BlazeDS Streaming stop working after moving from FB3 - FB4

Hello.
I was developing a project in Flex Builder 3 and decided to try Flash Bulder 4. So a create a copy of my project and created a new Flex Project on FB4 using SDK 3.5.
Added the -services "D:\workspace\.....\services_config.xml".
So all was compiling correctely, but I wasn´t getting any messages from de BlazeDS Streaming.
If I compile the same project on FB3, it does receive messages.
Does anyone know about this issue? any ideas?

the plugin for win media player is already installed and working fine in FF 6.02 before upgrade. i have Google this issue without any result so far. so i reinstalled the old version 6.02, until fix is found.
anyone has the similar issue with Firefox 7.01 in Win 7 32 bit ?

The issue was not with FF 7.01. VLC player version 1.11.1 is conflicting with windows media player when FF 7.01 tries to play media files! Which was not happening before in FF 6.02.
VLC and plugin media player need to be uninstalled first, then uninstalled FF 6.02. Install FF 7.01 and then win plugin media player again.

ActiveSync stops working after migrating from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013

We have started the migration from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013. We've followed best practices and everything is working great except ActiveSync. I've performed Exchange migrations in the past so this is nothing new for me. I've also been referring to
a great guide which has been a big help,

Once a user is migrated from Exchange 2007 to 2013, ActiveSync stops working properly. Email can be pulled to the device (Nokia Lumia 625 running Windows Phone 8) by performing a manual sync. But DirectPush is not working. The strange part is it's not affecting
everyone who's been migrated. Anyone who is still on Exchange 2007 is not affected.
At first I thought it was our wildcard certificate. 99% of our users are running Outlook 2013 on Windows 7 or higher but we do have a few terminal servers still running Outlook 2010. Outlook 2010 was giving us certificate errors. I realized it was the wildcard
certificate. Rather than making changes to the OutlookProvider I simply obtained a new SAN certificate. Although that resolved the issues for Outlook 2010 users, ActiveSync was still a problem.
Rebooting the phones and removing the email account from the user's device and re-adding it didn't resolve the issue either.
Then I performed an iisreset on the CAS server. This didn't help either. I didn't know it at the time, but I was getting closer...
I tried using the cmdlet Test-ActiveSyncConnectivity but it gave me the following error:
WARNING: Test user 'extest_0d9a45b025374' isn't accessible, so this cmdlet won't be able to test Client Access server
connectivity.
Could not find or sign in with user DOMAIN.com\extest_0d9a45b025374. If this task is being run without
credentials, sign in as a Domain Administrator, and then run Scripts\new-TestCasConnectivityUser.ps1 to verify that
the user exists on Mailbox server EX02.DOMAIN.COM
I started reviewing how Exchange 2013 proxied information from the CAS to the mailbox server and realized the issue may in fact be on the mailbox server.
I performed an iisreset on the mailbox server and all of a sudden ActiveSync started working again. Awesome!
I can't explain why. The only thing I can assume is when some users were migrated from 2007 to 2013 something wasn't being triggered on the Exchange 2013 side. Resetting IIS resolved the issue. I guess I'll have to do an IIS reset after I perform a batch
of migrations. Disabling ActiveSync and re-enabling it for the affected users didn't help - only the IISRESET resolved the issue.
If anyone has any information as to why this happens, please chime in. Also, if anyone knows why I can't run the Test-ActiveSyncConnectivity cmdlet, I'd appreciate the help.

In Exchange 2013, the Public Folder is changed to Public Folder mailbox instead of Public Folder in Exchange 2007 database.
Due to the changes in how public folders are stored, legacy Exchange mailboxes are unable to access the public folder hierarchy on Exchange 2013 servers. However, user mailboxes on Exchange 2013 servers or Exchange Online can connect to legacy
public folders. Exchange 2013 public folders and legacy public folders can’t exist in your Exchange organization simultaneously. This effectively means that
there’s no coexistence between versions.
For this reason, it’s recommended that prior to migrating your public folders, you should
first migrate your all legacy mailboxes to Exchange 2013. For more information about migrating public folder from previous versions, please refer to:

Remote Desktop Connection stop working after upgrade from 10.5.8 to 10.6.1

I too could not connect to a W2K3 server with RDC 2.0.1 after upgrading from Mac OS X, 10.5.8 to 10.6/10.6.1. I have another Mac which is on 10.5.8 and connect fine with the same version of RDC 2.0.1 as well as other PC with Terminal Service Clients.
There is no change on the server side. I have uninstalled and reinstalled RDC 2.0.1 several time and it did not resolve the issue. To rule out firewall/network, I tested with another remote desktop application called CoRD (for Mac) on the same laptop running SL 10.6.1 and it connected to the same W2K3 server fine.
One thing that is worth mentioning (in my case), when it does not connect, RDC totally quit (not running anymore. Not minimize, no cannot connect error message, no little dot on the Dock for RDC, nothing) right after I put in the credential in. When looking at the log entries that are related to RDC in the Console application, I see the following
machine 10.6.1. with RDC 2.0.1 (non-working)

Doing some more troubleshooting after my post above as I saw a couple of entries referencing Stop Light keep popping up in the log of the Console. I removed Stoplight and Cocoa Gesture (for good meausre) and RDC 2.0.1 started working. I think it is Stop Light which causes RDC stop working, but I don't have to time right now to put Cocoa Gesture back to confirm that. I might if I have the time or post here if you have Stop Light installed as well and removing it resolved the RDC issue for you.

