Blackbook kernal panic after software update

Question

hi all,
have a massive problem of everytime i boot up i can't get past the apple icon without a kernal panic, i've also lost my snow leopard disc so can't reinstall, i don't have another mac to use only a windows laptop

Do you still have the original DVD's that shipped with the MacBook (10.5 probably)....if so try the Apple Hardware Test (AHT)....

Also see if it will boot into 'Safe Mode'....

Did the OS update fail?....I see "Mac OS version : Not yet set"
