Blank Target Size Specifications

I have the need to open a small blank target link to the size
of 220 x 155. I cannot figure out how to set the blank target size.
For now, it opens up in a large window and I need the window to fit
to the exact size. Please help this was due 2 hours ago.
How do I set the size to fit the image of the blank target
link instead of a large window with white in the back of it?

Blank Target Build Settings

hello folks,
I have some knowleadge with the MPC555 processor in the MatLab RealTime Workshop -- but iam currently trying to get into the embedded Modules for LabView.
I will try to build a little vi (something like a+b=c) within a "Blank Target - Template". Once thats done i need to configure the Build Specifications to incorporate with my Compiler, Linker and so on -- i hope that will bring me to some sort of flash or ram imagefile.
but the "Build Specifications"-Window doesn´t fully display all entry fields -- see the picture.
* do i need those fields?
* what are they used for?
* any workaround known?
I will happy for all hints on that
iam using Labview 8.5, a MPC555 will be my target (so the Codewarrior is the Compiler)

Hi Arne,
One option is to open the dialog plug-in VI and scrolldown on the front panel a little, then save the VI. This will change what you see in the build specifications window.
Another option: Create another build specification Category page using the Target Editor. If you plan to add several configuration options, this step would probably be best.

How do I target a specific frame of an .swf from an HTML document

I am creating a site half of the site if Flash application and the other half is HTML based, I can link to the HTML pages from by Flash site, but I can't seem to find out how to target a specific withing my Flash site from the HTML, no matter what I do it only links to the 1st frame of the .swf. Can somebody help me please.
I am using AS2 for the flash portion and Dreamwaver CS3 for the HTML (or CSS).

If you're using Flash or Swishmax, the workflow would go something like this:
Copy your original work file. Delete portions you don't need. Save as project 1. Export as project1.swf.
Open original work file. Delete other portions you don't need. Save as project 2. Export as project2.swf, and so on.

Mail Merge script to replace any blank fields with specific text

In InDesign Mail Merge I would like to replace any blank fields with specific text. For example if we have four fields (A, B, C & D) to merge, and field A is blank, it would insert field C.
In essence leaving no blank fields but replacing a blank field with another specific field.
I have read that inDesign does have Mail Merge limitations but if there is a script that we could run that would solve our problem.
Please let me know if you can help?

I take from the lack of response it is not possible to do this in InDesign.

How to target a specific webapp item

Hi all,
Can I target a specific webapp item? Forexample I have a content holder that has three places for news information, but the css is slightly different on the last two items. So my two thoughts are to eith specifically target webapp items (ie date) in the three css areas or can/should I do this using a backup list for the last 2 items? I want them to display newest to oldest. Will using a backup list keep my date sorting the same or will it start it over again? Is there a way to tell BC to always display the second latest and then thrid latest item (like you can with the latest item)?

Well there is lots of ways you can do this depending on the exact things you want to do.
You have {tag_itemid} you can use to form unique classes, You got {tag_counter} on list view that you can use to render something like ns-1,ns-2,ns-3 etc to target with your CSS.
You got :first-child and :last-child in CSS you can use and you also have nth child in css as well.

Calculating Compressor Target Size

I'm trying to compress a 94 minute 720 x 480, 29.97 video with an in-camera, 16x9 anamorphic squeeze applied, into a 100Mb web server upload slot using Compressor. Quality is not the overriding factor, but what would the target rate/calculation be for fitting this 1.777 aspect ratio movie into the available web upload spot? A 320 x 180, H.264 scaled frame(1.777) @15ps is about the lowest size I would like to go down to, but all preset batches out of compressor come in at over 200Mb and lengthy, custom trial and error batches produce weird artifacting. Is there an exact formula to compute an optimal final target size, given frame size, rate and codec? Thank You for your help.

Mail Rules: targeting a specific mailbox folder

Is there a way I can target a specific mailbox folder in rules versus just an account? For example if I want to make a rule that and mail entering my gmail trash folder be moved to On My Mac trash, is this possible? Trying to avoid problems with All Mail and smart mailboxes.

Trunk mode vlan to a VM with 8 vNIC's - targetting one specific vNIC

I've popped a question into the Powerhsell forum this morning, and realised it may have been more suitable in Hyper-V section due to the nature of the question. Apologies if dual posting is not the done thing.

Essentially, my question is around a VM that currently has 8 x vNIC's, but needs to communicate over 9 x vlans at present. I have attempted the following command in a test environment, but I can't see how this would comms over a specific vNIC; it looks like
its a global command to the target VM:
Set-VMNetworkAdapterVlan -VMName test1 -Trunk -AllowedVlanIdList "1-5" -NativeVlanId 6
Is there a way to target a specific vNIC on a VM with the above command at all, or is there a better way to enable trunk mode to the intended VM please?