Reports with prompting stop working when moved from Crystal10 to crystal 11

Issue:
We are having trouble with Crystal Reports XI. It appears that the Crystal 10 runtime included the ability to process reports that used prompting. If we run the same report with the Crystal XI runtime, it fails.

Our Configuration:
We use Merge Modules that install Crystal Reports through the browser via a CAB file that we created. It runs a setup executable
The setup executable project that installs CR XI uses the following Merge Modules:
CrystalReports11_RDC_Reportengine.msm
CrystalReports11_RDC_Runtime.msm
CrystalReports11_HotFix_Merge.msm (This is contrived by us from one of your hot fixes)
Observation:
When the install is finished, the folder structure under u2026. Crystalviewers11/prompting do not have any files like they do if we install the development environment.
Question:
What do we need to do to correct this situation?
*why the reports with*
*prompting stops working when it is moved from a Crystal 10 to Crystal 11*
*environment. I believe that it has something to do with Merge Modules*
*because the files under the prompting folder do not populate with the*
*merge module like they do with the full install of Crystal Reports.*

We have JDK 1.6 installed. The License Merge Module is not related to
this issue.
The files under \Program Files\Common Files\Business
Objects\3.0\crystalreportviewers11\prompting are not being installed.
If we copy files, into this folder structure the reports work.
One of the Business Object's Merge Modules should install the files
there rather than just an empty folder structure.
I got was able to figure out how to enter a customer support message.
They said that they could not support us because we were not on CRXIR2
(Crystal Reports 11 Release 2).
I found a download for CRXIR2SP4 (same thing service pack 4).
I installed it the Merge Module names changed to include a "_5"
Was:
CrystalReports11_RDC_Reportengine.msm
CrystalReports11_RDC_Runtime.msm
CrystalReports11_HotFix_Merge.msm (This is contrived by us from one of
your hot fixes)
Now:
CrystalReports11_5_RDC_Reportengine.msm
CrystalReports11_5_RDC_Runtime.msm
CrystalReports11_5_RDC_License.msm (should have been included)
*CrystalReports11_HotFix_Merge.msm (not needed anymore)
I will try to put a installer together with these. If this work there
will be some complexity around uninstalling the old one and installing
the new one.

Photo stream stopped working after update

Installed the 6.0.1 update on my 4s and all of a sudden Photostream stopped working. It did work for two or three days after the update but then stopped. The iCloud panel on my pc is grayed out. The phone itself has everything regarding Photostream turned on. Any suggestions besides restarting Photostream and losing the photos already in there? I am running Windows 8 on the PC...(Piece of CR*P)

You have probably enabled iCloud Drive on one of your mobile devices after upgrading to iOS 8. Then "documents in the cloud" will no longer work. Unfortunately, the upgrade to iCloud Drive cannot be undone. You'll have to wait for Yosemite.

As to My Photo Stream:
The new Photos.app stores the photos differently. There is no longer a Camera Roll, and My Photo Stream is no longer visible as a separate album. You will find the Photo Stream photos in the "Recently Added" album.

GPU basic features stop working after updating from version 13.0 to Photoshop version 13.1

My Basic GPU features were working flawless with Photoshop version 13.0 After I update to version 13.1 for CC members all my GPU features stop working. Is there a form to set my Photosop version 13.1 in order to use my GPU features or there is a huge difference between versions that doesn't allow me to use the GPU features? Note: I Already update my graphics card driver

Photoshop stop working after moving objects

mi PS keeps stop working every time i move a object!!!
im using windows 7 and a nvidia quadro NVS 140m
i have already tried ctrl alt shift and click on the photoshop icon but nothing keeps freezing

I am having the same problem.
Windows 7 x32, nVidia GeForce 8500GT, 3GB memory, Photoshop CS4 and CS5, OpenGL switched off, MS Standard Wireless Mouse
When I move a selection with the mouse Photoshop stops working. When I use the arrow keys PS continues to work. This problem never showed up when we were still using CS4 but after the installation of CS5 it shows up in bothe versions. I updated the mouse driver, no change.

[SOLVED] Amarok stopped working (after downgrading from kde4)

Hey,
I played around a bit with kde4 (from tardo's repositories), then uninstalled it.
And now - amarok stopped working entirely.
When I type "amarok" in the terminal, I get:
amarok: error while loading shared libraries: libkdecore.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
So I tried setting it up manually in "/opt/kde/lib", and typed:
ln -s libkdecore.so.4.2.0 libkdecore.so.5"
Still no luck. Now the file exists:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 2008-01-22 21:35 libkdecore.so.5 -> libkdecore.so.4.2.0
but I keep getting the same error message.
Any thoughts?

