Hey j84girl,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for the question.
Since you reloaded the device software and the issue is still on-going, I would suggest contacting your network service provider for repair options as this could be hardware related.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Cheers.

  • How do I get my built-in speakers to work again

I recently had my built-in speakers stop working less than a year after purchasing my MacBook Pro 15".  About 24hrs ago, my built-in speakers were working fine.  At some point, I was using my bose headphones, and after I unplugged them, my speakers did not work.  I've confirmed that the sound is not muted.  I have sound visible on the desktop bar, but it is grayed out.  I looked on my system preferences for audio output, and my speakers are not listed as an option.  Only optical digital-out is an option besides my Apple TV.

Have you tried a PRAM reset?

If you look in the audio output port, is there a red light showing.  If so, the internal switch is stuck..  Insert the headphones a few times, jiggle a toothpick inside or shot some compressed air to trip the switch.  If no success, have the Apple store genius bar technician do it.
    Ciao.

  • Built-in speakers not working

    Please help;
Built-in speakers not working after using audio port to run remote speakers.
I tried using the FAQ in iTunes to solve problem. Built-in speakers will not play sound.
Under system prefs., sound, the device shows; Digital Out under port; Built-in Output
    Under settings for the selected device;
The selected device has no outpt controls.
When I adjust volume the sound level meter shows level on high but cancelled out (circle w/ slash).
I notice RED LIGHT from inside sound port. Sound works when headphone are plugged in but not external speakers.
    thank you for any advise.

  • Ipod touch built-in speakers wont work anymore. please help

Like I said my ipod touch built in speakers wont work now yesterday I was able to hear and use them when I was using the pianist app from the itunes store and it worked fine and today I redownloaded the digidrummer lite app since my old one for some reason didnt work and once I did download the app I synced to my ipod and tried to play and noticed that no sound came out so I tried other apps and also my music and also no sound. with headphones connected it works fine sound comes out and all.

K, so last night I tried the home+sleep/wake button hold thing and reset it that way and also just normal shutoffs which didnt fix it and also tried the ideas that you guys said and no go. everynow and then it would make the sound when I unlock it. so i just left it on and let the battery die see if that would do something it got to 10% and shuts off i guess so then i charged it on my stereo system with an ipod dock and was listening to music then i disconected it and to my suprise it started playing through the internal speakers again. I was skeptical at first so I turned it off and tried again it worked. so i went to the app that I think caused the problem in the first place called digidrummer lite I was able to hear the drums tom toms etc went to the home menu tried again played that app once more but this time there was no sound. I went to my music and everynow and then it would play but fade out or not play at all. so I took digidrummer off and so far the speakers are working again but I will still need to test them more.

Well, first of all, use correct forms of communication or you may experience the cold shoulder brushoff.
Did you try plugging in and out a few times in the suspected port with a headphone/speaker jack? Sometimes a bit of electrical resistance does not allow for the internal contacts to close, thus muting your speakers.
If there is a damaged port, whatever part it is may need replaced. In the front is a circuit board and off the side is your logic board. Either is pricy to replace, should you demand internal speakers to work. Otherwise you may have to go with external sources like speakers and headphones. OR something like an iMic and connect either headphones or external speakers into should you not repair the computer.
Here is the link to the iMic

  • Help- Mac Book Pro built in speakers wont work.

Hi. I just turned on my Macbook Pro today and found something funny. My internal speakers will not work and when i try to use the volume keys the display comes up for volume but it has the do not enter icon. i plugged my headphones in to see if it worked and it did. i also noticed that there is a red light coming from my headphone jack when the headphones are not in it. Does anyone know how to get my speakers working again?? I looked at the help files and it says to make sure that internal speakers is checked in the : system preferences->sound->output. but all there is to check is: digital out.
Please help. Thank you very much

Check to make sure that digital out is NOT selected - your headphone port is also a optical digital audio port - hence the red light.
When you plug in headphones, your computer knows that there are headphones attached and routes the audio accordingly, allowing you to use the built in volume controls. When the audio out port is set to Digital Out, your MBP thinks that there is some other digital device plugged in (with its own volume controls) and so disables the MBP's internal volume controls and internal speakers.
If you have checked that Digital Out is not selected, you may want to try a permissions repair, and possibly a PRAM reset (Hold  + Alt + P + R when you restart your MBP - before the grey screen).
Someone with more experience of optical ports may have another solution - obviously there isn't anything stuck in the port, so it must be a software issue.