Thanks - your reply got me thinking a little more about this, and I found another article (which was also a reply from yourself when someone asked about how you rename a network adaptor when every adaptor is called "Network Adapter"),
that lead to a working command for what I would like to achieve.
So, here is my working command now:
Get-VMNetworkAdapter -VMName test2 | Where-Object -Property MacAddress -eq "000000000098" | Set-VMNetworkAdapterVlan -Trunk -AllowedVlanIdList "2214-2217" -NativeVlanId 22
Upon running Get-VMNetworkAdapterVlan I can see how the various adaptors are now configured:
test2                    Network Adapter               Untagged
test2                    Network Adapter               Untagged
test2                    Network Adapter               Trunk    22,2214-2217
test2                    Network Adapter               Untagged
I appreciate my command may not be pretty, but it completes successfully in my lab in terms of applying the settings. Is there any obvious problems that you can see with the above?
Lastly, the reason for the vlans in this way is because the server is NetBackup Master Server, and needs comms over all the relevant vlans. I'm intending on configuring a secondary interface through the teaming GUI in Server 2012, and specifying vlan ID's
there.

Yes, with the OpenBrowserWindow behavior.

No. You have to link to a SWF file that grabs the FLV file, I
believe. And
you would do that in DW by using the INSERT | Media >
Flash Video option.

When using the Pages > Insert Blank Page command, is it possible to specify the page dimensions of the new page?

I meant a custom toolbar button, not one that you'd place on a page.

You could modify it to add your own page sizes and add a new menu item that adds a page to an existing document.

Drop target size/orientation with skinned List changed from 4.0 to 4.5

I have a project that we recently moved from Flex/Flash Builder 4 to 4.5. We have a skinned list with a horizontal orientation with the items in the list skinned with a button skin. The user is allowed to drag buttons from a list of available items into another list of items they want. When compiled in 4 with the 4.1 SDK, the drop area was the entire list area on the screen (it will hold about 5 of the buttons). In 4.5, the drop area is only the width of 1 button, and appears to go down vertically instead of to the right horizontally. If I extend the size of the list vertically, I can drop in any vertical position below the 'first' position, but cannot go to the right of the first position to drop.
It appears that whatever is computing the drop target area for the list is not honoring the layout of the list - it appears to always set up the drop area vertically.
Again, all of this worked as expected in 4.1, it is only after compiling in 4.5 that this started.
In addition, I had to add a call to event.stopImmediatePropagation() in the drop event handler, or else the item was added to the 'I want this' list 2x - I'm guessing 1x in my handler, and 1 additional time in a new 'automatic' drop handler for spark lists.
Any idea how to fix the drop area? It is very annoying for the users.

Never mind, found the problem.
In our application, we also added a new menu and navigation bar. The navigation bar has a 'history' panel that when you click on it, it 'swings down' and the user can click prior navigation points to return to. This history panel, even though hidden with 'visible = false', was still blocking the drop area. We had to set the history panel 'enabled = false' as well as 'visible = false' when it is not on the screen. Once this was changed, it quit blocking the drop area. I found it when testing a different drag target that also fell under the 'history panel' area.

Stroke scales when targeting a specific fill with "~" key in CC (17.1)

I often transform a specific fill within an object appearance by holding "~" while scaling, rotating, etc. I find, in CC the object stroke is scaled even though it is not targeted in the Appearance panel. This is now how CS5 works. If the stroke is not selected it should be ignored when scaling a given fill pattern.

Looks like there is a shortage of space. Analyse the dump in ST22 and look for its proposals.

Filling in the Blanks - Formula for "specific" fill of blank cells

I am still in the midst of my super extended spreadsheet project and I have come across one more issue that I am sure has an easy solution (using a formula). What I have is a table like this:

You can do this using a simple formula.
To fill column B, for example, enter this in B2:
=B1
Click Accept, then drag the handle at the bottom right of B2 down to fill the rest of column B.
When you enter data in any cell in column B, the entered date will replace the formula in that cell, and the formulas in the cells below will copy the entered data into every cell below until blocked by the next cell filled with entered data.

Is there a way to set target size in Compressor

I know this may be too general of a question, but i'd really like to find a way to set the size of a compressed file. I have to upload videos to and online host server and my max is 1.5 GB. right now i have to fool around and try different codecs to see how big they are and sometimes i have 20-30 minute videos. and it's pretty poor work flow to wait an hour to encode only to find out that it's way tpp small or way too big.
also any suggestions on which codec i should use to upload videos from 15 seconds to 30 minutes with a 1.5 GB size cap would be great

I'll answer your first question first.
Best codec for quality is H.264, one good settings folder is the following:
Settings tab>Apple>Other workflows>Web>QT7 compatible>Pick your H.264 setting (For flv you'll need a third party plugin or software).
You want to know how big your file is going to be before encoding?
Choose your setting. Set your preferred bit rate then in Inspector window click on the "summary" button (first from left before the encoder button).
Look carefully through the listed info, there you'll find out what the estimated file size is. If you change bit rate again the estimated size will change too.

My problem is that I cannot specify the dst IP in the event action override.
So my only choice was:
event action override: if RR > 85 block
but this makes block if attack is against ANY host, not MailSrv only.

Are you already using value target rating for your Mail server?
If you not, then assign a critical host value, doing that will rise the risk rating and fire the block action.
The other targets will have a RR < 85.
Remember the RR depend of 3 parameters, Severity of the alarm, fidelity value and VALUE TARGET RATING
