Curious how long we will wait for Verizon to send out newest release as
show in title. 2102 (2141) has been out for days for some carriers.

I have it, but no idea what was in it.
I appreciate the updates, but it is really irritating to not have any documentation of what was fixed and what is new.
Anybody know?

Scrolling bug in the newest release?

I changed my lib to the newest release (455) and suddenly all upwards scrolling stopped working. Scrolling vertically downwards works, but upwards doesn't.
To scroll I use the
_controller.verticalScrollPosition
After I discovered that bug I changed it back to 452 and it worked again.
Is this a bug?

Yes - there was a bug fixed just after 455 was built.

How do I get the newest release of Adobe Text Pro?

Adobe Text Pro was included in our purchase of Adobe Acrobat, but it is version 1.015. How do I upgrade it to the newest release?

Current version is 1.114 which was created 2012/06/15 (or 1.115 for the entire family, which was created 2012/06/15). Here's info on the font:

Upgrade of jHeadstart 10.1.3.2.53 to newest release

We are planning a upgrade of jDeveloper/ADF 10.1.3.5.0.4306 to latest
version. In this process we need to upgrade jHeadstart as well.
We would appreciate some feedback to how much time such an upgrade will
require. As every project is different we would be happy to get some
general description of the upgrade process and estimated time for each
step.
A link to the releasenotes and installation guide would be appreciated
as well.

I did an upgrade from JHS 10.1.3 to 11.1.1.4 about a year ago. Release notes are included with the JHS install and upgrade steps are included in the release notes.
Time commitment for the upgrade is going to depend on how extensively you've customized the JHS templates, or customized the application outside of JHS. Because of the changes in ADF Faces components between 10 and 11, JHS will regenerate your viewcontroller project from scratch (after upgrading your existing JHS definition) and then you have to re-apply any template customizations to the new templates.
One nice thing is that, in 11g, a lot of things that you used to have to do via customizations are now handled by JHS, or by the updated ADF components, so I was able to throw away many of the custom templates I had used in 10g.
So if your viewcontroller is pure JHS (no customizations) the upgrade is pretty clean.

I just upgraded to the newest release, but now when I move/save a message, auto-completion to potential folders no longer works. What happened?

When I begin typing the letters for the destination folder, before it would show a list of the targets matching so far and I was able to click on one to select it. Now I just get a generic text entry box with no intermediate feedback. I do use the add-ons muttkeys and keyconfig, but I didn't think this would affect things.

I wonder if you had another add-on. I use [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/quick-folder-move/ Quick Folder Move] which does something similar to what you describe.

Can't edit playlists that are in a subfolder - newest release

Since applying 8.1.1 - I can no longer edit a playlist that is in a subfolder. I use playlists extensively, really not fun .

Settings in Newest Release

I believe that the System portion of Settings has a bug as it displays nothing when it is clicked. This may be related to the problem I have when I shut down and receive notice that there is a problem with some part of the system, which I then check "Ok"
and the machine shuts down.

Why is it taking so long for me to update/download to the newest release of iTunes?

I have tried restarting my computer several times, and whenever I click to update my software, it says that it is going to take over 2,000 hours. What am I doing wrong? I am not very computer/Apple savy.

You might have a slow connection, that's an awful lot of time.

Are "New Releases" really the newest?

I am learning more about Apple TV but one thing I don't get is if I can rent the Newest releases the day they come out(which is every Tuesday where i live). I want to be able to rent movies like I could at Blockbuster. I am looking at the movie store in iTunes and only see movies that are weeks and months old already as "new releases". So what's the deal? Thanks.

