Blank ink not working hp6510

Same problem as others...black ink stopped working...ordered two new cartridges...put them in today...still not working...tried the suggestions...clean print head extra.   Please help...this is very frustrating...Thank you.  HP 6510

Hello nanybird,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you are running into some print quality issues on your HP Photosmart 6510, you are unable to print in black ink after replacing the cartridge.
Were you able to complete ALL steps listed here: Printer Does Not Print Black Ink or Color Ink, or Prints Blank Pages, I understand you may have done some of these steps already but I need you to complete all steps in order to resolve the missing black issue you are experiencing.
Please note: There are three printhead cleaning stages. Complete all three stages if necessary. If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last (third) cleaning stage to start the first stage of the cleaning process over again.
If you are still unable to print in black ink, I suspect the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge. Please let me know which Country/Region you are in as well as the product Warranty status: HP Warranty Checker
I hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks,
HevnLgh

From the App Store menu bar top of your screen click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
If that doesn't help, disable anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
Keep in mind, for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk using Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband (high speed internet) access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.

  • HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer Black Ink not Working

My HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One does not print black ink but the color ink is working perfectly fine even though the ink status shows that there is black ink left. After I've changed a new black ink cartridge, it will start to work again but after one day it stop printing black ink again. I've only printed a page the previous day and the ink status shows that there's black ink left in it (close to full). I've tried the methods stated here (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03882718&cc=sg&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5305051) but the black ink still doesn't work. So how can I solve this problem??

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!  I see you are running into some print quality issues on your HP Officejet 4630, you are unable to print in black ink, even after replacing the cartridges.

  • Desk jet 4280 all in one - black ink not working

I have a new blank ink cartridge with full ink level. Black photocopying does not work but colour does. I have tried resetting and restarting printer and removing and reinserting cartridge.
Black printing from computer does not work either.
    Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

    Hi @Banana65
I would like to help you with the your black print quality. Please use the following document to troubleshoot the issue; Faded, Missing, or Dull Colors in Printouts.
If the issue remains unresolved after following all of the steps in the link above, I recommend contacting HP.
Don't hesitate to call, although the printer may be out of warranty, the cartridges could be in warranty; therefore, there wouldn't likely be a fee for the phone support. HP will, at HP's option, either replace products under warranty that prove to be defective or refund the purchase price.
They could even determine after troubleshooting that it is a problem with the printer, in which case they may offer you a discount on a newer model.
The number to call HP is 1-800-474-6836 for Canada and US, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.
To find the “Warranty Ends” date, look in the following table for the date's location on each product. The date follows the YYYY/MM/DD or YYYY/MM format, where YYYY indicates the year, MM indicates the month, and DD indicates the day.
    I hope this helps.

  • HP Photosmart C6200 Series Blue Inks Not Working

    Hi all,
I have an HP Photosmart c6200 series printer and the blue ink cartridges are not working. I've read similar problems about black ink cartridges, but on different printers so I am looking for some help here.
All of my ink cartridges recently expired, so I went to a professional store and had them emptied and refilled. I put all of the ink cartridges back in the printer and did a test - I noticed the blue inks were not working. From there, I have tried removing them/reinserting them, looking for visible chunks and running printhead cleans from the printer. So far nothing is working.
I've printed out a diagnostics page and the boxes that should have the blue inks show up completely empty, not just streaky. I have followed all instructions from the diagnostics page.
If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. I do not think my printer is under warranty anymore.

    Hi JessicaBruzzese,
I understand you have a Photosmart C6200 printer that is not printing any blue after refilling the cartridges. I'm sorry to hear this, but I will do my best to help.
It sounds to me like the refilled ink may not be able to make it out of the cartridge. I will suggest that you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet and follow this Missing, Faded, or Dull Colors document. If it's still not working after that, you can also try cleaning the cartridge contacts.
If the blue continues not to print, you may have to purchase another HP cartridge.
Hope this helps, have a great day!!

  • D4260 Printer-Colour Ink not Working

My last colour cartridge was working fine then one day it just stopped and I have flashing light, i tried getting it cleaned, troubleshotting with my computer and it still didtn work. I had to delete the driver and then reinstall it in order to get the black ink to work.
I bought a new colour cartridge and installed it and now nothing prints in colour. I tried looking at the properties of the printer and everything is selected for it to print in colour, but instead of colour it prints in various shades of grey. When I look at the print preview, it shows that it will print in colour but it never does.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Will I have to delete the driver AGAIN and reinstall it? This is getting annoying!
    Any help is much appreciated!

    Hey @mbonns ,
Thank you for joining us on the HP Forums today, hope you enjoy your time with us!
I understand you are getting printouts that are not in color even though you select color printing, see a print preview in color and prepare the document in color.
Are you getting this error across all different programs?
Do other documents print this way?
Can you inspect the cartridges and make sure that they are not damaged?
Look forward to hearing back from you. Have a nice day.

  • Black ink not working after my computer did an update (2 new cartridges put in)

Black ink stopped working suddenly.  Tried 2 new cartridges and they did not work.  Since the day before their was an automatic 'updates' on my computer I thought it was that, but making copies doesn't work either.  I already cleaned the print heads with still not even a hint of black ink coming out.
Usually, when the ink gets low it will be light at first or streaky . . . not just none at all.  Could the update been a problem?

