Hi niks1897
Your battery show false percentage. To correct it, reboot your device. When it's On, connect to the wall charger and remove the battery. Leave it for 20 minutes and keep it charging. This reboot will correct some programs/apps error and incorrect battery meter. You may need to do this reboot within next 1 or 2 days or when the same symptom show up.
Good luck.

my blackberry z10 is turning off automatically every day 1-2 times, i have also factory reset it still the problem is same.what should i do?????

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

  • !!!My New Z10 turned off and Is NOT turning back on!!! URGENT

My Blackberry Z10 turned off today, and when I try to turn it back on the red led light stays on for 2 minutes and turns off but nothing else happens.
I tried doing a hard reset using the keys, i tried plugging into computer and connecting to BlackBerry Link and still nothing. I don't know what to do other than returning it.
Developer: I am a developer and have a dev alpha, i have downloaded the autoloader to make updates to my dev alpha. I am wondering if it would be safe to connect my Z10 to my computer and run the autoloader. I know the dev alpha's don't have the latest update for BlackBerry 10, so I am wondering if I did this will I also not have the latest update. Or, after installing the AutoLoader can I use software updater to get the latest OS?
Can someone help me quick, I have meetings today and need to be able to communicate with people.

It's new enough that I would contact Bell and see about a replacement. It's possible the software can be reloaded but it may have a problem.

Fold a small piece of paper and wedge it along the top edge of the battery (the top, opposite the end with the contacts). See the image below where the red arrows are.
Try that a few days and see if the restarting persists.

  • My BlackBerry z10 goes off at 70%

This started after I upgraded the phones OS to 10.1.02354, the phone goes off on its on @ 70%. I'm frustrated, please help.

    Hello
Issue came first in the z10 model stl 100 1 when the last release of 10.0 was updated and throughout the 10.1 this issue is present in z10 stl100 1 model. in 10.2 leak although this issue is resolved as now i am using it ....
basically what this error is  " your device battery meter goes off sync with the actual battery meter therefore your mobile gives different percentages for the differect battery level " as you said that z10 turning of at 70 % at this time your battery actually is fully discharged but your mobile goes from 100 to 70 % but your battery goes from 100 to 0 % . and when you charge again your mobile starts from 70 % and your battery from 0 %. am i correct ?
there are many things that you can do to correct it this off sync
    1. charge your mobile and then with your mobile connect to OEM charger ,  remove the battery for 1 mint then reinsert it .. do it 2 times a day for fews day it will correct your device meter ... but it do not work for all
    2. second as you said at 70 % your mobile goes off and you probably think there is a lot of battery but actually there is not .... mobile flash do not work when the battery voltage is below 3.4 v.... so to check it at 70 % open your camera and on the flash and try to capture the pic many time when your battery goes below 3.4 v you will notice flash is not working anymore ... at this time your mobile giving you false % .... to see it when your mobile goes off pul out the battery for 1 hour and then place the battery in then press power button for 3 sec then leave then for 5 sec then leave then for more than 1 mint then leave now plug the charger and do not press the power button you will notice your mobile start charging and after a while it will start and you will see mobile will be giving the actual % 10 or 20 and charging to 100 % ...
Note: do this when your mobile goes off ..
do update me with your feedback

  • Blackberry 9720 turns off

Hi i have a Blackberry 9270 less than 10 months old and it keeps turning off, must do it about 8 times a day, when it re boots it tells me that the battery is too low for radio use and the device is shutting down. This will happen over and over unless i remove the batter and turn it back on then it is ok for a while until i plug it back in. However the battery is not really flat.

However the battery is not really flat.  Clarify the phrase I highlighted.   Are you saying plugging the device in to charge triggers the rebooting problem?   You probably mean something else, but I can't figure it out.   The possibilities are hardware problem with the device, software problem, or battery.   If you can borrow a battery that you know is good, that is the easiest and preferable course of action.  If you still have the issue with a known good battery, then you will need to rule out software.   If the good battery is the fix, then get a new battery.

  • Z10 turned off and wont turn back on

I don't understand "plugging out" in your post.
If connect this device to the OEM charger, and while still connected, remove the battery for FIVE minutes, replace the battery, what happens? Do you see any onscreen or LED activity?

  • Blackberry Radio Turns Off For No Apparent Reason

Lately my radio function turns off and I have no idea why.  I turn it back on and it stays on for hours or days - then shuts off again.  Any ideas?

This has happened to me a couple of times as well.  I'm not sure if it's due to the battery or not.  I can tell you, though, that it doesn't come back on if the battery charges.  I can understand, to a point, if the antenna were to turn itself off automatically to preserve batter power, but you would think it could turn itself back on if the battery were charged.  A couple of times, I haven't actually noticed that it was off until I tried to send an SMS or something.  I found out, once, that it had been off for over a day and a half and I would have definitely charged it during that period.  So if it's the battery, it's a "one way" deal.  But, to be honest, neither (battery going low / antenna shutting off) happens enough for me to really say for certain.
Of course, in my situation, I merely turned it back on via the control icon; no need to pop the battery.  We've had a few users, here at work, who've had situations like that.  Not so much popping the battery, but having to do a full power off and power on.  Of course, they weren't 8700s...

  • Blackberry keeps turning off! UGH HELP

My blackberry has been doing great for a year, but 2 weeks, I would fully charge it all night, and then it would shut off after about 2 hours, even if I didn't use it and I would have to put it in the charger for it to work again. Now, it's shutting off after FIFTEEN MINUTES of using it, and when I put it in the charger and it goes through the whole 3 minute restart, the battery says it's full, and again keeps closing after 15 minutes. I haven't download any new apps or anything, so can anyone PLEASE help?

    Hey Daliadalia,
Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
I would suggest to do a clean reload of the BlackBerry® device software as shown here:
How to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry® Device Software for Windows
    http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320
If the issue still persists after the clean software reload, further investigation might be required. To help further diagnose the cause, contact your wireless service provider or BlackBerry® Technical Support Services for further review and support.
    Thank you.

  • Reg : Blackberry Z10 switched OFF

Hi I got my blackberry mobile in Amazon at last month, I am facing the problem that the battery is having 20% of charge eventhough my phone is gng to sitched OFF for some time

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):

    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If that does not cure it, then do the process again, but this time increase the wait on step 4 to 2 hours, and perhaps as long a 4-5 hours.
• Blackberry Tour turning off over and over

My blackberry tour starting rebooting itself over and over on Sunday.  Since then I have had the phone replaced and it is still rebooting itself.  When it comes back on the battery is drained.  What can I do?
    Thanks

Step 1 – Complete a soft reset. Instructions below:
-Pull the battery out of the device (pulling the battery while the device is on or off does not matter)
-Leave it out for 2 ½ minutes.
    -Place the battery back in
Step 2 –Try to load a backup file. (Blackberry desktop manager is needed).

    Step 3 – Complete a clean install.
