Blank page in iview - need help

Hi All,
I really need your expertise..Actually, I've issue with my users, where few of them encountered missing page in their iView. I tried to to find 'user setting option' but unfortunately, it gave nothing..only windows option,i.e, print, view source code, properties and so on.and amazingly there was no error message,it just give them an empty screen,no header,no subview, etc.
Wondering is there any place,where i can restore their missing page or iview..It only happened to some people, and i believe they accidentally clicked on 'Remove Page' Option
FYI, Am using NETWEAVER 7.0

iView works when previewed but is blanked when assigned to a role/page.

Try updating to iTunes 10.4.1 -> http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If that doesn't work, try resetting Winsock. It looks like that worked for quite a few people in this thread -> With iTunes 10.4 I can access iTunes store.

It is hardly Apple's fault that Epson can't/won't update their driver, but at least Epson suggest that you use the Gutenprint driver, which in any case is far better that what Epson offer.

Can't get email in Foxfire-blank page only-Safari works-help.

When I try to access my Hughes email account from Firefox, I get a blank page. I can get all the way to hughes webmail list, which Firefox shows as a blank page.
I can access the same email page just fine from Safari.

Since this is a forum for the MacBook Pro hardware, you should go to the Safari and Lion forums. Do a search and/or ask a question. Hope this helps.

Deleted Database from OEM Page showing pending - Need help pls..

Hi..
I need urgent help for this issue. Yesterday I saw a production database was not communicating on the OEM home page so I deleted it from the page restarted the agent on the server and re-added it to the OEM home page (10g OEM). It has been showing pending since yesterday and is still uploading XML files. I forced an upload of files using emctl upload agent and it is still uploading and showing pending. Is there any way I can get this PRODUCTION database to show up normal and be accessible in OEM? I need help on this soon as we need to have it available in OEM for monitoring... Also, it should still have it's history even though I deleted it from the database page. Correct?

Why does it show 0 as the number of files pending upload, but still uploading files? The number of file uploaded so far continues to increment.

You are able to access all the DB pages because the OMS makes a direct connection to the target DB to retrieve in information in these pages. The historical performance details are also queried from the AWR of the target DB and is not stored in the Grid control repository DB.
The status is however computed by the Agent monitoring this DB. If the DB status is incorrect though it is running, it means that the Agent is unable to compute the status or has incorrect monitoring configuration details for this DB. You can check this by choosing the Database and clicking on the 'Configure' button. Review whether all the database details are correct and attempt a 'test connection' in this page.

Blank Page, Really Stuck, Please Help

Hi all,
I've got a Report that I'm running from a client application to a job server that produces a Crystal Report. When I run this report against a local server on my machine the report completes without issue but when I run it against a different server on a different machine the report displays 3 blank pages in the middle of the data. I'm using the same database, same data, same report file. This occurs ONLY when running this report against the remote server and is unconcerned with any of the above listed conditions.
-I'm using Crystal Reports 11.5
Visual Studio 2008
-My local machine is 32 bit win7, the remote server is 32 Windows Server 2008.
If anyone could give me a hand at all I would be EXTREMELY gracious.

Hey guys, thanks a ton for the responses.
I think I'm getting close. It has something to do with "Keep Together" either on the columns in a crosstab or on a couple sections within the report.
What's really still blowing my mind here is how it's different on the 64 bit machine. The client application is previewing the reports in adobe reader so I don't think the print drivers should be relevant. I did go ahead and update to Adobe Reader 10 on both machines and it had no effect but playing with these "keep together" settings seems to work .
I'll check back with final results later.

Recipients cannot open files sent through Adobe Send. There was no problem with Adobe send Now. They see a blank page only! Please help!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having a problem with sending your files through Adobe Send. Can you provide more details?
What type of file are you sending?
When you download the file yourself, is it blank?
Are all recipients having the same problem?
Do the recipients get a Preview of the file?
Are they seeing the blank document as a Preview as well as after downloading?
Would it be possible for you to send the file to me through Adobe Send? I will provide you with my email address in a Private Message.

Try this.
Type in the address bar about:config.
Accept the warning.
In the page that appears, in the Filter box, type network.http.max-connections. Change the value to 32 (which is probably set to 256 in your case).
Close that page. Restart the browser.