The update is likely not related.  I would suggest going through the troubleshooting steps in the document here.   Be sure especially to check the vents as shown in solution six.  If the steps there do not resolve the issue soaking the printhead as shown in the post here may help.

Replaced all the ink cartridges and the black one does not work properly. It prints greyish blue during the printer head cleaning. I've tried all the troubleshooting procedures that others have done multiple times.
I also got an error "0xc19a0013" today after I plugged the printer back in.
It is not currently under warranty. Please advise!
    THANKS!

  • HP Officejet Pro L7590 Blank ink stopped working

Hi, my problem is that when my black in ran out, I replaced it with a new one, it worked for a couple pages then stopped. The printer is still making all printing actions, just nothing showing up on the page. all colors still work. I have tried a total of 3 New black 88s and it has to be the printer. Not sure how to fix this. There are no errors coming up or anything. Anyone have any ideas. I already powered it of, unplugged it over night, Everything. Can't figure this one out on my own.
    Thanks )

    Hi,
Maybe there is some dried ink in the printhead
You might want to try cleaning the printhead.
Press the setup button that is available in the printer, then choose Tools-> Clean Printhead.

  • Black ink not working

my hp photosmart premium c390g-m installed a few years ago has been working fine.
now will not print in black. new cartridge has been installed. cleaned printhead.
    alignment fails.
do i need a new printer?

    Hi dani-d,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I understand you have been using your HP Photosmart C309g for a few years with no problems, you recently changed the cartridges and now you are unable to print in black ink. You have cleaned the printhead but the alignment is failing. I would like you to try a few troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the alignment fail and print quality issues before I can make any suggestions regarding a new printer. Are you getting any other error messages on the C309g? Please complete the documents in order to try and resolve the issues you are experiencing:
    1. 'Printhead Problem' or 'Printhead Appears to be Missing or Damaged' Message Displays on the Computer- This document has you clean the printhead and contacts to make sure no ink has dried up and clogged the nozzles.
    2. An 'Alignment failed' Error Message Displays on the All-in-One- Next you will make sure the cartridges are properly installed and vented, and clean inside the printer.
    3. Now you will start Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues, here you will make sure all of the print diagnostics are printing fine and there are no more issues.
Please let me know if this was helpful, I will watch for your reply.
    Thanks,

  • Xcelsius 2008 SP1 - Ignore Blank cells not working

I have a ticker object that is showing the values from a QaaWs query just fine, but at the end of the list I keep getting the words NULL - NULL - NULL - .... This solution is working in the OEM release of Xcelsius 2008.
The range is set longer than the expected number of rows returned to handle changes in the table its querying.
I have Values selected and the Ignore Blank Cells In Values box is checked, so what am I missing?
Is it time to log an issue within support?
    Tom Nather

    Hello Tom,
This problem is known and documented.  It will be addressed in the next FixPack for Xcelsius 2008.
The problem is caused by binding the QaaWS/WS Output Values field to more rows than are actually returned.  The cells that are not filled with actual data are formatted with an "undefined" value, thus they are not ignored by "Ignore End Blanks".  This is expressed differently depending on the component.
For now, one workaround is to output the QaaWS/WS values to a range (A1:A10, for instance), then reference the range (=A1) in another (B1:B10, for example).  If the selector labels are bound to this 2nd range, they will Ignore End Blanks correctly.

  • Ink not working

I just recently purchased a Wacom Bamboo tablet, and I installed everything correctly from the CD it came with. But when I "turn on" handwriting recognition in Ink preferences, no Inkwell pad shows up, and when I try to toggle to Inking to handwrite in another program, it says that Ink is disabled, when it's not. And if I close out of System Preferences, it reverts back to "off" for handwriting recognition.
    Have I missed something?

Bumping it as I think it got lost.
I've searched everything I could think of. The Bamboo users manual says to remove three preference files from Home->Library->Preferences, but when I go there there's only one of the three that it lists, and removing it does nothing. I've tried downloading and installing the driver update for my tablet, but to no avail. Ink just won't work, and the only place I can do any sort of handwriting is in Skitch, the tablet tutorial, and Corel or Photoshop.

  • Rendering a blank page not working for multiple xdp's in assembler

    Hi,
we are trying to append different .xdp's witht he assembler service to get the resultant .pdf
    Main xdp :docin.xdp
    2nd .xdp : doci2n.xdp
there are multiple xdp's that would be combined together with the ddx,
the main xdp (pdf from the main .xdp) should always end with an even page, i have a blank page that fires up when the pdf ends with an odd number , when tested just the main xdp with the assembler service it works fine (it ends with even page)
but when other xdp's are sent with the main xdp in the assembler, the assembler prints the .pdf from the second .xdp on the even page (which is supposed to be blank- with the incorporated logic in the main .xdp), is there a way that the .pdf from main xdp (docin.xdp) can end with even pages and the .pdf from other .xdp(doci2n.xdp) can start on an odd page.
