  • Blank screen and beeping every few seconds

I restarted my iPhone, well, at least tried to do it, and now I can't get it back on! The screen is just blank and thats all! Nothing work, hard-resets and that kind of stuff, nothing. And now, when I charge it, via usb or wall, that does not matter, it beeps. About every 5 seconds! Any advice?

It means that your Mac's memory is damaged > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2538?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
First, replace the memory modules. You can buy more memory at OWC or Crucial. It can also be replace by a reseller.
If it doesn't work, the RAM slots are damaged, so your logic board has to be replaced. It costs more than a half of the price of your MacBook

  • Is it a lemon?? - 2 month old computer with blank screen and beeps.

Help - white screen with slow beep for 4-5 minutes then beep stops and grey folder with question mark appears. Had computer 2 months, apple care said they'd send technician to fix now say no i have to bring it in - 200km, work fulltime, how will it happen.

If it is three beeps on startup that would be a memory problem. Unplug your machine, take the RAM out and reseat it ( should have a little snap when it is in right). Then when you go to restart the machine do a SMC Reset

  • Ipod with a grey screen and beeps

I tired to change cases and when I tired to turn on the ipod, it had a grey screen and beeps twice every two minutes. I need help.

Is the screen suck ON with the gray screen? And reset does not work?
If so, I would disconnect from power and let it sit until it powers OFF by itself. Then try starting it or connecting it to power (if the battery is drained).

    Hello Emmuhhlieee,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

    Display shows a white screen
Try putting the iPod into disk mode:
Reset the device (press the Sleep and Volume Down buttons simultaneously until the display turns black—about eight seconds).
When the display turns black, hold down the Volume Down and Volume Up buttons simultaneously until the device enters Disk mode.
While the device is in disk mode, sync it to iTunes and try to restore.
    Best of luck,
    Mario

  • Ipod nano: white screen and beeping twice

I have an ipod nano 4th or 5th generation. When I try to turn it on, it displays a white screen and beeps twice. I have tried the basic things: toggling the lock switch, holding down select and menu buttons simultaneously, doing that and then holding down the play and select simultaneously. Even restored it. Updated all of my itunes software. Still broken. What next?

    Hi
It seems to be ok now... I had to go out and it ran out of battery, when I switched it back on it  appears to be fine.
If it happens again (hoping that it doesn't!) and i do the reset.. will that remove all the music that's on there?
    Sorry for the ignorance
    Thank you for the answer

  • Dv5 1002nr blank screen n beep code of series of 3 beeps

Hi...I have this dv5 1002nr laptop..upon boot it gives a blank screen and a series of 3 beeps three times..the beep codes I found say its the memory..I tried that to no avail..what would the next step to try..any ideas?

    Hey there, kahlic
I see you laptop is unable to boot and you're getting a beep code of 3 beeps when turning the device on.
You were right in your assessment of this sequence being indicative of a memory problem. However, you say you've attempted some sort of troubleshooting to no avail. What steps did you take to try to solve the issue with the memory?
Did you remove all DIMM modules from the motherboard and replace them one at a time, attempting a boot on each single installation?
If you have not, try this and see how this affects your boot success.
While you're removing the dimm cards, conduct a visual examination of the cards and the seating to make sure there are no cracks, build-up(black substance on the contact surface), or dust. The contacts should be a dull golden color devoid of any dark marks or irregularities.
If reseating your dimms do not solve the issue, you may be required to purchase new memory for your system.
Are you aware of your device's warranty status?

  • My Iphone 4S keeps flashing between the Apple logo, blank screen and sign in.  It will not let me sign in, nor can I power it off.  Help!

My Iphone 4S keeps flashing between the Apple logo, blank screen and sign on screen.  It will not let me sign on or power off.  It started about 20 mins ago.  One of my friends started having the same issue at the same time.  How can I fix this?

    Hi Bucky16,
If you haven't already done so, you may want to reset the iPhone:
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
If the above does not resolve your issue, the next best step will be to restore your iPhone using a computer with iTunes:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software

    Thanks,

  • The application maps is not working. When I try to run it opens for a few seconds with a blank screen and then closes

The application maps is not working. When I try to run it opens for a few seconds with a blank screen and then closes.

Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
