Blank vertical spacing too large
In the process of creating a website and unable to shorten
the gap between an h2 and new line. Can someone please advise. To
see what I'm talking about:
http://www.waynebsmithinc.com/barge/index.html.
I want the bulleted text directly under the headings, without the
large gap. Can this be done and if so, how? Thanks,
Your h2 has a bottom margin of 20 px, your ul has a top
margin of 16px. Set
the ul top margin to 0 and then reduce the h2 bottom margin
as needed.

Disk Utility: Creating a new blank image receiving "file too large" error.
Hello All!
I'm trying to create a 10GB non-encrypted, non-compressed RW blank image via the disk utility. The DU runs for a few minutes then barfs out "file too large" error. I have over 30GB free on my HDD. I tried with a smaller size of 6GB to no avail. Also tried unsuccessfully to create from a file (about 4 GB). My ultimate goal is to create a case-insensitive image to run an extremely important program needed for high priority work productivity (i.e. WoW). Thanks in advance for any advice! You will be my new best friend if you help me resolve this. =D

Thankshi sony,
one way to go about this is to increase the "Size Restriction for Result Sets". This is pretty tricky. I wouldn't really recommend this since this can have performance issues.
you can increase the size for result sets by running the abap report SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN , Again be carefull when you are doing this.
Follow the below steps.
1) Transaction Code SA38 or SE38
2) In the program field, enter the report name SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN and choose Execute.
3) For OBJECT, enter one of the following parameters;
BICS_DA_RESULT_SET_LIMIT_DEF
BICS_DA_RESULT_SET_LIMIT_MAX
For VALUE, enter the value for the size of the result set, and then execute the program:
Also, for your information, the default setting for the result set of Web applications is 500,000 cells. If the result set exceeds the size specified using the report, a message is displayed to inform the user.
I would again ask you to be careful when you are modifying these values.
Best would be to make sure that you check the table RSADMIN, whether you have the above entries (BICS_*), if you don't u can update these entries in the system. via the above said abap report.
Hope this helps.

Sree.

I am trying to convert a video into a dVd i did one and it will not play on my blueray, but, at least it will do on my computer. Now i am trying to do a different dvd and it tells me after i have downlowed my new project, that i cannot burn the idvd because it is too large check my encoded?
The reason why your DVD will not play maybe your choice of disk.
Was it a DVD + or DVD - ?
Always use a good quality DVD blank disk, at least Verbatim and check what format your player will play.
Next, to achieve the best quality export from iMovie, Share your Project to Media Browser.
Then open iDVD and use the media button (bottom right) to import your movie.
A possible reason that you are getting a too large error message is the time length of your DVD.
The default setting in iDVD for Encoding is Best Performance (60mins) and you need to change this to either High Qualirty or Professional Quality which will allow more to be encoded on the disc (120 mins).
iDVD > Project > Project Info > Encoding to change this setting and see on the Capacity slider if your project will fit.
Otherwise check how much free space you have on your HD.
Z.
PS Slow your burn speed down to x4 for error free results. -
Vertical spacing out of wack in IE, but perfect in Safari?
I have newbie question about vertical spacing in the frame
based design of the site I am working on. I did not design the
website but I was just asked to take over the basic updating and
maintenance of the content.
www.brainoptimization.com
When I view my site in IE or Safari for Windows it looks just
the way it is supposed to.
But when viewed in Internet Explorer for windows the vertical
spacing in the left column (as well as the spacing between the
first 5 paragraps in the right column) is completely out of whack!
IE for win puts huge chucks of space between the cells where none
was put. Any idea what is going on and how I can correct this
issue? I am using Dreamweaver 8 on a mac. Any help would be
appreciated. Thank you.
Cheers. Not sure how that page would look perfect in any browser
truthfully :-)
In Firefox there are huge pages in the left column. That
mosaic picture is
about halfway down the page. The styling of the paragraphs is
all over the
place because nearly every paragraph on the page has a new
style applied to
it. From the code I can see well over 100 'styles' ....
someone has really
overdone the use of creating new styles - or using the
property inspector to
create new styles for each paragaph. There are numerous empty
cells with
the table structure, many colspans etc., that make for a very
fragile page
indeed - hence the reason for it not working cross
browser/platform.
In all honesty, I would start over - it looks like a simple 2
column
structure and shouldn't be a problem with getting it to
display correctly in
*every* browser :) Sorry for the bad news.
One thing you can try first off at least (I haven't looked at
the code too
much after seeing all those styles)., place the mouse cursor
into the left
column and in the property inspector set the vertical
alignment to 'top'.,
maybe that will move the contents of that left column to the
top rather than
half way down the page... may or may not work - depending on
whether those
colspans get in the way.