I'd say it would be a bad idea to be symbolic link things like that, but it might work since I have libkdecore.so.4 linked to the same thing.
What version of amarok do you have? I have 1.4.8-2 which is the newest in the extra repositories. If you have something else it might have gotten pulled in from testing or a kde4 repository. Maybe try reinstalling amarok-base

Volume buttons stop working after wake from sleep

I have a Pavilion dm4-1162us. The volume buttons do not work after the notebook wakes from sleep. It works initially from a normal startup. A restart will also resolve the issue. The quicklaunch buttons are the default buttons, that is it is set so the "fn" button needs to be used to use the function "f1, f2, f3, etc." keys.

Welcome to Windows. Some devices do not like to be put to sleep in Windows.
There could be driver updates or hot fixes from MS to fix these.
A very proven method (though not for battery life) is to instruct the devices not to go to sleep when the system goes to sleep. You can do this via the device manager in the control panel.
Its not a gracious solution but it will do what you want it to do.

IMac 10.8 Internet sharing stopped working after upgrade from 10.7

My iMac 27 (10.7) with Internet Sharing enabled has been working perfectly since last year. After upgrading to 10.8, I noticed the up arrow flashes and goes to regular WiFi mode. Stopping/starting the service causes the up arrow to flash again and immediately default to WiFi. I removed Ethernet and WiFi options from Network settings and re-installed which solved the Internet sharing from flashing and defaulting to WiFi mode. However, connecting to the Internet sharing from other devices (iphone/ipad) does not work and will not connect to the internet. On the iMac, I'm able to browse the Internet without issues.
If I disconnect the Ethernet cable and plug into either my MacBook or MacBook Pro and enable Internet sharing, everything works perfectly and all my other devices can use the Internet.
Now sure how to further troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I should add that the iMac is running Mac OS X Server which was also upgraded to 10.8. I was looking inside the Server for security options that restricted internet access via Internet sharing. Nothing.

Unfortunately this isn't a solution for my problem. As I understood, you showed me that your IP addresses had changed after enabling/disabling internet sharing. I checked my IP addresses after enabling/disabling internet sharing by using "ifconfig" but they are the same as set manually before.
My other strange observation regarding the ping command has gone now. After switching on internet sharing I had to disconnect the ethernet cable and plug it in again. Then the ping between both computers is working (but still not internet sharing).

Bath process stopped working after upgrading from Acrobat Pro 7.1 to 8.1.3

I have a batch process that was working in Acrobat 7.1 Professional on that no longer works when using Acrobat 8.1.3. It essentially takes a PDF sizes it down, puts a stationary behind it, watermarks it with the month and moves on to the next file. My javascript skills are not as good as I wish and I can't figure out what has changed between versions to stop it from working. The java console gives a message saying "redeclaration of the const ConvertToPA." It seems like something in the syntax has changed. Does anyone know what's changed to stop it from working? Batch of .MOV stopped working after moving around some files?

I had a collection of .MOV video files (which were working fine) on a Mac Pro station, imported them into FCP 7... Still working fine. Then, decided I wanted them on my External Drive so I copied everything over to my external. Moved the originals into a new folder on the desktop (to organize). Then when accessing my FCP project on my MBP via the external realized that half of them werent working anymore and showing a white screen in the viewer? So I tried to open one in quicktime from the finder to get the error "this file could not be opened"?? So I go back to the original station and now its saying that they cant be opened on the original computer??! I have no idea what I could have moved that would kill over 30 .mov files???? PLEASE HELP ):

I don't suppose any of them (or all of them) were saved as "reference movies"? That might explain it. From the Save As… dialogue in QuickTime:
Save as a reference movie
Any external movies will be required to play this movie.

Dynamics stop working on moving from v7 to v8

A very simple form (saved as dynamic) has a tick-box labeled 'do you want to add more info?'. This controls the presence of a subform. This form worked at v7 but does not work when used in AdobeReader v8 and doesnt work when tested in Livecycle Designer v8. Other, more complex, forms also fail. What must I do to correct this and my extensive library of forms? Any ideas?

We are still looking into the issue you reported and what we can do to fix it. The bug report describes the problem as
"Calculate event does not fire immediately after leaving a field and a change has taken place in that field. In 7.x, after you made a change to a field (either add text to a TextField, set the value in a CheckBox, etc...), then left the field, the Calculate event would fire. In 8.0, the Calculate event isn't getting fired."
It also describes the following work around:
"Move the calculate scripts to another event such as the 'exit' event, or the 'change' event. Or for a CheckBox, the 'click' event. It really depends on the scenario."
It sounds like you reached this conclusion on your own. We'll keep investigating the fix and determine when we can get it released. Thanks for the test collateral and sorry for the inconvenience.
