BLANK adobe form when deployed

Hi
After many errors and obsatcles ,I could deploy a simple adobe application.But it just shows a blank white screen with script error saying
Undefined error.
I have configured the ADS in NW2004s
Please help me .I have ACF installed as i can deploy adobe forms in another server NW2004.
But when i try to run in NW2004s i get such a screen

Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to use interactive forms running on different environments, as only one ACF installation is possible at the same time on the client.
A solution could be to upgrade to nw04s SP11 and use ZCI, which can be used for next versions.
In a productive environment, very often there are multiple servers running ADS, and they have the same SPS level. Or there is one ADS-only server.

Blank adobe form displayed in web dynpro application

Hi,
I have created an Interactive Adobe form using web dynpro Java. When I run the form (in IE), a blank page is displayed.
If I keep the Adobe reader open and run the form on IE, the form is opened in reader and it's working.
When I access the same form on a different system, there is no problem.
Does this have anything to do with the IE settings or Adobe Reader version/ updates.
I have checked the adobe reader version and it's the same on both the systems.
Version:
Adobe Reader Version : 8.1.2.
Adobe Designer 7.1
SAP NW 2004s - SP 15

Not sure what the problem could be, here are some suggessionsu2026
Check whether you have enabled the option Display PDF in browser in the Adobe Reader.
I should be under: Edit > Preference > Internet
Also, in your Web Dynpro Application, try to set the u201CdisplayTypeu201D property of your Interactive form to ActiveX
Else, just try upgrading your Adobe Reader to latest version!

Problem with fonts in forms when deployed on web

Hi everybody out there! Please help me out. My problem is:
I have used developer server to deploy forms on web, but when a
form is shown on web, it takes some default settings for fonts
and colors instead of retaining the original colors and fonts
that i chose during creating forms. I want that forms retain
their original colors and fonts when deployed on web. How would
i do that ?? Someone told me to check the Registry.dat file but
i do not how to change the settings in registry.dat file. So
help me out and tell me how would i change color and font
settings for forms being shown on web by web app. server.

The problem is no resolved:) In the Visual Attribute Group I changed the Font Weight to Bold in the Property Palette.

Barcode printing in ADOBE form when data and Barcode are in different pages

How to send raw value to the Barcode when data values are availabe in Master page and Barcode in the Design page.
Barcode needs to print once on the first page, so it is on Designer page.
Values needed for display of barcode is avilabe on Master page.

Can we store values @run time in Adobe Forms when there are multiple views

Hi,
I am new to Web dynpro Java - Adobe Forms. I working on a solution for the following scenario.
I have 3 Views (each an adobe Form) in a web dynpro component.
I have to capture the user entered values in View1 and View2 (PDFs) and display them in VIew 3 (another PDF)
I am able to capture the values in the recent view. (view2) but the values from the view1(Context elements ) are cleared.
Can I hold or store the values from the first view like we do in java using session variables??
Also, if there is any other way out, please let me know.

i am new to interactive adobe forms
i am following the tutorials for learning adobe forms
when i am working with adobe forms error was occured.
cannot find PDL type for output device local
Device type unsuitable for ADS documents
and i am searching for related documents in sdn
i had found no. of documents related to this issue but i can't find the proper solution
i have already installed Adobe Life Cycle Designer.
can anyone explain me clearly about the issue.

Requirements for displaying Adobe forms

Dear All,
I have developed an application with interactive form ui element(Adobe). When I deployed the application I was not able to see it initially but after the installation of ACF I am able to see it perfectly(thanks to Arafat in this forum). Now, I just want to know what are the end user requirements in order to be able to see the application on their end. My queries are:
1. What are the end-user requirements in order to see these adobe interactive forms?
2. What is the native type in interactive forms UI element and what does it do(if I set type as native)? In which version this native type is available. I am using 2.0.9 version right now(I have 7.0 version too) but I was unable to find this type in any of them.
3. Does the user requires the installation of ACF in order to view this adobe form once deployed on their server?
4. What is the minimum version of Adobe that needs to be available at the client machine in order to be able to view this interactive form?
I hope I am clear with what my doubts are. It's a bit urgent . Helpful answers will be appreciated with reward points.

