Blank page in smartforms

Hi All,
I have created one smartform in that i use command node for page break it works fine. But problem is it will create one extra blank page at last.Pls help me regarding this.

Check where did you specified the conditions..you might probably specified on the windows.
Use Command to trigger the 3rd and 4th page instead of calling from previous pages. You can put the condition while using Command.

Printing extra pages in smartform

Hi All,
i'm new to smartforms.i got an issue on invoice(smartforms).i'm getting 3 extra blank pages in smartform.how and where should i rectify that.can any one help me please.

thanks for your prompt responses...added to the question, in the extra page i'm getting spool information.actually the program is set in background.once the invoice is issued the form is sent to printer.and in the spool it is displaying the actual pages only.its not showing the extra pages.but once it is out from the printer,i'm getting the extra pages with the spool information

Smartforms - Extra Blank Page in DUPLEX mode

Hello Friends,
I am printing my smartforms in DUPLEX page mode. Its printing fine but i am getting an extra blank page.
Searched the forum but no luck.
I have defined 3 pages Page1, PAGE_INST,Page2. I need to print instructions(say) on back of each page.
I had set page1 to duplex mode 'D' and next page to blank.
My pages flow is in the following way:
page1>Page INST>Page2
Page 1 & 2 have main windows and have a command to print PAGE_INST.
Page_INST Does not has main window.
Page1 : next Page 2.
Page INST : Next page is Page 2.
Page2 : is a continuation of page 1 next window is blank(or page 2)
Its printing fine in Duplex but always there is a blank sheet in the print out at last page.
Can someone help me how to avoid the last blank page.

Smartform: Blank page gets Printed

Hi All,
in my smart form i have two pages, Second page contains main window.
i have restricted my first page with some conditions , so that first page data will not be printed.
if i execute the smartform first page is printed blank without any data.
is there any option to avoid the blank page getting printed????

Hi Dinesh,
One reason for getting a blank page is if the windows are overlapped in the page layout. Please check and see if any window is overlapping.
Else, check for "page break" . This is a check box . Once this is activated for a text or window or page, it directs you to a new page. Probably this might be the problem.

Blank page getting displayed how to remove it from smartform?

I am using COMMAND line in smartform to display the second page on particular condition only. But because of it in display I am getting one blank page(extra page) at the end. Which should not appear. How to remove it?

I guess there you must be using window/table/template there. If so try to decrease height of it and check .
just drag up the window/template or table what u r using at last of the form. Only because of it extra space is generated and its taking you to next blank page.

I am creating a smartform having vbeln range option. Now if i give range from 2 to 10 then After Doc NO. 10
i got a blank page . So can u please tell me how to remove that.

hey,
Create a program lines node.....
in that describe the internal table in which you are having the document number.If you are having 10 document number then you will be having 10 pages.... so create program lines befor the command line in the command line just give a flag ok.
when the 10th page is created then the control comes to program line where the pagenumber will be equal to the number of document number there create a flag ( f = 'X') then give this codition in command line.Trigger the command line when ever f NE 'X'.So in the last time new page will not be triggered.

Smartform Comes as Blank Page in mail when run through Chinese Login

Dear Experts,
My smartform contains both english as well as chinese words.
I am mailing the smartform to users(by using Smartform out and control options).
By default The smartform is sent as a PDF attachment in the mail.
This works absolutley fine when I login EN and excute the driver program.
But if I login in ZH and run the driver program I am getting blank pages in PDF in the mail. But the same if I check in sost tcode it is fine.
Could you Please help me on this..?

Do you have Chinse device type like CNSAPWIN orunicode device type like SWINCF or PDFUC defined for langauge ZH in transactions SCOT -> Settings > Device types for Fronmat Conversion?
Also does your Adobe Reader have Chinese language packs installed?

New-page for smartform

Hello all,
I am facing a problem using smartforms. I am printing a report where there is a loop running for a list of plants. For printing the information of each plant, I need to use a new page. Information of one plant may take several pages but for every new plant, I need to insert a page break.
I am using a COMMAND with a checked next page option in my EVENT ON SORT BEGIN for the plant code.
This does the trick, but if I use the command at the bottom, it inserts a blank page at the end of the report. If I use the command at the top of the event, it first shows a blank page and then the data from the 2nd page.
Please sugest how can I fix this.

