Blauer Himmel Werkzeug in Photoshop Elements 12?

Hallo zusammen,
ich hätte eine Frage an die Experten hier, gibt es in Photoshop Elements 12 das in früheren Versionen als "Blauer Himmel Werkzeug" beschriebene Feature noch oder muss das in der neuen Version anders realisiert werden?
Vielleicht hat ja jemand von euch Informationen oder Tipps?

Hallo, ich habe es auch längere Zeit gesucht. Also es ist im Expertenmodus, in der Werkzeugleiste unter "Verbessern" (unter dem Rote-Augen-Symbol), dort den dicken blauen Pinsel anklicken, er heißt Smartpinsel. Wenn man den klickt, kommen alle möglichen Optionen, unter anderem unter "Universal" die Möglichkeit den Himmel zu verbessern mit einigen einfachen Klicks. Viele Grüße und viel Spaß.

Möchte mit Zauberstab blauen Himmel auf andere Bilder übertragen. Die Hilfe, die die Programmhilfe anbietet funktioniert nicht. Außerdem weichen die Erklärungen für die Zeichen in der Hilfegrafik von denen im Programm ab. Nach Stunden vergeblicher Versuche bitte ich hier um Hilfestellung.

Danke, daß Sie sich zu meinem Problem geäußert haben. Meine Unkenntnis bzw. die Unpräzision meines Textes ist darauf zurückzuführen, daß ich 74 Jahre alt bin, mir alles im Umgang mit einem Computer selbst aneignen mußte und nun ein Bildbearbeitungsprogramm erstmalig nutze. In einem solchen Fall steht man davor wie ein Ochse vorm Berg, denn es gibt der Möglichkeiten zuviele. Da den Programmen keine Anwendungsbücher mehr beigefügt werden in die man sich einlesen kann, ist man auf die Internethilfen des Programms angewiesen. Wenn dann aber schon im Programm die Buttons des Zauberstabs anders in der Funktion benannt werden als diese im Programm selbst gekennzeichnet sind und die Erklärungen dazu (weil meist Übersetzungen ins deutsche) mehr als mangelhaft sind, und eher verwirren als wirklich erklären, dann kann man schon als Anwender mit den Voraussetzungen, die bei mir gegeben sind, echt verzweifeln und ist auf die Hilfestellung freundlicher
Mitmenschen angewiesen, weil die Servicestelle von Adobe den Anwender abschaltet und im Regen stehen läßt.
Was will ich?
Ich will den Himmel mit einer bestimmten Abendstimmung auf Bilder, die ich in Folge stelle - in einem Videobearbeitungsprogramm - zuvor so bearbeiten, daß die Abendstimmung auf allen Bildern die gleiche ist. Die Aufnahmen, die ich vor Ort zur selben Zeit gemacht habe - mit dem Licht bzw. bei Gegenlicht - weisen sehr unterschiedlich beleuchtete Himmel auf. Das möchte ich angleichen und weiß nicht wie.
Ich hoffe, Sie nicht mit meinen Ausführungen genervt zu haben und bin Ihnen für jede Hilfestellung dankbar.

In photoshop elements gibt es kein Werkzeug Ausstecher so wie in der 11er version.

ich arbeite jetzt mit photoshop elements 12. Ich vermisse das Werkzeug Ausstecher so wie in der 11er version, wo ich es auch händeln konnte. Dies gelingt mir nicht in der 12er version. vielleicht kann mir jemand genaue erklären, wie man in der 12er version das Ausstecherwerkzeug benützt. vielen Dank im voraus.

