Block access of account in segmentation
Hi expert,
can you please tell me how to Block access of account in segmentation, my client has four segments based on the location,ex, A,B,C,D.
can we authorize users of location A can only access accounts assigned to A.

Some points of view you need to care about preventing access from users:
1. Screen of Chart of account
2. List of account in G/L account field (JE, marketing documents)
3. Accounting report
That' why SDK can help to solve your issue? Because SP_TN can not solve point 1 & 3.

my wife's iphone 5 stolen (find phone not enabled). I had my ipad mail with icloud also listed on her phone. How could I block access to this on her phone without deleting it from my Ipad as the main account. We could not contact apple from vietnam and even went to the apple store but no help.

In the Internet Accounts preference pane, delete any calendar accounts you don't use.
If there's no improvement, delete all calendar accounts and add them back. With an iCloud account, all you have to do is uncheck and recheck the box marked Calendars & Reminders in the iCloud preference pane.
Step 2
You may be trying to access an invited event that you declined, or one that was rescheduled after you accepted it. The error message should give you a clue as to what it is. If the calendar is on iCloud, you can bring up the Calendar on the website and select
Show Declined Events
from the popup menu with the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page. The declined events will appear in gray, and one of them should match what's shown the error message. [Credit for this solution to ASC member Psi.]
Step 3
If you get the error when trying to accept an invitation in an email attachment, it's because the organizer didn't properly create the event.
Step 4
Follow the instructions in this support article. Modify as necessary for a calendar that's not on iCloud. -
Is there a way to block access to programs?
I want to block access to a program called Acquisition, as it's nothing more than a database for ***********. However, I can't seem to find any kind of program that will allow me to block and password protect access to the program.
Does anyone know of any type of program that will allow me to do this or if there is any other way to block it?
Thanks!Remove it? Use Disk Utility to put it on an encrypted disk image would be one way. Create a new user account and use Fast User Switching and have it only accessible by the new user. And use an encrypted FileVault.

Verizon Blocking Access to Mail Servers outside the United States
I spent almost two hours with Verizon representatives yesterday after having spent 10 days in Canada without ever being able to access the pop.verizon.net email server. Although the information does not seem to be well known throughout Verizon, several officials confirmed that as of September 14, Verizon has made the decision to block all IP addresses outside the United States trying to communicate with Verizon's email servers.
Parenthetically, Verizon Wireless was also unaware of this change in policy but was most interested to learn about it given the impact it would have. It would also help explain why there were many customers who suddenly found their smartphones to be significantly less useful when traveling internationally.
I asked repeatedly whether the Verizon community had been made aware of this change in policy and several individuals within Verizon confirmed that no such corporate communication was ever made, despite the fact that this change has a dramatic impact on those who travel outside the United States. They conceded that this should have been done, but of course no one seems to know where the decision within the corporation was made about this policy and who might be "empowered" to actually consider the impact on the Verizon user community and communicate with it in a transparent manner.
I find this behavior on Verizon's part to be appalling. Even if security concerns drove this decision, I can't but help feel that it is Verizon's arrogance that led them to believe that this change in policy should not be communicated to the Verizon community.
I have made my view known to some individuals--would suggest that others do so as well--although I am skeptical that anyone within the Verizon heirarchy cares. Hopefully I'm wrong.

We have asked them to clarify the message and they finally have, but not necessarily what you want to hear.
"Additionally, we have implemented measures to prevent future unauthorized access attempts which may affect your ability to access your Verizon.net email from locations outside the U.S. If you experience difficulty reaching your Verizon.net email account, you can always access it online at mail.verizon.com or through the Verizon My FiOS app for mobile devices. For further information see the Verizon Webmail FAQs. "
I think they are also still accepting whitelist requests for Foreign ISP's. -
Blocking Access from Ubuntu 9.04 Virtual Machine
Hi Everyone
We have blocked access on Perimeter Routers for Some specific ports like telnet , SSH etc
and as per access policy users are granted access within the organisation for Servers at Data Centre based on there IP addresses
If some body installs Ubuntu 9.04 Virtual Machine and then invokes virtual XP some how the user gets 10 series IP and still manages to access the servers
How can i block the same
While checking for IP Accounting on Router there are no traces on the Vitual IP but server login details shows the IP address from whcih accessed with source IP as 10.x.x.x

I personally am unaware of any thin client driver technology that would help you here, that isnt to saythere isnt one.
This si not an area i am now current in, i merely really wish to say you do not need a full database install. -
Edge Inspect - Hosting providers blocking access?
Hostgator is my hosting provider, and it seems that they are blocking access to my site URLs when I use Adobe Edge Inspect on multiple devices. Is it possible that they are detecting this access from multiple devices to same URL at the same time from the same IP as an attack? One device will load the page, then the rest will be blocked.
Adobe - please work with major hosting providers to ensure there are exceptions given for the Adobe Edge Inspect usage scenarios, otherwise it severely reduces the value of the product.We haven't heard of anything like this before. Some questions:
How many devices are you using when this happens?
Is it always the same device that successfully reaches the site, or does it vary from one to another?
What's the error you see on the devices when they can't reach your site? Can you post a screenshot of it?
We don't have any special access to Hostgator and don't know any of your account details. Can you try checking with them so they can check the logs for your account and confirm that's what the issue is? If you can confirm with them and provide a contact number we'd be happy to try and work out a solution with them to avoid this issue.

Hi, I have a problem and can't find a solution by myself, I hope you can help me.
An account was created for me at work, and my company even added some money to this account. There's no way for me to access this account. It's associated to my mail adress, so when I do the "lost password" procedure, I get the code on my mailbox. I can even use the code to reset the password and right after I submit the new password I am told I need to set a password for the account. And again it goes all the time.
Is there any way I can escape this circle and set my password, so I can start using my account (and spendig the money).

I can find out why it is blocked and, depending upon the reason, arrange for it to be unblocked.

I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

You will need to contact Skype Customer Service in order to recover access to your account. Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service, next time you try again, use a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.

Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments
Dear Support,
I have an issue with attachment with Outlook. It is showing "Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments". I can't download,view the attachments with the mail.
The scenario is, I was on Outlook 2010 and upgraded to Outlook 2013 and the mails before a particular date has this attachment issue. I mean if I get mail today, there is no issues. I can download,view etc. I tried most of the registry entries like Level1,
etc but not solving at all. I have copied some emails from that to pst and tried on another PC, it was not working..
Please help me to fix this because the attachments are very important to us

Which type of email account are you using? Do you leave copies of your emails on the server? If so, we may first check if you can view or download the attachments from web access.
Does this issue happen to all types of email attachments received before a particular date? Please note that Outlook blocks some file types by default, you may check the list in the following link:

In addition, by "I tried most of the registry entries like Level1", do you mean that you tried adding the following registry but still not fix the issue?

Perhaps what you say is true, but in this situation it is irrelevant.
I install an upgrade to a functioning Skype installation. I then click a checkbox to prevent Skype from starting automatically. And this procedure wipes out my port setting? Sorry, only if Skype has a bug does it do that.
If there was a port number problem, the upgrade introduced it or clicking the setting to prevent Skype startup automatically introduced it or the installation was corrupted by some other means.
My approach was to clean up the installation by uninstalling. And as I discovered, Skype has its tentacles deep into the registry and provides no mechanism to perform the required clean up. I am requesting Skype automate that cleanup rather than inflict an arduous, error prone manual procedure on the baffled user. -

I have made 5 different account to access time capsule. but in windows when I enter account name and password for one account, i cannot access other accounts, because windows saves username. how can i prevent this from happenning. Sorry I cannot follow why you would even use the PC to control the Time Capsule. Apple have not kept the Windows version of the utility up to date.. so they keep making it harder and harder to run windows with apple routers. -

so, you have to wait for mountain lion to arrive.
if you want to get a clean OS on your machine now, do this
reboot holding down command/option/R (hoping your machine supports this)
open disk utility, erase your HD so you have a single mac journaled partition
choose install OSX on this HD
let it run. from what you said, you will be back on lion.
