Blank screen, error msg on phones

Phase one of my client website project is done. We reviewed and proofread the production site on my server. I did not design a phone/tablet version yet (that's phase two).
I exported the final files from Muse and uploaded everything to the client's server (Yahoo Hosting). The site looks fine on my computer, but the client says he's not seeing the site on his phone. On my phone, I see an error message and noticed that the URL has changed to dudamobile.clientsite.
However, when I look at the site that's still on my server, I can see the site on my phone just fine.
I skimmed the discussions for problems similar to mine and tried a few things (and re-uploaded all files in the site a few times), but nothing has made a difference.
I am out of ideas beyond having a glass of Merlot and hoping for a solution via this forum!

I just wanted to check and and let you know what the problem was. I did not get a chance to upload the site to BC because I wanted to follow the trail of DudaMobile first. It turns out that Yahoo! had added the DudaMobile service to the client's account (for an extra $9 a month!) and the client had no clue what it was or what it did. When we disabled DudaMobile, the site appeared on smart phones. (Disabliing it requires some digging—you have to go to the "add extras" page and UNcheck the DudaMobile box.)
I still need to create a phone-friendly version of the site, but at least the screen is not blank! Thanks for your help with this.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

IPhoto blank screen error message

iPhoto opens with blank screen and error message "Your iPhoto Library is in use by another application or has become unreadable". Not in use by another application. Tried repairing, doesn't work. Reopened while holding down Option and Command, didn't work. Any suggestions?

Start with the troubleshooting basics:
1. Repair Permissions using Disk Utility
2. Delete the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. You'll need to reset your User options afterwards.
3. Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts) and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account.

Blank screen after pressing the phone icon

Hello everybody
When I press the phone icon in my iphone 5C I get a blank screen for 10 secondes and then the window closed to come back to the home page of the iphone. As a result I did not get access to the phone keyboard neither to the contact list nor the message box. I did a reset of the setting of my iphone but the problem remained. I pressed both the sleep / wake buton together with the home one but it did not work. I switch it off without better result. Anyone get any idea?

Back up your data and restore your software via iTunes or iCloud. If the problem continues, restore as a new device and test. If the problem is solved, there is some kind of corruption in your backup file or maybe it's one of your apps causing problems. If it continues, take it to an Apple Store for evaluation of a possible hardware problem.

Log in screen for Microsft is blank w/error msg

I have the latest updates, that is not the issue. The log in screen for Skype accounts shows up fine but not for Microsoft accounts. IDK what to do and its been pissing me off for ages now. Any suggestions?

Changed rear housing but blank screen / error 1601

The rear housing had started to crack on my 3GS. This caused the power/sleep button to become intermittent so I decided to try and change the housing myself. Everything seemed to go back together fine but the power button still didnt work. I took it apart again, took the button off and just pressed the little button on the ribbon cable. it was still intermittent! during this i managed to snap the little prongs for the home button so now that doesnt work either.
After playing about for a while the screens now gone blank (not black..blank). my comp/itunes (windows 7) recognises the iphone as "in recovery mode and needs to be restored" i tried this but keep getting error 1601. ive followed the apple support pages...uninstalled itunes and reinstalled but nothing. tried running a script which i found to enter DFU mode which didnt do anything but to be honest im not really sure what im doing!
please help, its driving me crazy....

No, but I think there are a lot of very delicate connections and components inside the phone. There is a reason it's not considered user servicable. If you had a problem with a button, and you opened it up and re-assembled it and now the display doesn't work, I'd say there's a good chance that you broke something. Whether you intended to or not.
Maybe you can buy one with a physically broken display from e-bay or something and re-assemble a working phone from the frankenstiened parts.

Occasional blank screen shot when unlocking phone

I have an iPhone 4 with IOS 7. After installing IOS 7, the phone occasionally takes a black "screen shot" photo when I swipe to unlock the phone. It is annoying. Is there a known glitch that causes this, or is there some other fix for this issue?

The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching all the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting all the apps, I recommend restarting your iPhone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

Although the security of Windows XP SP3 32 bit is compromised by Microsoft no longer supporting XP, if Windows XP was restored as claimed, you should still be able to install/uninstall Premiere Elements versions of it that you did before the Microsoft support removal.
I think a revisit to the Geeks would be in order. It may be that they could not restore Windows XP because of the Microsoft non support. I would take along the Premiere Elements installation disks so that you do not leave there without actually seeing Premiere Elements (or a non Adobe program) running on your restored Windows XP. What was the other software that you tried to use that did not work?