Issue setting up iview - Need help

I'm setting up an iview to surface a SAP BW report through SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s)
I've tested the iview with the following value in the "BEx Web Application Query String" property of the iview
and am able to view my BW report in the portal iview as expected
CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=Z_CCA_UK_FIB_OPEX_TOTAL&VAR_NAME_1=ZPERRESP&VAR_VALUE_EXT_1=W123456
I now want to use a variable so that the VAR_VALUE_EXT_1 property of the url is generated at runtime
The VAR_VALUE_EXT_1 property is the user's login id (which must be uppercased for the BW report) so my url now becomes
CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=Z_CCA_UK_FIB_OPEX_TOTAL&VAR_NAME_1=ZPERRESP&VAR_VALUE_EXT_1=<User.userID[UPR_CASE]>
The above however fails to give me a report.
On debugging the url at the report end I can see that
&VAR_VALUE_EXT_1=<User.userID[UPR_CASE]> is being presented to the report rather than the user's actual login id
being substituted at run time as expected

Hello,
It sounds like you have almost everything set up but the vlan tagging on the ports. You will need to have inter-vlan routing disable which it seems like you have already done (enabling this feature will allow vlans to talk to one another). You may need to take a screen shoot of how everything is set up under L2 switch. Make sure all the ports are set to untagged and set to access port, you will need to put VLAN 1 on ports 1 and 2 and VLAN 2 on ports 3 and 4. As long as all the ports are set to access ports and untagged you should be fine at this point.
If you are still having issues take some screen shoots so we can check and see how it is set up.
Edit: while looking at the admin guide I see they are not called access ports. Guess its been a while since I've checked out a RVS4000.

Authschemes and portal / iviews - need help

I am aware that when I logon to the SAP portal, normally due to authschemes.xml configuration the default authscheme is used to authenticate the user (which uses the ticket auth template). I am interested to know if it is possible to configure the portal so that by entering a different url, I can use a new iview, and the iview will specify a non-default authscheme. This would allow me to logon using one method by entering the normal portal login URL and by another auth method by entering a different URL.
From what I understand about iviews (not much) I think this is possible, but I don't know for sure, and how to make it work. Can you help ?

Sorry, but I am now very confused. I was under the impression that authschemes were configured in authschemes.xml and available for use in any J2EE authentication requirement, not just for portals. I have seen references before to using authschemes for non-portal login, and can see nothing which is portal specific.
My understanding of what you said before is :
1. user accesses portal
2. portal login page redirects to our servlet, which may ask the user some questions or give them options before deciding what type of authentication to use.
3. our servlet triggers the authentication via UME API
4. The auth stack is processed based on the authscheme name given in UME API, and CreateTicketLoginModule will be used to issue an SSO2 ticket for SSO purposes.
5. The servlet will then redirect back to the portal page and the SSO2 ticket in browser will allow the logon to complete.
Is the above what you were suggesting, or if not, can you help me understand where I am getting this confused/wrong ?
The part we are having problems with is step 3 where we are unable to pass the authscheme we want to use as a parameter.

We were working on Oracle Reports and registering in 11i thr concurrent program and while running thr concurrent request we are getting blank pages from printer output, please let me know how to suppress blank pages as i need to get printouts without any white pages.
Say for example if we run concurrent request and o/p is 10 pages which consists of 3 blank pages so finally we need to get printer o/p with 7 pages which are having data as i need to stop printing which are having white pages.
Please help as this a critical scenario.....

Printing blank pages with an HP? I found a solution.

I have an hp Officejet 6110. I upgraded to Tiger and found that when printing a web page my printer would eject 3 blank pages and then print the document. A call to AppleCare did not solve the problem. Extensively searching on hp's website I found a solution entitled "HP PSC and Officejet All-in-One Products - Mac OS: Blank Pages When Printing From the Internet.
Issue
When printing from the internet, nothing prints or the pages are blank in Macintosh OS 10.4.x with driver version 7.4.0 and higher.
This information applies to the following products:
HP Officejet 6110, 6110v, and 6110xi
HP PSC 2210, 2210v, and 2210xi
Solution one - save as a pdf then print the file.
Solution two - change paper size to A4.
I changed the paper size from US Letter to A4 and no more blank pages.
Hope this helps anyone with the same problem. I was frustrated for months!
