cant i find this drive on my computer. One point to note was that before i installed Blackberry link, the first time i plugged the phone into my laptop it popped up as a drive on my laptop with links to download Blackberry, but i dont think it was the real drive, now i cant get the drive anywhere, it doesnt come up when i plug the phone in or if i click computer it isnt in the list of drives. HELP would be much appreicated! Thanks

Blackberry z10 hangs and restarts a lot

OS: Blackberry OS 10Model Z10
Model Number: STL100-3
Software Release: 10.1.0.273
I have also tried 10.1.0.1880 all problems remain same.
I am new user to the blackberry family.
I was very exited to use Blackberry Z10 but there are many small bugs in the phone.
I thought that they will get fixed after update but last night i updated phone with 10.1.0.273 but majority of bugs remain same with my case.
List of bugs.
Phone automatically restarts - High Issue
while i am typing message it hangs up suddenly and restarts automatically.
Phone heats up with out any operations and restarts.
Phone is having very less battery running time. ( this can be resolved by my self by changing the battery with high power battery. )
Please acknowledge me once you check this message.
Share me link if there is any portal / community is there which keeps update about the Z10 updates which are on going so that i can update my OS accordingly.

The rebooting issue is a known issue. 10.1.0.2342 was rumored to have fixed it but I haven't heard for sure what the consensus is.
When the phone heats up and battery takes a hit it usually means something is running in the background. Download an app called "Advanced App Manager" and run that and see if there any applications running that you can kill.

Blackberry Z10 when I upload songs to my SD card a lot of the songs are missing.

Hi, I bought a Class 6 64GB SD Card, and I have Blackberry Z10 STL100-2 Black with the version 10.2.1.2102. My problem it have 1304 songs to put on my SD card and when I do and over half the song doesn't appear and if they do some are broken. I have tried everything and all my songs are mp3 files and it all works on my Blackberry Curve 9300.
Please help SONG IS WHAT KEEPS ME ALIVE!!!

For MP3s, like GhostFX said, basically any class of memory card will do it.

Blackberry z10 hanging and battery problems

I have a blackberry z10, STL 100-1, after like 4 weeks of using it, i realised that the battery drained quickly so decided to do a security wipe. thats where my problems started. The battery heats up and the phone goes off or rather hangs then goes off. to switch it back on, i have to put it on charger, which it shows battery completely empty even if its full, after a few mins charge the phone works again. This problem occurs usually say when im browsing the a text or whatsapp message is received. any help? oh. and ive tried security wipe like 10 times, problem still not solved

What is happening is that your on-device battery meter is off-sync with the actual battery charge.
Connect to your OEM wall outlet battery charger and while still connected and powered on, remove the battery a minute to reboot. After reboot leave to fully charge to 100%.
Thus will reset the false charge reading. You may need to do perform this procedure 2-3 times.

Blackberry Z10 DUN and Mercedes Comand Online

Hi community,
I own a BB Z10. I bought it because my iPhone doesn´t support DUN for my Mercedes Comand Online.
Yesterday I paired my BB with the Comand Online. But when I try to use the Online features it tells my " phone doesn´t support mobile network".
But I bought the Z10 only because of that DUN bluetooth function.
Any ideas?

Since Blackberry Z10 is the newest blackberry phone are you sure the Mercedes Comand online support the z10?
I think you may have to give mercedes benz a call if they support Z10 blackberry

Blackberry Z10 latest software update issues

I have just installed the latest upgrade, and since then, my Z10 randomly switches itself off and on.
it does when idle and when in the middle of using it, not very convenient!
Has anyone else had the same issue?
Please check and sort asap Blackberry.

Z10 SMS and Email Issue

After I upgraded to 10.2, my phone kept telling me that my SMS is full and that I can't receive messages. I read in one of the discussions that this is an ongoing issue. My other problem is this: Google mail is being rejected by the phone. It keeps telling me that it isn't a trusted site, something to that effect. What should I do? Any help/insight would be much appreciated. Thanks!

BlackBerry Z10 Exchange Active Sync Issues

Hello all! I am on my 4th BlackBerry device in exactly one year. I have stopped asking for a new phone as I believe it may be software related as the issue continues no matter what. I will put my Exchange account on my phone, change nothing else, ask it to sync only 7 days of email and I get nothing but a screen full of dates listed one after the other. It may be hours before I get an email on it and then once that happens, I may or may not continue to sync email. If that doesn't work, I have to delete my email account, restart my phone, add it back, restart my phone and try again. If THAT doesn't work, I have to completely wipe my phone. It is beyond aggravating. Anyone else know about this issue? It shows that I am on the latest release too. I've tried everything....What am I missing?

Please see this link! It was AMAZINGLY helpful! I had originally thought that my phones issues were software related since I had 4 phones and they each had the same exact issue. I upgraded my software version via this guys post and it worked. My phone is lighting fast, hasn't had one issue, has lots of updated features and I'm just so excited to not have to give up my BlackBerry for another phone type. AT&T really needs to push this out to their BlackBerry customers!

Saving and exporting issue, in AI trial. Error messages. PS is fine.

I just installed the trial version of AI and PS today.
Illustrator: I can open files and work on them just fine. I cannot export or save. I receive, "The file could not be written due to an error." when exporting, and, "An uknown error has occurred." when I try to save.
PS exports and saves just fine.
PC specs are well w/in recommendations.
Please help. I plan to purchase the SW next week, but not if I can't get it to work!

You may try the following (you may have tried/done some of them already) and see whether it helps (the following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file; 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences):
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

Saving and Workspace issues

I'm new to using a Mac. Last week I bought an iMac and installed the trail version of CS5. Prior to that I worked with CS4 on a PC.
My default screen mode is transparent. I find this distracting to see Bridge or some other app in the background of the workspace. If I select "full screen with menu bar" from the View/Screen Mode option I loose the tabs. As well, this option is not saved when you create a new Workspace. How can I create a workspace that is similar to the default CS4 on a PC? BTW how do you delete Workspaces you have created?
Also, when I attempt to save a image, the "save as" window opens but the "where" pull down tab will only let me select the storage location eg Computer, Macintosh HD, external HD etc. I can not open these locations to select a folder.
I suspect that these problems maybe related to my lack of familiarity with the Mac OS.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Saving and other issues

For whatever reason, it seems like every application on my 10.5.5 macbook is having trouble saving. For example, itunes give me and error about not being able to autosave the library, final cut can't render sometimes saving there is already a file with this name, It gives me the same error when I try and export sometimes. My mail program is acting crazy too. It only updates my mail when it first loads then after that its just stuck and won't update until i restart it ( i have to force quit it) Oh yea and I can't unarchive cause I get an error about that and when I try and install applications it says it can't write to the applications folder and the installation fails.

Check the console logs (console.app in utilities folder) for errors, etc.

In Settings > Language and Input, are your language and region set correctly?