Uploading flash, how much is too large?
Hi, I am trying to create a web site suing adobe Dreamweaver and flash, for the first time.
I am trying to upload a webpage that contains swf.
When I check mu site I could only see a blank page with the webpage title at the top of the page.
When I contacted the webhosting company they say they can see the message that a newer version of adobe flash player is required.
From my computer I cannot even see the message.
The helpdesk person said there are possibly two reasons for it. Either there is a problem with the code in flash or it is too large.
The size of files I uploaded as follows:
HTML: 4KB
Scripts: 37 KB
(The size of swf is 29KB which I did not upload)
Are they too large to upload? If so, what is the maximum size of file can I upload on a webpage?
I know they are basic questions but I am trying to create website on my own.
I would appreciate some friendly advice. If the html page is supposed to contain the Flash file, then you need to uploadc the Flash file (swf). html pages are simply text files that define content. If any of that content happens to be another file, such as an image or sound or swf file, then you need to also upload those files.

Crystal Reports 9: Page Header plus Page Footer is too large for the page.
Hi,
I have a report that has the following sections.
GH1
GH2a
GH2b - has a sub report
GH2c - has another sub report
GH3
GH4
GH5
details - suppressed
GF5 - suppressed
GF4 - suppressed
GF3 - suppressed
GF2 - suppressed
GF1 - suppressed
The report works fine wehn I run it using Crystal Designer.I am using CR version 9.2.2.693.
When I try to load the report in my application, I get the following error.
Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer
Page Header plus Page Footer is too large for the page.Error in File rptName.rpt:
Page header or footer longer than a page.
OK
There are no 'suppress blank sections' option set in the sections where the sub-Reports are.
I also tried setting the No Default Printer option.
The report gets loaded from the application only when I set 'New Page after' in the sections where there are sub-Reports.
I do not want to do this; Is there a workaround?
Thank you.Can someone tell me if this problem is being worked on as it looks as thogh none of the problems regarding the message u2018Page Header plus Page Footer is too large for the pageu2019 have been addressed.
We have several reports that were written in Crystal 7 (I think) and worked in Crystal 9 and X1R2 but now give the above error. We have tried jigging the report in line with the various suggestions but at best can get them to run through successfully with one lot of data and then fail on the second or subsequent pages when you vary the data or report format even slightly. We can report on every bit of data separately or in various combinations but not in others. Changing the bottom page margin by 0.01 cm can cause it to fail on page 7 instead of page 530 (for example). We certainly do not have large page headers (just over 2cm) or page footers (about 0.3cm). We do have some subreports in the details section but have used 'fit to section', added 'keep together', removed u2018keep togetheru2019 from just about everything we can (in desperation) but to no avail. We cannot see a pattern to what is happening. It would be encouraging to know that someone is actually working on this fault. -

I have two (2) HP S2031 LCD flat screen monitors. They functioned perfectly with my old 32-bit machine (now gone). I have just purchased a new 64-bit Windows 7 machine. There are no error messages, but if I open a web page on the right (2nd) monitor, it does not display correctly. It's as if it is a little too large. I've tried adjusting the image using the Nividia software and using the monitor adjustments without improvement. It is difficult getting out of that window because no scroll bars (vertical or horizontal) present themselves. I am connecting through an iogear MiniView KVM switch to DVi-D sockets (with the four pins).
Is it a 64-bit driver issue? I think not, because display #1 looks fine. Could it be an iogear KVM firmware issue?
I dug out the HP driver disks that came with my monitors and installed them. After I did that, I realized these were a 32-bit installation. Now the monitor resolution won't go back to the higher, recommended level. I don't see the software installation on the "add/remove programs" listing. I'd like to change that.
BUT THE REAL ISSUE is that I need BOTH monitors to be able to display proper aspect independently. Remember, I've been through both the Nividia adjustments menu and the built-in monitor adjustments menu and found nothing that worked so far.
Please help if you can. This is for my trading business and I need it desperately. When requesting assistance, please provide the brand and model name and/or product number of the computer in question. Without this information, it may be difficult or impossible to resolve your issue.
Have you swapped the two monitors to see if the problem follows the monitor or remains at the same location??? Try that first... if the problem follows the monitor, perform a hard reset by unpluging the monitor from power then holding the power button for 30 seconds. If the problem stays in the same location, you know both monitors are good and I would suspect the KVM isn't passing the "EDID" data to the computer. Removing the KVM should will tell you if this is the case.
Please post back with your troubleshooting results.
Please send KUDOs

Backing up issues....the file is too large
I have a computer with a CD Burner. Im trying to do a backup of my Itunes purchases and i put a blank cd-r disk in and i get the error that reads something like "the file is too large for the disk, please insert a disk that..." I have tried deselecting and deleting my video's, movies, etc from my purchased list and it still wont back up and i get the same error. I dont even
get the option to insert multiple disks as the last time i backed up it took up 7 disks. Im thinking its probably trying to backup my videos, probably and without a dvd burner its not able to...can i just get it to back up my songs only or what else can I do without deleting my videos from ITUNES all together?
Thanks! So now that you have repeated the same thing three times that doesn't make things any clearer at all.
You are copying files from where to where?
How are you attempting to copy files, software or click and drag?
Any other detail would be helpful.

