Blank second page when printing duplex (HP8600)

When I click print for duplex printing, the 2nd page prints blank. (HP8600)
If I print a 3 page document, page 2 is blank. The first sheet should include pages 1 and 2 (front and back) and the second sheet should include page 3 (front only). It prints sheet 1 (front only) and sheet 2 (front and back).
I verified in print preview that there is no blank page in my document. They are continuous. Can anyone halp me please?
Also, I notieced that my Adobe pdf docs are printing backwards...page 4,3,2,1 instead of pages 1,2,3,4.

There should be a setting (collated, last page first, or something like that) you need to change to have it come out the way you want.

Any way to remove extra blank "separator" pages when printing in Numbers?

Hello, I've just started using Numbers '09 and noticed that for each page I have, there is an extra blank "separator" page that is added. Last night, I started a spreadsheet using one of the templates, and it's only 2 pages long, but it states on the sidebar that it's 4 pages. Those extra blank pages are only seen when you do a Print Preview. Is there a way to remove or disable these extra blank pages?
I don't want those blank pages to print, especially when there are multiple sheets within the file with those blank pages mixed in-between. Plus, I send the file to others to reference too and would like them to be able to print the pages seamlessly without having to remove any blank separator pages that are printed in-between. Seems like there should be an easy remedy to this, but so far, haven't been able to find the solution. Thanks for your help!

Hi,
Unlike other spreadsheet programs, Numbers doesn't have wall-to-wall tables. Tables have a finite size and wherever there is a table a page will print, whether there is content in the cells on that page or not. To prevent the sheets without content from printing, you need just reduce the size of the tables to what you actually are using. If you select a cell in your table and scroll to the lower right corner of the table, you will find a large handle that when dragged will change the number of Rows and Columns. Drag the handle up and to the left until it encounters content. It will stop there on its own.
Now go to the Print View mode: View > Show Print View. You will see all the pages with content and adjacent non-printing pages will be grayed-out.

I have a large layout whose main-section is 8.5x20 (Width&height) which has 2 frames each having 2 repeating frames and about 20 fields in each repeating frame. When I run the report it shows the report right, but when I print, it prints only the first half since the report is long. When I change the property of the second frame of 'Page break before' to 'yes' it prints the second frame on the second page but print it at the same position as it printed on the first, and top of second page is all blank. How do I make to print from the beginning of the second page. Need your help.

Most of the times, these problem are solved by "enclosing" the "Repeating frames" in frames with "Vertical Eleasticity" set to "Variable"

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe you need Acrobat Pro for that.

Turns out to be an iPhone 4 problem. I went to a store and they replaced it. No problems now. My wife's iPhone 4 also had to be replaced which is disturbing. We had the original iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS without issue. This iPhone is not that good. It was emphasized to me the other day when I used a Razor in my house and found the voice quality infinitely superior and worked in places where my iPhone 4 failed completely (all on AT&T).
People on the other end of calls with the Razor commented that my voice sounded much better and asked what had I done (they were used to the calls made with the iPhone).
I am afraid I think that the iPhone 4 is not all it is cracked up to be. For phone use the Razor beats it hands down. Now, when it comes to email etc. the iPhone is infinitely superior but as a phone it is certainly not as good as it could be.
I am afraid that Apple may have lost the magic recipe and, if I had not gone past the return date, the iPhone 4 would be going back.

Blank pages when printing to laserjet pro 200 color MFP M276nw

When printing to my Laserjet pro 200 color MFP M276nw, the pages are all blank. I have tried turning the printer off and tried unplugging and replugging. That didn't help. Pages are still blank. Any suggestions?

HT4356 Blank page when printing from email

I just got and set up Epson NX 430. It is AirPrint printer and is printing from both iPhone and iPad.
Seems to be fine except when printing except from email. Then it always feeds a blank page first then prints the email. I can't figure out how to stop it from feeding blank page.
I contacted Epson and they say it is an AirPrint issue and I have to contact Apple for that.
Anyone else having same issue and any ideas of how to fix or stop the blank page?

In the Print dialog, select Open PDF in Preview from the PDF menu in the lower left corner. Is the print preview blank?

After my Modzilla update print jobs only have a blank gray page when looked at in preview and blank when printed

I accepted a update from Modzilla yesterday. After which I had no print abilities. In the preview area it is just blank and when printed the pages are just blank. I had to go back to Internet Explorer to print my work-- it printed fine so it isn't the printer.

I am using a HP officejet 4500 wireless printer. For every page I print it is followed by a blank page. Any thoughts about what I might do to correct this problem?

Pixma MX922 pulling in multiple pages when printing

MX922 - couple weeks old. Has been functioning fine in excellent photo printing.
But, when page printing on premium grade paper ( 20 or 24lb) the printer has the very annoying tendency to grab up 2 or more pages at the same time.
Paper is fanned ( fluffed up) before inserting into the tray and squared up
Paper tray is properly adjusted.
Tray is properly inserted.
Will print fine and then will drag in 2 or more pages in. Print a couple fine and then 3 pages get drawn in. I pull out the tray and check the paper and I see no issues. Have removed the paper and fan it and hope for the best.
This is really annoying when doing duplex printing let alone on single sided.
I have now tried this with 3 different brands of name brand paper.
Scanned this forum and haven't seen any similar reports.
Just ocurred again when trying to print 17 pages 2 paged and 3 pieces were drawn in.
Suggestions? Ideas?
A great printer otherwise.

Is your paper measured in g/m2? If so, we recommend the paper be between 64 to 105 g/m2. This measurement is much more reliable for determining your paper compatibility (especially with thicker paper). Additionally, it may help to perform a roller cleaning on your printer. Cp 1700 skipping pages when printing

I do not know if the problem comes from MS Excel or a printer issue but, when I go to print a multiple page spread sheet the first page prints and the rest are blank.
Sometimes, but not on every skipped page I will get a page number printed.
Help.

I see that you are having some issues with the printer skipping lines when attempting to print.

Once you have completed the steps in the document, try doing a stand alone Copy and see if you have the same results. If the issue is resolved when doing a Copy, then try printing from the computer. If the issue reappears when printing from the computer, then this could be an issue with the software or a possible interruption from a Windows Firewall or Anti Virus program.

30 to 40 second delay when printing a PDF

I have a PC running XP Pro- after a recent trip to the repair shop for a failed hard drive I am now experiencing a 30 to 40 second delay when trying to print pdf's. When I have a pdf open I click on the printer icon and then wait 30 or more seconds for the print window to open to select how many copies etc... after it opens I select print and then another 10 to 15 second delay before printing.
I was advised to go to the advanced on the print page and select to print as Image. This has not helped.
I have reinstalled the latest Adobe Reader as well as reinstalled printer. Nothing has helped.
Word documents print perfectly.
Any help would be appreciated -wasting lots of time at work!

I have a similar issue and have up to date drivers. Printing from other programs (eg word/excel and all my other software!) is "instant". The delay within Adobe Reader is only for the first document of the day. This issue has persisted from v9 to v X that I am currently using. I have uninstalled and re-installed Reader with no chnage.C'mon Adobe ... there must be a fix for this! For info I am running a Win7Pro w/s on a SBS2003 network, one printer is attached to the w/s by USB, the other printer is a network resource.
