Blank screen after login screen to Hot Mail, Outlook, Live Mail

Hotmail.com, live.com, login.live.com, mail.live.com and outlook.com allowed in white list. Can get login screen, enter username and password then screen goes blank.

Make sure that you do not block JavaScript.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

Urgent - Blank Page after login

Hello All,
My Portal was running fine in the morning without any problems. Now i've tried to login to the Portal and supplied the User/Password on the Login Screen i can't see anything (a blank page) after that. I have checked the defaultTrace.trc also and found the following message:-
"Error in service call of Portal Component
Component:com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.default
Component class: com.sapportals.portal.navigation.PortalLauncher"
If i make a direct call to any of the component directly that's coming up.

can you redeploy the par file from nwds after getting it from usr directory and straight away configure portal from the window preferences and deploy it as export par option or you can use portal launcher and navigate to security zone under permissions of system configuration apply owner for that user for that component.hope this helps you

CiscoWorks LMS 2.6: Blank page after login

Hi,
CiscoWorks LMS version 2.6 is running on Windows Server 2003. I can load the login page using Internet Explorer. However after login page is blank. I have attached the screenshot(ciscowork.jpg) and pdshow result (pdshow.zip).
Also there is an error for ANI server: Error: Get reply from Server failed. I have also attached the screenshot (ciscoworks2.jpg) as well, log was also extracted (error_log.txt)

Your Services are misconfigured. Post screenshots of the Services control panel showing all of the CiscoWorks services.

LMS 4.1 blank page after login

Hi!
I recently installed LMS 4.1 on a freshly installed W2k8R2 server, and untill last week I had no problems logging on.
For some reason, I'm now getting a blank page after entering my credentials. The URL is like https://lms02/cwportal/c/portal/login
I already rebooted the system, but that made no difference. All Cisco Works services seem to be started, as is Apache/2.2.17.
What am I missing here?

When you change the url to e.g. https://lms02/cwportal/group/lms/lms-monitoring does it work then?
if so you may want to try to clear the cache/history of the browser.

Blank Page after login

Hello Experts,
I have installed Cisco Security Manger with RME 4.2 and Comman Services 3.2. RME database was consuming extra ordinary space in C: Drive, which make C Drive full. so the solution i went is:
I have reinitialize the RME database successfully and after initializing at the login screen after entering the username and password it stuck on the screen attached. .

Sharepoint blank page after login credential

I am trying to troubleshoot one of our employee's issue with their Sharepoint. Basically when he tries to access our sharepoint through his browser by going to https://sharepoint.companyname.com, after he puts his credential in it just displays a blank page
he said. Refreshing page did not work, and so as clearing the cache.
He is trying to access this from his home internet, and I tried to login to my sharepoint at home as well but the page displays just fine. He also said he barely uses it, but he have used it before when he was in the office just fine. He's the only one having
this issue so I know it could be local to his machine or his home network. He was able to display the page just fine before so I'm not too sure what's preventing the page from displaying after correctly inputting his credentials.
I tried researching the web but can't find the exact the same scenario, basically it prompts him to input his credentials just fine but after that it would not display the page. Just keep in mind that it USED to display just fine, not too sure what has change.
Could be his home network? Can you guys help me where to begin troubleshooting thanks.

Hi thanks for the replying. He did not mention to me if he's getting the login prompt three times. I will confirm it's not something to do with his account. Also he said when he login using Firefox he gets a blank page, but when he uses Explorer he gets

Make sure the web address https://sharepoint.companyname.com is correct.
Look for the page with your search engine.
Refresh the page in a few minutes.
Make sure TLS and SSL protocols are enabled. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Settings > Security
TLS and SSL are both enalbed he said. Any thoughts?

Also I have tried to login with his credential on my machine at home, and it works just fine. So its not his account, I guess its localized to his machine or his home network?

i installed Sun Java System Directory Server Enterprise Edition 6.3 ( Zip Distro) in SuSe Linux 10 sp2 (64bit )
and I've deployed DSCC web console in tomcat with following installation guide

Usually restarting Tomcat will help. Do the Tomcat logs have anything of interest?

ACE 4710 Device Manager Gives Blank Screen

Hi Guys,
Wish somebody could share his/her experience on this.
I have a problem with ACE4710 Device Manager that after entering username and password, it will appear just a blank screen. And it happen also to the FT peer.
I know that the workaround is to reload the ACE (as it happened one time before) but I wish somebody could share a better or probably permanent solution to this problem.

Blank page after adding portlet from sample provider

Hi All,
Homepage not appearing after Login, tried adding Sample portlet to HomePage!
I managed to configure and register the JPDK's Sample portlet provider as per the installation instructions.After configuration i tried the URL "http://yourserver/servlets/sample" and i got "Congratulations! You have successfully reached your Provider's Test Page"
Then tried to add a sample portlet (Hellow Worls portlet) to one of the regions of the my homepage using the Navigator.
Now, I'm not able to navigate to the home page after logging in from the portal Welcome page.
I'm just seeing a blank page after login.

Yes. I selected yes to Require Proxy .
But no use. Where i'm doing wrong.
Under Proxy settings in Global seeting i've given the following info.
HTTP Server : alpha
HTTP Server :80
No Proxy Servers for Domains beginning with ALPHA
URL Connection Time-Out (seconds) :0
and in the provider edit page i set Require Proxy to 'YES'

Satellite M50 - Blank screen after login on Win 8.1

Satellite M50 running Win 8.1
After login, get blank screen mouse but nothing else.
Can run Explorer.exe manually via Task manager to get going but some apps such as Acrobat and Windows Mail don't work.
I've searched online and tried all sorts of the suggested fixes to no avail.
Any suggestions gratefully received!