        You can use following tips for generating smartforms for every new plant.I have generated sales order report using this steps.You can refer it.Tips are given below:
1.Define the structure,workarea and internal table for sales order header and details and also define
select-options for sales order.
2.Also define the one STRUCTURE which has type as ssfctrlop.
e.g. control type ssfctrlop.
     This variable we have to define because we are going to use this in
SSF_OPEN function.This is used to avoid print preview while openning smartform
for every sales order.
3. Select data from vbak for sales header.
4. Call function SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME.
e.g.*CALL FUNCTION 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'

Blank page seen in the print preview ?

Hi all I have deveoped a smartform and created a second page with main window......but the problem is , iam getting a blank page output when i see it in the print preview . suppose if data
is only in two pages iam , i can see the third page with no data...can anyone tel me wats the problem ?

What are the contents in your second page of smartform
do you have any data in second page of smartform
if so check whether the data exists or not
do revert back if any issues

How to supress a blank page in smart forms

Hi,
I am using a command in Smartforms to trigger a new page whenever a new BELNR(Accounting document). My problem is in the output i am getting a first page is blank and remaining pages are ok.
What i did Is In conditions tab i written as temp NE belnr. So first time temp is nothing so blank page is coming. and in the following text elements i am passing a belnr value to the temp.
Temp = belnr and in general attributes go to new page check box has been activated. Then how to supress a blnk page.

I am not using loop.
In main window i have the contents as
Header---- Headers for table
Main Area---- text elements ( i have fileds slno, belnr,glaccount,cost center,gtext,description,dmbtr,wrbtr)
In belnr field i have created the command there i am comparing the condition temp ne Belnr and go to new page on conditions tab
wrbtr text element i am passing the g_temp =belnr
My requirement is whenever new belnr comes new page has to trigger and corresponding gl accounts need to be displayed and end of the belnr i want to display the footer.
For your information passing the belnr values from the print program (select options) to smart form

Look at these things:
<b>check how manty pages you designed.</b>
<b>on each page what you defined in next page box.</b>
suppose you have 2 pages page 1 and page 2.
for page 1 next page shold be page 2.
and for page 2 it should be page 2.
if still you have a problem then download your smartform and send it to me .

Getting One Extra Blank Page

Hi All,
I am printing labels thru smartforms. For eg. my internal tablei have 3 line items
so these 3 should be printed in 3 different labels. And I am getting the correct output also. But after that 3 label prints one extra blank page is coming.
What could be the reason.
I have used loop for the data.
loop - for showing continuous data.
program line - used to calculate number of entries i have in the table. I have already counted the total entry in my print program
and passing it thru Form interface-import parameters.
command line - for explicit page break in the table after each line item.
Kindly guide what could be the reason for this blank page.

If you run a page break after each line, it is normal that a blank page is published at the end. Do not ececute page break on the last record

2 blank page printing in the check need to stop it

Hi,
Can any one please give the solution to stop printing the second page in the form. When I'm trying to print the check in the development box it is printing the check the but it also printing the second blank page which we dont want.

Hello Venkata.
There are 2 reasons for the second page to appear:
1 - the main window doesn't fit the first page
2 - you have a page-break control comand
If it's the first option, you should verify the height of the MAIN window, and the size of the paragraphs you are writing. Verify if there is empty lines.
If it's the second option, the solution it's very easy ... delete that comand.
If you don't need a second page AT ALL, delete it from smartform (it's a check, so you don't need a second page).

How to avoid a blank page at end of the page?

Hi Experts,
I have created a smartform where i need to display the line items based on the customer data.
I have created a command at the end of the loop. For every new customer it has to go to new page. After the completion of the report i'm getting a blank page at the end.
If i take a single customer or multiple customer, I'm getting a blank page at the end. I need to avoid this.
Please let me know the procedure to avoid it.

Try this logic
In the "Initialization" tab of global definitions
DESCRIBE TABLE IT_TAB LINES W_COUNT.
Here IT_TAB contains all the customers
While looping IT_TAB count the records into W_COUNT_CURRENT " Current record count
In the COMMAND give the condition
W_COUNT_CURRENT <> W_COUNT (Go to new page as long as current customer is not the last customer)
For the last customer both variable will be equal and there will not be a new page.
Note that the COMMAND must be at the end of the LOOP for this logic to work