Photoshop Elements. Skalierungsfenster verschwindet am Oberrand

In meinem (älteren) Photoshop Elements, das ich unter XP fahre, ist das Skalierungsfenster immer weiter nach oben gewandert, so dass jetzt die Breite nicht mehr eingegeben werden kann. Wie bekomme ich das Fenster wieder runter? In einem früheren Posting wurde in einem ähnlichen Fall empfohlen, Photoshop unter drücken der Tasten Shift+Wahl+Befehl neu zu starten und so die Einstellungen zu löschen. Shift-Taste ist klar, Befehl wird Comand sein aber was um Himmels willen ist die Wahl-Taste? Mit Control habe ich es erfolglos versucht. Oder weiß jemand eine andere Lösung? Vielen Dank.

vielleicht lässt sich die Sache ja auch mit Hilfe der Bildschirmjustierung lösen (Auto --> Justierung --> die Bildschirmeinstellung ändert sich dann selbsttätig).
Ausserdem könnte auch ein "Spielen" mit der Darstellungsgrösse des Programmes (s. Pfeile rechts) helfen.
Mit Entfernen und erneut starten der shortcutleiste (Pfeil links) muss sich der Bildschirm ebenfalls komplett neu orientieren.

Suche Make-up Pinsel in Photoshop Elements Editor

Hallo,
weiß jemand, ob es im Photoshop Elements 11 Editor einen Make-up Pinsel zur Entfernung von Unreinheiten gibt? Ich kann so etwas nirgends finden und möchte in hunderten von Bildern kleine weisse Flecken wegretouchieren. In Corel PaintShop Pro X5 nennt sie dieses Werkzeug zur Entfernung von Unreinheiten in einem Bild "Make-Up-Werkzeug".
Die Flecken sind entstanden durch Reste von weissen Fotoeckenfussel als die noch nassen Fotos übereinander gestapelt waren und so dann beim Digitalisieren durch Abfotografieren auch mit auf das Bild kamen (siehe hochgeladenes Foto)

Photoshop Elements - 2cm Rand einfügen und Farbe vom Bild

Hallo, ich würde gerne ein Bild optimieren um es dann auf Leinwand drücken lassen zu können. Hierzu würde ich gerne einen Rand von 2cm am oberen Rand machen (nur dort) und die Farbe vom oberen Bildteil genau in diesen 2cm wiederspiegeln lassen denn am oberen Rand ist Himmel. Leider nicht genug und das Bild würde oben abgeschnitten werden ohne das Einfügen der 2cm beim spannen auf den Rahmen. Ich hoffe mir kann jemand Step by Step erklären wie ich dies machen könnte. Leider komme ich mti der Hilfe von Photoshop Elements nicht zurecht.

Schon geprüft, welchen Modi deine Problem-Datei hat (8bit oder 16bit, RGB-Modus oder sonstiger Farbraum)?
außerdem:
... Öffne ich ein neues leeres Bild ...
Neu erstellt oder geöffnet? Wenn letzteres - woher stammt die Datei?
Bitte auch daran denken: PSE kann bisher kein CMYK handhaben (mein Kenntnisstand bis Vers. 8)
... seit ner Weile nun irgendwie ...
Wurde seither ein neues Programm installiert oder irgend ein Update gemacht?

Hallo!
Wenn ich in Photoshop Elements 10 ein Verzeichnis mit PSD-Dateien öffne, so werden diese nicht mehr in "Minibild" angezeigt. Es ist nur ein ein blaues Icon mit der Schrift PSD zu sehen. Erst beim anklicken mit der Maus wird das Bild unten groß angezeigt.
Früher wurden die PSD-Dateien immer direkt als Vorschaubild angezeigt.
Hat jemand eine Idee, woran es liegen könnte?

Using Adobe Bridge with Photoshop Elements

I have an iMAC with iLife 08.
I take photos in RAW format with a Nikon camera.
I have been editing photos this way:
After uploading photos to iPhoto, export them as jpg to a new folder on the desktop, external HD or wherever. I open Photoshop Elements, edit the exported photo.
Then I'm stuck with my edits outside of iPhoto, unless I then import them back into iPhoto. It works, but it's cumbersome.
Today I thought I'd try a different route. I opened Photoshop Elements, and tried to use Bridge to browse photos. I can find the iPhoto library easy enough, but if I click on it, it opens iPhoto, and I'm stuck - can't open the photos in Photoshop.
I am hoping that if I do it correctly, I can save my edits directly back into iPhoto.
Any ideas?