  • Built in microphone doesnt work

My built in microphone doesn't work. Any tips to fix it? My webcam is also broken so I bought a USB one but that's not picking up sound.

Is the built-in microphone listed as an input device in the Sound preference pane or in the Skype preferences dialog?
If it isn't, there's a slim chance you might be able to solve the problem by booting in safe mode and then rebooting as usual, or by resetting the SMC.
Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
If those steps don't work, there's an even slimmer chance that you might solve the problem by reinstalling OS X. Your profile says you're running 10.6.8. You would need your installation disc to reinstall that, which you probably don't have with you.
Failing all that, you might be able to use a USB microphone, if you can find one. Don't buy another analog microphone with a mini-audio connector. It won't work.

  • Built in speakers not working, no red light, 2011 MacBook Pro 15''.

I have been having audio issues with my computer ever since I upgraded to Mountian lion, internal speakers are not an option in sound settings. the volume indicator appears grey not black and sound is not adjustable. I am guessing Software issue because there is sound on my windows side. After looking at some crash reports and deleting unnessesairy files that could conflict. I saw some crash reports for coreaudiod and so i ran "open coreaudiod" in terminal (location usr>>sbin) came up with error "Exiting due to uncaught exception in main". I am not sure if this has anything to do with the issue, but it would be great if anyone could steer me in the right direction, or fix the problem entirely.

It sounds as though you're taking all the reasonable steps.
It could be a hardware issue, or a loose connector somewhere.  The key is to eliminate other possible sources of interference before assuming that it is hardware related (which will require a visit to the Mac Doctor).

    Relaunch the camera app.

  • Satellite A210 - Built in webcam doesnt work

After i reinstall my notebook (Satellite A210) with the factory DVD, my webcam get this error... "Webcam driver open fail. Please restart camera or computer".
What can be wrong? I have this notebook only 1 month and I bought it as brand new notebook.

It is very stupid situation. I have A200 with web cam and when OS installation is finished starts one small wizard and check if webcam is there or not. Hardware is recognised and all necessary drivers will be installed. After restart everything works well.
I presume the same should happen when you try to install your A210. Am I right? Try with recovery installation again. Maybe next time everything will be ok.

  • Built in isight doesnt work

when i click on photobooth it says that Photobooth cannot open because there is no camera attached or the camera is in use by another application. i know that the camera isnt used by anotehr application because i forced quit all applications and when i restart my computer it still says it. can someone please help

I sometimes get this same problem as you, although rarely (maybe like 2 out of 20 times). Most of the time, the problem goes away by itself. You can try to restart your MacBook to see if that works.
Or you can try what's suggested here:

  • Hp pavilion dv6-3151sf built-in speaker not working

Need help on hp pavilion dv6-3151sf built in speakers not working but can hear sound using the headphone. Is there a service manual on how to replace or check the speakers?

    Hi there @JINGDOMS
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, both from other users, HP experts and other support personnel.
In answer to your question about the service manual, there sure is, and I am happy to help you with this.
You can find it on the support page for your model, or just use this link: HP Pavilion dv6 Entertainment PC - Maintenance and Service Guide.
Within the service guide you will find the replacement instructions for the individual assemblies, and also the part numbers.  I would start with just checking the connection to make sure it is good, and if there is still no sound from the speakers, you can also try this page as well, before replacing the part.
No Sound from the Speakers (Windows 7)
If you determine that is a faulty speaker and you want to get replacement parts, take a took at this page:
