Blank Messages

A large number of my messages appear to be blank. I have a Smart Mailbox set up to see mails older than one year, and these messages appear in that list. They display the correct From and Subject, but the entire message is totally blank. But probably the most telling thing is that there is no Mailbox listed for these messages - they appear to be somehow 'lost'. I have indeed done some recent moving around of mailboxes and archiving of old mail to mboxes, but I hadn't expected this problem, and I don't remember how I used to have things arranged so I can't revert. How can I recover the content of these emails?

not too sure.. you could try making a backup of your /Users/username/Library/Preferences/Mail folder and then recreate your account / reimport your emails.

OUtlook was already set as the mail client for FF, and is my operating system (XP)'s default mail programme. therefore problem not solved at all. what I get whenever I follow a link in a webpage to send an e-mail is a little pop up window asking me to sign in to gmail or open an account. any other suggestions?

Mail regularly open the new blank message window

After Mail initial start the programm opens a new blank message window. When I try to close it I receive the message "Do you want to save it as a draft and work on it later?"
The new blank message window appears regularly every 4-5 minutes. How can I fix it? And thanks in advance for response and help.

Do you see the Outbox in Mail? Does it contain any messages?

BODI - Job Error " blank message,possibly due to insufficient memory

Ending up with below error while executing a DI job. The job uses a file of size 37 MB as source. As the error looks something related to memory. I have tried splitting up the input file into and executed the job. The job completed successfully without any error.
Could someone help me out to find any memory setting which needs to be investigated in the dataflow level to get a permanent solution for it.
Expecting for help !!!

Hi,
loading a 37MB file shouldnt be a problem without splitting it. i´ve loaded GB size flatfiles without problems.
Did you checked the error.txt as stated in the message? Whats in there.
If you split the file and you can load it, you have enough space in your DB.
Please check the memory utilization of your server during executing the job with one file. Maybe the Server is too busy...what would be strange with a 37MB file.

Messages icon indicates that there is an unopened message but when i go into it the message is blank and no option to delete it. Any ideas how i can get rid of this and stop it from opening up in the blank message each time i open my messages?

Any suggestions how i can get rid of this message, and prevent my phone from always opening up in the blank message whenever i go into my messages, rather than just opening as my inbox?

Hard restart.. While the phone is powered in, hold the power and home button. Hold them down and keep them held down. the phone will eventually shut itself off and reopen. keep held down till you see the appl elogo, then release. This will not delete anything off your phone, it will just force all apps to stop their current process. If you just turn the phone on and off, it will just pick up where it left off. Good luck

Blank message when I send a video via a text message

I got a replacement iPhone 4s last week. Whenever I try and send a video (shot using the phone) via text message, the recipient (who uses an iPhone) gets a blank message, but are able to get pictures? Do I need to check certain settings?

I would say the carrier is compressing the file to send. Since the two of you are on Verizon, they might not do it on their system, but when they cross systems, (AT&T) they compress for reducing bandwidth. Why don't you send via iMessage?

Blank Message Box when Saving a report in InfoView

I'm getting a blank message box when I try to save any report from any folder in infoview for users I have setup in the following Group. Has anyone run into this on know what is set wrong in security?
We are running BOXI2. I have setup a custom security group for InfoView Users that grants rights to the following in Home > BusinessObjects Enterprise Applications > InfoView >- all other rights are not specified
Log on to InfoView and view this object in the CMC

Try This..
1. Open the crystal client on your local machine and import that particular report.
2. Do Database -> Verify Database. Then refresh the report on your PC and make sure that it returns data as expected.
3. Export it back to repository and try scheduling it again. You can verify through CMC for Crystal Reports under " Database Configuration" property to make sure it points to the right ODBC.

I am not able to delete a blank message in model C...

When I tried to delete in box messages its being being displaying as "Error occurred, deletion not completed." and its not deleting the received messages because there is one blank message in the list.

The only solution i would recommend is gettin your phone flashed. I had the same problem with a C2-01 i had. Its an internal error that demands for the phone memory to be reinstalled.

But not all messages.. and not for mails from apple domain.

Nevermind, the problem fixed itself. I don't know what happened; I think I restarted my computer, and the problem was gone. Nevermind!

Why do i have to send a blank message just to recive other messages

im rather annoyed by this but i have to send other contacts in my ipod a blank message just to recive other messages, and i also have 2 apple id's ive used both of them for imessage so is there any way i can recieve my imessges from both apple id's without out having to switch my imessaging email address to another

Mail 3.6 delivering blank messages

Mail has suddenly started delivering some emails with blank messages. The messages seem to be from businesses (bank, Netflix, library, etc). When clicking on message to open, multi-colored ball rotates for sometime, then black & white circle whirls with 'loading' displayed. The email finally opens with only the heading showing. Message is completely blank. Can receive emails from individuals with attachments without a problem.
Any suggestions?