Yeah, i gathered the same thing for the keynote... It sounds like by the end of February they are hoping to have new releases on the day they release.... again, i am just guessing this but thats what i gathered...
I hope they keep a good library for rental though, because this is the sole reason i purchased an appletv... movie rentals only.. ehh, if it fails netflix has their box coming at the end of 08, or i can just break down and get Tivo which cost like 12/month but i can rent movies from amazon for $2.50 on my tivo....
I have faith in Apple though, thats why im going to be an early adopter of this itunes rental.. If amazon can have new releases on tuesday for tivo, then i am sure once apple gets their service up they will be able too also... even if they don't, appletv still replaces dish networks crappy pay-per-view so i think im going to be happy with my appletv purchase for years to come

IDOC Segement Release vs IDOC Basic Type

Hi there,
we are in an upgrade project and are runing into a general question about idoc creation.
Here is our behavior:
1. We have an reduced IDOC Type in BD53 ZMATMAS based on Messagetype MATMASDI.
2. It has 2 Segements E1MARAM with fields MSGFN MATNR PSTAT and Subsegemnt E1MAKTM with fields MSGFN SPRAS MAKTX.
3. Done the things around (RFC, Partner Profile, distribution model, changepointer ..)
4. In Distribution Model in outbound parameters, added our ZMATMAS.
As parameters we have: Partner type: LS, Message Type: ZMATMAS, Basic Type MATMAS03! and Seg. release in IDOC Type 46B. The Partnersystem is an NoneSAP System.
We are using MATMAS03 because this interface exists since 46B.
Now we send an Material with BD10 and Message Type ZMATMAS.
The Master and Commuidoc are successfull created. In BD87 the commuidoc is an MATMAS03 and has the expected 2 segements E1MARAM and E1MAKTM.
But what we do not expect, if we look into the content of E1MARAM there are ALL Fields which exist for the E1MARAM in release 7.00. Not only our 3 fields MSGFN MATNR PSTAT, or as we second expect only the segemnts that had existed in the segemnt E1MARAM in release 46B of MATMAS03.
The additional fields were filled with the NODATA sign.
My question is: Is it correct that an IDOC with basic type MATMAS03 can have an segement E1MARAM which is formated like the segemntdefinition E2MARAM007 (Release 7.00 / 6.03)?
The difference is definatly the length of the field! 876 in 7.0 vs 757 in 4.6A.
Why is SAP using the highest available segemnt release regardles which basic type we choose?
Isnt this wrong?
Additional infos:
We know that it is not possible to have an IDOC with basic type MATMAS03 with an segement e.g. E1MARA1 which only exists in newer basic type MATMADI if segemnt release is set to 46B in our distribution model.
Failure is: Segment E1MARA1 is unknown in Release 46B/ (correct and expected behavior)
If we are using this scenario with not an reduced message type, we will only find the fields in E1MARAM which are filled with data. (Not all fields of the latest release with nodata)
I traced the MASTER_IDOC_CREATE_MATMAS and hit the function IDOC_REDUCTION_FIELD_REDUCE. As you can see in it, it first checks if the idoc is an reduced message type, and at the end, fills up all fields with the "empty_symbol" which have no data in it. Why is this only happening if it is an reduced message type?

In WE21 at the TRFC Port, it is possible to set this Option:
Send Only Fields of Selected Segment Version
The segment data of the IDoc is passed to this port with the length matching the segment definition of the release specified in the partner profile.
But if we are using an reduced message type, all fields of the newest release are in the segement.
The docu tells that this will be done in function EDI_DOCUMENT_OPEN_FOR_CREATE.
But it is never called when createing an material IDOC with BD10.

Can Portal 6.0 SP2 upgrade to EP 2004 with R/3 base release stay at 4.6C ?

Hi, portal experts,
We have EP 6.0 SP2 working well with R/3 base release at 4.6C. Now we
are wondering whether we can upgrade EP 6.0 SP2 alone. In other words, can we
leave R/3 as it is (4.6C), and upgrade only EP 6.0 SP 2 to EP 2004 ?
In general, can portal upgrade be totally independent of R/3 or BW ?
I think so. But I need proof from SAP docs or notes. Could you give some insights ?
Critically, could you list SAP URL and official docs to support your arguments ?

the official place for you to look at is the <a href="http://service.sap.com/pam">"Product Availability Matrix" (PAM)</a> or some notes which are hidden somewhere in the huge attic of SAP notes
Generally there are no dependecies between R/3, BW and EP.
For your R/3 4.6C there are no dependecies in any way.
As long as you "only" integrate web frontends (like WebGui or BSPs) you can have whatever you want versions. But when it comes to the newest releases some of the features like e.g. BW's broadcasting are only supported when BI and EP are both version 7.0!