Here are answers to your queries:
1: End User Requirements -
If you are using activex controls:
- Adobe Reader 7.x or above and when using ver 8, then 8.1 & above
- ACF Installed
If you are using Adobe Native Controls:
- No need for ACF
- Adobe Reader 8.1.x or above
2: You can find native type nder displaytype property of Interactive form UI elemen. If you are using the nativ type, then it makes the ZCI.
3: Yes, if you are using ActiveX components in your form, then you need ACF
4: 8.1 or above is best... 7.x will also do but there may be some instances where 7 wouldnt work

I have designed an isr adobe form, I am able to enter the values in the form.When I choose send , I am able to get the notification number.
When I use the notification no in the transaction iqs2, All the cahracteristics in the form are blank.I want the values of the form to be stored.

I dont know how to use the separate symbol to make a paragraph separate into several lines correctly in the text field in the adobe form.
Action:
1. config the ADS successfully.
2. create the adobe form with a mult-line textfield(binding the 'remark' context in the interface of the form) using sfp.
3. create a WDA for invoke the form and transfer the 'remark' context data.
I use the following codes to display the paragraph in the PDF document:
CONCATENATE
'1、aaaaaaaaaaa；'
'2、bbbbbbbbb '
'3、ccccccccccc'
'4、ddddddddd'
INTO remark .
lo_nd_z_hr_php_payslip->set_attribute(
EXPORTING
name = `REMARK`
value = remark ).
But I found all the content aren't paragraph separate correctly in the text field in the adobe form when I run the WDA.
Could you please give me some hints to make the paragraph separate correctly in PDF document? Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi,
If it is just a one word value then you could use this in the exist event;
this.rawValue
= util.printx(">?<*",this.rawValue);
This changes the first character (represented by the ?) to uppercase (represented by the >) and all trailing characters (represented by the *) to lowercase (represented by the <).
If you wanted something more general ... if they could also enter a middle name then you could call a function like;
function toTitleCase(textValue)
return textValue.toLowerCase().replace(/\b[a-z]/g, function replacer(match) { return match.toUpperCase(); });
This uses a regex to change all lowercase letters following a word boundary to uppercase.

Adobe forms:Data view palette not showing any fields present in the context

Hi Experts,
I am trying to create a static adobe form by following a step-by-step tutorial.The steps I have followed are:
1. Created an Interface with just one field in the Import parameters (apart from the default one).
2. Created a form by using that interface and included that field in the context .
3. Activated the form and wennt to the layout of the form.
4. I should be seeing that field added and activated in the context in the form but its not there.
What could possibly be the reason for it.Please guide me.

Hi,
I am working on Adobe Form when I open it in change mode I am unable to see the below options in it.
Always I could see only the preview of pdf output. I tried for the option in Palette by right click on the pdf form->Right Click->Palette but it has options Border,Accessibility etc but no option is related to DataView or Hierarchy palettes.
I am looking for Dataview and Hierarchy Palettes to be displayed on the left side of the form.
Please share if any ideas.

I created a view and in the view..i used INTERACTIVE FORM UI element and then crated an interface also.
now I am in adobe form.
when I searched the in ADOBE ,i found the TIME SHEET provided by sap.
now i want to make use of that adobe form in my web dynpro component.
my question i s:
how to map the exising ADOBE TIME SHEET fields to my web dynpro component.
do i need to create the nodes and attributes for all the elements in CONTEXT.
PLZ HELP ME.

Problem with Configuration of GP for Adobe Forms

Hi,
I following the guide 'Configuration of GP for Adobe Forms' (from Configuration of GP for Adobe Forms )
When i try to configure 'Web Service Clients' in the visual administrator:
Configure this parameters:
- Destination URL SLD
- Authentication BASIC
- User
- Password
but the frame with this parameters:
-- System Name
-- WS Name
-- WS Port
don´t show.
I think it is an error in swing because the title 'System Landscape Synchronization' show but the scrollbar stop there.

Strange behaviour of Adobe Forms

Hi Experts,
I am using webdynpro Java with AIF on NW2004s SP9, Adobe Reader 7.0.9 with NWDS 7.0.09.
AIF is working fine when I access using Local area network and I am facing strange behaviour of AIF using dial-up access. I am not able to retrieve the parameters of Adobe forms when I access using dial-up connecting through VPN to portal server. whatever values I entered in Adobe UI fields where not showing up in webdynpro application. Same application is working fine with LAN and able to retrieve all parameter values of Adobe UI elements.
Dial-up is connecting at 50kbps speed and Adobe forms size is around 300kb.