Incoming Emails with Blank message body in Outlook 2013 and 2010

Why Some of the incoming message we received in Outlook are displayed with blank message body but same message when viewed from Internet browser web client or in Blackberry device message body is viewable and also same message is viewable
in outlook ver 2003 , 2007, 2010 ( without service pack1)
Above problem of incoming email message with blank message body we are facing to users with outlook2013 and outlook 2010 (with sp1) and when the sender of the email is using Lotus Notes Client ver 8.5.3
Request you kindly suggest any setting need to be done in outlook or windows registry to resolve the email messages with blank body.

This is commonly seen with an Outlook add-in, such as the AVG add-in. I just ran into it again today. I removed AVG and enabled Windows Defender on a Win8 laptop with Outlook 2013, and that took care of the issue. If you must use AVG, you can disable the
add-in and then test new emails.
To disable the AVG add-in, this is one method:

PC Suite Communications Manager Blank Messages

Hi,
I am using Windows XP SP3 with PC Suite 7.1.30.8. I am connecting to my Nokia 5310 through Bluetooth.
When I use the communications manager in PC suite to check on the SMSes on my phone, I see 5 blank messages. No matter how I try to delete these messages thru PC Suite, they always show up again when I sync. However on my phone itself, these blank message do hot show up. Example: I see 10 regular SMS and 5 blank SMS in PC suite, but when I access SMS directly on my phone, I only see the 10 regular SMS but not the 5 blank SMS.
Any way I can delete these blank SMSes?

Blank messages appearing

Messages are appearing that have nothing in them. For instance, I can have a message from "Joe" that shows up in the list of messasges. Then later, if I open the messages app, there will be the original message from "Joe" and another message from "Bob" that has no content. The blank messages are from other iMessage users, so I am wondering if they are showing up because someone is starting a message with me, but never finishing it? Any ideas?

High processor use and blank messages in Yosemite mail

I am noticing very high processor use from Yosemite Mail, and I am also having problems with blank messages.
Under Mavericks, I had a problem where I double click on a mail message to open it. The message would flash on the screen for a moment and then disappear. The message in my inbox would be marked as read. I could then open it again and read it normally. Over time, I tracked this down as having to do with Mail doing anything else when I requested to open the email. For instance, if I delete a message and then immediately try to open the next message, the problem would occur. If I waited 5 seconds or so, then opened the next message, the problem would not occur.
Now, under Yosemite, I find that if I open a message quickly after performing another task, the message window is blank and never fills in. I can close that message window and open it again, it may work, or it may still be blank. I have found where certain messages appear to be stuck and will open blank until I open a different message and then come back to the problem message.
I have also noticed that Mail under Yosemite appears to use very high percentages of processor time. Checking the activity monitor, Mail is third behind WindowServer and kernel_task for processor usage. And I have another question on the community about my system running hot with the fan spooling up and down constantly under Yosemite, something that almost never happened under any of the previous OS's going back to Snow Leopard.
Any idea what is going on with the Mail app in Yosemite? I was excited about Mail finally advancing in capability, but it seems to have come at a cost..... Come on Apple - Mail needs to catch up with Outlook!

I also have this problem since Yosemite upgrade. Infuriating because I can't just read incoming emails anymore. It seems to be specific to one email account and doesn't necessarily cause a problem with others. When this happens, (showing the content for a second then disappearing), there is a segmentation fault reported in the error log.
For me, this is a category one critical business problem. If I can't read and reply to incoming email reliably on my computer, I will need to switch to another system or device that can.

Good news is that the email app does seem to work a bit quicker than before using Mavericks where it could hang for 10-20 seconds for no particular reason.
Hope this can be fixed or a workaround posted soon.

IOS4 - Blank Messages in Gmail

And now that I've upgraded to OS4 on my iPod touch, I'm getting odd messages when I sync with my Gmail account. If there are nested messages (multiple responses, etc) there will be blank messages in the group that I can't delete and that I can't mark as read. If I do some pruning on my Gmail account directly on a PC, they go away, but until I do that, they linger on my iPod, constantly "unread".
What's going on?
And on a related matter, can we please get the "Delete" option back? I don't archive and I'd rather not have that as default.

I have the same issue as the above user, and echo his suggestion regarding a "Delete" option.
