Blank iTunes Store Screen

Hi,
I had upgraded to iTunes 8.1 but had a number of problems so I went back to version 8.02. Everything is back to normal except the iTunes Store - when I call it up I just get an empty screen with the grey controls at the top and the grey window at the bottom. There's nothing being displayed whether I'm logged in or not. Anybody got an idea on how to get the iTunes Store to display the store contents? Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. The iTunes store looks like it is going to come up and then the screen is white. I can't click on anything in the store. It's been like this for over a week.

I have a blank iTune store screen after upgrading to 10.5. Can only see the account details but no apps nor podcasts.

Try rebooting your computer and then your iTunes.

  • Why do i have a blank itunes store page?

Ever since I updated to 10.5 I now get a blank screen on the itunes store page.
    How do I fix this?
I have already uninstalled and re installed itunes but it didn't work.
    Help!
    thanks

I also had this problem with a blank #16th category on my Macbook Pro.
I noticed it after I had uninstalled Xcode. Deleting the Spotlight p.list or editing it made no difference.
On my iMac (on which I had never installed Xcode, and with 15 categories in Spotlight preferences, also running Lion) i noticed under Macintosh HD there were 5 folders: Applications, Library, System, Users, Downloads; and 1 alias: User Guides and Information.
On my MBP there was an additional folder: Developer.
Not sure if this is because of an uninstall issue from Xcode, but I deleted the Developer folder and Spotlight is back to 15 categories under Spotlight preferences.
Obviously dont do this if you are still using Xcode or any other Apps dependent on the Developer folder!
    Hope that helps.

  • Blank iTunes Store

If I try to access the iTunes Store the progress bar goes half way and just sits and then all I get is a blank screen.
If I run the Help Run Diagnostics it complains about a secure connection.   If I go and do all the Apple says to do it still doesn't solve the problem.

If you are running 10.5, that is a common problem.  See this document for how to correct the issue: iTunes 10.5 for Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store

  • Blank iTunes Store Window

Whenever I try to open iTunes on my family’s mac mini, I get a blank window. I can see my account info and am connected to the internet, using itunes 12, and not getting a specific error message. Any suggestions?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then open the iTunes Store window. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

  • Blank iTunes store page on iPod touch

I upgraded to iOS 7 on latest generation iPod touch and now I cannot get a picture when I try to access iTune store. Everything else seems to work ok.  Is this something I can fix? Is it problem with new upgrade?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign out and sign back in
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • My itunes store screen is blank signing in from macbook

I have a macbook and have the latest 11.02 update for itunes. when i sign in with my i.d the store comes up with my email address etc but the screen remains blank and white? No products /music/anything are displayed. I can check my account settings and payment details etc but cannot search for music etc as the bar simply searches for the store but returns to the blank screen.

If anyone else is having this problem this answer worked for me:
    >Start Menu
    >Accessories
    >Right click on the command prompt and click "run as an administrator"
Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset then hit enter
You should get a message that the winsock reset sucessful and you will need to reboot your computer

  • Itunes store blank

itunes app store is blank. Whenever I open itunes and click on the itunes store I get a blank page. All the buttons are listed: music, tv, movies, apps, etc, but when I click on any button, the progress bar above loads rapidly and it still ends up a blank page. I can see my itunes library and I can access my account information (which doesn't format well, but shows up as an html list on the left) and that's about it. Can't view the store at all. It has nothing to do with my itnernet settings. I've checked other forums. I've deleted and downloaded and re-loaded the itunes app. I've updated it (itunes 11.0.2) . I've updated my software (Mac OSX 10.6.8). I've checked my itunes preferences and saw no roadblocks. I allow connections when it asks. I just don't know why I can't access itunes. Does this have something to do with icloud? I don't participate in icloud and have not renewed my icloud account in close to a year. Am I being punished for not being in icloud?
I can still purchase apps using my apple id using my iphone, ipod, and ipad. On these devices I have full access. it's just on my macbook pro that I get a blank itunes store screen. Can anyone help with this? I'd hate to have to take the macbook into the store for this.
    Thanks for reading.

It is not your Mac Book Pro. The same thing has been happening to me all day on my ASUS laptop with Windows 8, except with me I previously could not get the store to appear but now it is. Don't ask me how, it just worked itself out. This time, however, I am dealing with a "buy" button that is not wanting to work for me.

  • Safari wont load or itunes store or ping

    Hi,
i have a windows 7 pc 64bit. Itunes store, safari and ping will not load. This also occurs on a windows 7 32bit pc on the same network. I have uninstalled/reinstalled all apple products. I definitly have the 64bit version of software on the 64bit pc and the latest versions of all software and i have disabled windows firewall and all spyware/antivirus programs. I have tried to email apple and they were hopeless and pathetic. I dont want to ring anyone at apple and email jsut went in circles.
    Steve

I had the same issue on Vista and started researching this after being unable to sync my iPhone4 or access the iTunes Store after upgrading iTunes and Safari. Found a thread here that gave me the tip to uninstall ALL Apple software and then reinstall it all. This includes QuickTime, Application Support, Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, etc.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling (and burning about 3 hours in the process) all the software I had uninstalled. However, after I had installed iTunes and before I installed Safari, I started iTunes to see if I could access the iTunes Store and I could!
Well, I thought I was on my way to full syncing and iTunes Store browsing pleasure..."must have been a bad install" I said and promptly reinstalled Safari as well.Once that was done, I started up iTunes and was met with the same blank iTunes Store screen, and was unable to sync my iPhone. Sigh.
So - uninstalled all Apple software again and resinstalled JUST the iTunes package. This time around, full success with iTunes Store and iPhone syncing!
Obviously, a browsing engine/rendering failure on the part of Safari that doesn't impact the browser in iTunes until Safari is installed.
    1. Uninstall all Apple software
    2. Reinstall ONLY iTunes package

  • HT4913 when i try to look at music at the itunes store i just get a blank white screen

i log in then press itunes store it processes then i just get a blank white screen. no music to look at or download

If you're seeing a blank iTunes Store, see this support article:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4123
If that does't help, try resetting Winsock. This has solved the problem for some people, at least.
    1) Click on your start menu.
    2) Go to accessories
    3) Run the Command Prompt application. For those with Vista or Windows 7, right click on Comman Prompt and choose "run as administrator".
    4) Once it opens, type in the following command...
    netsh winsock reset
    5) hit Enter and it should say something like Winsock reset successful.
    6) Reboot your computer and try the iTunes Store again.
    Regards.