I don't know what is wrong there but you can try to shut down Win8 completely and check repair options. Try with system restore and roll back OS few days back. Maybe this will help.

My mail app quits a few seconds after launching. I get a blank screen and then it goes back to the starter screen

THe mail app on my ipad 2 quits right after launching. This happened as I was forwarding an email with a long attachment. Now I get a blank screen with just the icons, no mail mailboxes etc. after a few seconds that blank screen disappears and we go back to the starter screen. I tried rebooting, relaunching but no luck so far. Can somebody help me? Thanks

Have you tried removing the email account from the app through settings? I would try removing it, rebooting, opening the email app to see if it still crashes, & then adding it back your email account.
If you're leary about causing more issues while you're not home, you could always try using a third party mail app (there are many), accessing your email through it...not a fix for your problem but a way to deal with the situation until you can get it worked out.
Resetting all settings on the iPad (not deleting content) is a good way to clear many errors as it can remove leftover cache files & files that have become corrupt.

Blank Screen after Login

I am having an issue with an iMac that has OS X 10.5.8 installed.
Immediately after login I get a blank wallpapered screen (wallpaper is the same as wallpaper at login) w\ cursor. ...It never goes into the desktop where there is a taskbar and desktop icons. This started happening to a couple of my desktops after I installed ESET NOD32 4.0.12 for Mac (AntiVirus).
Has anyone else seen this issue or know of a fix.

You will have to see if you can start the computer via other means,
in that if you can start in SafeBoot mode, you may be able to be rid
of that anti-virus software. That likely is the problem's main cause.
SafeBoot mode: restart, hold Shift key, until you get log-in screen;
login to get to desktop. From here, you can do a few things, but the
computer is not running at full system usefulness. You may be able
to remove this AV software, or see if it has an Uninstaller; and also
you can repair disk permissions in Disk Utility. Among other tasks.
When done, restart normally. (You could also boot from install disc
and use the menu options to run Disk Utility, and other jobs.)
If the product did not come with an Uninstaller in its software, you
may have to try & remove it by other means. These things will put
more into the computer's OS than just an item in the Utilities or
Applications folder; so an Uninstaller is likely a necessity. There
are a few shareware and free ware uninstallers, such as AppDelete
available online as downloads. If you can't find an Uninstaller in the
software you installed (may be in the app's folder in Mac) you may
have to contact the products customer support and ask how you
are to remove the entire product and its parts from your Mac.
If you are lucky, they may actually know where you could go in and
carefully remove those bits; and luckier still, if there is an uninstaller.

[SOLVED] Blank screen after SLiM login

Hello everyone, I'm very new to Arch as of a few days ago and I have been attempting to set it up in just about all the free time I can spare. I think I've spent about 20 hours total trying to get things up and running.
I am attempting to run Arch with LXDE, openbox, and SLiM. I finally managed to get SLiM up and running where I can login without receiving any errors. However, after I try to login I'm brought to a blank screen. Now.. I'm new to this and have followed all the Knowledge Base Documentation on how to get these three running but I guess apparently I'm missing something somewhere...
Keep in mind I have to type this manually as I do not have any Internet program installed. Maybe if someone can point out my error or make an additional recommendation, that would be great. I really hope I'm not asking too much, even a link to something that may help I would greatly appreciate.
I'm pretty sure it's something stupid I'm missing.. again, I've read through the Knowledge Base Documents numerous times and simply cannot find out what I'm doing wrong (I have the ATI Open Source driver installed).

Just another note. I can see my mouse after I login from SLiM and if I press alt+ctrl with any arrow key I can see the workspaces window pop up.

I made the changes you suggested, now what happens is when I login to SLiM with my end-user, the screen goes black for a moment, then right back to the login screen.
EDIT: changed "--exit-with-session" to "--edit-with-session" in /etc/slim.conf

Is the ~/.xinitrc supposed to be setup like..

or is it simply supposed to be

EDIT 3: Apparently it's "horrible typo day" for me. I had --exit-with-session before. I just typed it wrong in my post. Changed it back.

Satellite L500 - blank blue screen after login to Win 7

Hi
I have this laptop and i can start up the laptop and it loads fine to the login page i then can login but when the screens opens after login it appears as a blank blue screen with the document folder open i have no background picture and no startup menu nothing else except the document folder.
From there i can access my files etc and anything else internet etc everything but i dont know how to get the screen back to normal.
If i go on background display i can see the image that should be on the background and change it but nothing happens on the full screen.
I have no restore point as yet as new laptop for xmas, i do have backup discs but think its just something to do with the display.
If go into files and folders it shows me the icons on the desktop but all i see is this blank screen.
Any ideas please, if not would restore files work or full back up disc

Check this:
Click right on the desktop and choose Personalize.
There you should check the area: Basis design and design with high contrast
Choose Windows 7 basic.
Then reboot the unit.
Usually this should help to get the Windows 7 common design and desktop settings.
But if this will not help then you could use an fast solution which would be a usage of the recovery disk of HDD recovery option.
This would format the HDD and would reinstall everything again