Windows Server 2008 Standard 32-bit gives Rundll32.exe error and blank screen on bootup

Last week our file server installed automatic updates and then requested a reboot. After rebooting it repeatedly gave a blue screen and rebooted. After 5 hours on the phone with Microsoft support we all gave up on it with no solution. Later
we were able to get the machine to boot using an old mirrored hard drive of the system drive. We can now access our data drive, however after login we get this error:
Rundll32.exe : Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.You may not have the appropriate permission to access the
item.
and the console just shows a blank screen. We are not able to do anything on the server. I can Ctrl-Alt-Del and bring up Task
Manager and I see that SQL Server is not running, so not all services are running normally.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Based on my research, this issue occurs because the Rundll32.exe file is corrupted. You need to extract a new copy of Rundll32.exe in C:\Windows\System32.
To do this, you can either copy it from another same version of Windows or perform an In-Place Upgrade.

I've had the exact same issue since late last night since I downloaded 10.5
I'm also having problems backing up my iPhone, which I suspect is due to the same issue.
I've tried all recommended solutions on forums and Apple support (deleting backups, restarting phone/computer, disabling/uninstalling third party security software, testing port connectivity) and none of them work.
I will try japiohelp's solution and see if that does anything.

It sounds like you are not able to turn on your phone after your phone was behaving unexpectedly. I recommend resetting the phone in the same manner you had tried before, but rather than pressing them and letting them go, hold them down as outlined in the following article:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
If the issue persists, I would next recommend putting the device into recovery mode, and then restoring the device with iTunes on your computer:
If you can't update or restore your iOS device
If you are not able to do so and continue to get an error about the driver, you should uninstall and then reinstall iTunes on your PC with either of these articles depending on your version of Windows:

Error msg: your sys doesn't have required screen resolution

Just downloaded & installed Presenter 9 trial version on my Win 7 system. My screen resolution only has two available settings, and neither one matches the precise resolution setting that the error msg says my system needs. What do I do?

It is due to the cable that you are using. For DVI, there are 2 main type of cables in the market, DVI-D Single Link & DVI-D Dual Link.

If you are using a DVI-D Single Link cable, the max resolution natively is 3,840 × 2,400 @ 17 Hz, which is unusable under normal usage. The next best max resolution is 1440 × 900 @ 60 Hz which is usable under normal usage.
However, if you are using DVI-D Dual Link cable (not referring to Dual Monitor support here), the max resolution natively is 3,840 × 2,400 @ 33 Hz with GTF blanking, which is also unusable under normal usage. The next best max resolution is 2,560 × 1,600 @ 60 Hz with CVT-RB blanking, which is usable under normal usage.

Blank Screen after factory reset 7911 phone

Hello guys,
I had a weird issue on an 7911 ip phone. It was connected to my network and on the display of the phone was saying "ethernet disconnected".
What i did was a soft and a hard reset using 123456789*0# and then 3497672850*# following the guidelines of a conversation in the forum

After the factory reset the device has a blank screen (I left it for more than an hour connected on the network bearing in mind that some processes might be loading in the background and the firmware will load at some point..that didn't happen) and it is unable to receive an ip address ("show ip dhcp bindings", shows nothing related to the mac address of that device).
To eliminate the possibility that the problem might be on the network card of the phone, i've factory reset a working phone using the above described procedure.
I had the same problem with that phone too.
Are there are any log commands that i can use to further investigate my issue? (I can't see any logs using "terminal monitor"command)
I am using call manager express 4.3.0 on a cisco 2800 router.

I tried what you suggested with no luck.
What i noted is that, when i plug the power adapter on the phone and connect the ethernet cable on the switch port of the phone (the other end goes to a d-link small switch) the light on the small d-link switch doesn't come up. However if i plug the ethernet cable on the pc port of the phone the light goes green. I checked it with two phones that i've factory reset and it is the same problem.
What i understood from this, is that the pc is unable to retrieve an ip from the dhcp server and the necessary option 150 to locate the tftp server and retrieve the necessary firmware.
Gordon, due to the above mentioned problem i can't proceed with wireshark since i don't have network connectivity between the phone and my workstation.
Guys, do you have any alternatives that i can give a try?