Netware 6 Capture.exe too large for DOS apps.
I am about to upgrade to Netware 6.0 from Netware 3.12 but my tests have
shown that an old DOS application that we use, cannot run the Capture.exe
program shipped with Netware 6.0 because it is too big. The Program calls
batch jobs which execute the Capture program but it fails due to lack of
memory. I have tried using the Capture.exe program from the Netware 3.12
server but for some reason this only works for the admin user account??.
If the program is run using a normal user account, it just echo's a blank
line? If anyone knows of a small 3rd party capture program or any other
solution to this problem, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks. You also failed to mention the client OS.
The Too Large error seems odd.
http://www.pcounter.com/dosprint.html is a good alternate tool if you can't get
login scripts working.

Can't burn DVD, file too large?
I downloaded a movie to my hard drive using Drive-In. I am now trying to burn the movie file onto a blank disk but keep getting this error message: "DVD is too large to fit on the disk. Remove some files and try again." Now the file size is 44KB, the disk can hold 4.7GB. Can anyone make sense of this? I opened a burn folder and dragged the movie file into it, do I need to do something else to the file or am I doing it the wrong way? Thanks in advance. Boston
"Drive-in preserves the DVD’s original content protection. Drive-in allows you to play your images on any computer that you own but does not allow you to share your images with others." from Flip4Mac Drive-In web site.
You can not burn that file.

Vi alertlog -- tmp file too large
Hi,
when I try to take a look at alertlog.
It says tmp file too large.
is it something to do with /tmp space?
how can i see the content, its about 3G now

Thanks sb, it work'd....just my mind is blank for silly things... :)Please be aware that there have been cases reported on this forum where people have lost so much of their db that the only record of their init parms is what is recorded in the alert log at startup. Rather that blowing away everything except the last 500 lines (which could easily be not far enough back to include the most recent startup, I'd suggest a regular routing of renaming the existing alert log to some backup name. I'd want to keep at least enough alert log history to go back to the most recent TWO startups.

What is up with my vertical spacing?
I can't figure out why my vertical spacing in my left side column is off. No matter what I do, all the elements want to spread themselves and I want them to be towards the top. I'd appreciate it if someone could look at this site for me and maybe offer some insight as to what I'm doing wrong here. The URL is http://www.agrabest.com. The index page is not as much of a problem as the subsequent pages, simply because of the page length, I believe. Thanks so much for any help!
I have recreted a table for you that contains the content from you broccoli page as an example You do not need a table cell to cneter protions of an individual cell - you can use a di, in this case with a class="ctr", and add this to yoru css :

I have not attempted to do this precisely matching yorus. But it does let you see how to do this without nexting lots of tables or using lots of table cells:

BW Web Report Issue - Result set too large
Hi,
When I execute a BEx Query on Web I am getting “Result set too large ; data retrieval restricted by configuration (maximum = 500000 cells)”.
Following to my search in SDN I understood we can remove this restriction either across the BW system globally or for a specific query at WAD template.
In my 7x Web template I am trying to increase default max no of rows parameters, As per the below inputs from SAP Note: 1127156.
But I can’t find parameter “Size Restriction for Result Sets” for any of the web items (Analysis/Web Template properties/Data Provider properties)….in the WAD Web template
Please advise where/how can I locate the properites
Instructions provided in SAP Note…
The following steps describe how to change the "safety belt" for Query Views:
1. Use the context menu Properties / Data Provider in a BEx Web Application to maintain the "safety belt" for a Query View.
2. Choose the register "Size Restriction for Result Sets".
3. Choose an entry from the dropdown box to specify the maximum number of cells for the result set.
The following values are available:
o Maximum Number
o Default Number
o Custom-Defined Number
Behind "Maximum Number" and "Default Number" you can find the current numbers defined in the customizing table RSADMIN (see below).
4. Save the Query View and use it in another Web Template.
Thanks in advanceHi Yasemin,
Thanks for all help...i was off couple of days.
To activate it I can suggest to create a dummy template, add your query in it, add a menu bar component add an action to save the query view. Then you run the template and change the size restriction for result set then you can save it by the menu.
Can you please elaborate on the solution provided,I created dummy template with analysis and Menu bar item...i couldn't able to configure menu bar item...
Thanks in advance