Using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

How many computers can you use one copy of Photoshop Elements 11 on please?

I am totally happy with the way iPhoto organizes my photos and how I can work with iMovie to create slide shows with music from iTunes, etc.
I have been shooting mostly high resolution jpegs and I continue to learn more and more about photography, post processing etc. I realize that the small adjustments I can make in iPhoto are good, and are adequate most of the time. However, a have started to experiment with shooting RAW images and would like to go the next step, ie. post processing.I am totally technically challenged and need SIMPLE, INTUITIVE programs and am certainly NOT anywhere ready for Photoshop CS whatever!
After having these programs sit on my computer, I decided to try to see if I could figure them out. When I opened Aperture, this is what first comes up.

I have heard horror stories about moving your entire library to Aperture, ending up with 2 libraries, etc. etc. hence my previous reluctance in attempting Aperture. In addition, many of my photography friends are saying: Go with Lightroom 3.....you’ll love it!
So here is my dilemma. I don’t want to mess around with my iPhoto library. All I want to be able to do, is to isolate a few photos, export them to Aperture, Elements, and work on them there, then bring them back into iPhoto.
Can I do this? Should I forget about Aperture and Elements and look at purchasing yet another program like Lightroom?

Export those few photos via the File ➙ Export ➙ File Export menu option with Kind = Original to the Desktop. Then import them into the Aperture library. That would keep one copy in your iPhoto library and another in your Aperture library to edit, etc.
You can use Photoshop Elements 9 from within iPhoto as your editor of choice. However, if you edit a raw file in iPhoto with PSE9 the resulting edited version must be saved outside the iPhoto Library and imported back in as a new file. For editing jpegs just do a Save (not a Save As) and it all will be kept within iPhoto.

I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:
Note: to switch between iPhoto and PS or PSE as the editor of choice Control (right)-click on the thumbnail and select either Edit in iPhoto or Edit in External Editor from the contextual menu. If you use iPhoto to edit more than PSE re-select iPhoto in the iPhoto General preference pane. Then iPhoto will be the default editor and you can use the contextual menu to select PSE for your editor when desired.

How can I install Adobe Photoshop Elements Update 9.0.3 after I get a message that Installation has failed and the solution is not in troubleshooting or forums?

My Photoshop Elements 9 stopped working a couple of weeks ago. When I clicked the PSE button nothing happened. I tried this several times over a few days and it still failed. I uninstalled the program and re-installed it. It worked well. Then I tried to install the Update 9.0.3. The download was almost successful. When it was about to show 100% successful for the download, an error message said the installation had failed and that I should try later. I tried this many times over a few days and the same result occurred. I tried troubleshooting and the answers to questions, but I could not find an answer. I don't know where to go to see if anybody has answered my question. How can I install Update 9.0.3?

How can I integrate metadata and keywords in Lightroom with those in Photoshop, Bridge, and Photoshop Elements? In other words, is there a way to retrieve common metadata templates from all modules? Thanks!

What I mean by "common metadata", is a unified, updated, most current metadata, which I could update in each program. That is without overwriting the metadata, but appending new keywords to the metadata I created in the previous program.
I use Bridge, then Lightroom and finally Photoshop. That's the regular workflow: Bridge for preliminary sorting and and adding some keywords; Lightroom for organizing and picking the best images; finally, Photoshop for processing. I got Photoshop Elements on trial. Doesn't work for my purposes.
I need to share and update the metadata / keywords when I go from one program into another. Can't retrieve metadata I set up in Bridge into Lightroom. Same happens with Photoshop, where I can't retrieve keywords I add in Lightroom. It's tedious to write up the keywords again.
