Block contacts on iPhone, iPad?

I need to block certain numbers / contacts from my iPhone and iPad. Iphone 5, version 7.1.2, Ipad same.

In Phone > Recents, press the i information icon to the right of the number to be blocked. On the subsequent panel, scroll to the bottom and discovery Block this Caller.

Does anyone know if you block a contact on an iPhone 6 and you both have Verizon, will the call waiting distinctive ring still work (The caller hears a ring and beep if you are on the other line)? Or does it only work for non-blocked contacts? Thanks!

Unwanted calls can be annoying! Just to clarify, which block are you using? There is a block that comes on the iPhone 6 that can be placed via the device, or have you placed the VZW Call & Message block http://vz.to/MqEgqB on that number?

Sur votre Mac Système ouvert Préférences> icloud
Décochez la case en regard de Contacts, puis resélectionner il puis redémarrez votre Mac.
Sur l'iPhone et l'iPad, appuyez sur Paramètres> icloud
Mettez Contacts hors tension, puis de retour sur les appareils, puis redémarrez.
Maintenez le bouton ON / OFF bouton Marche / Veille et le bouton Home en bas en même temps pendant au moins dix secondes, jusqu'à ce que le logo Apple apparaisse.

I cannot download iOS 8 via iTunes as it hangs on 'Contact the iPhone software update server...' for hours.

HT4528 I have 3 iPhones, one Ipad, and two PC's that I have tried to "connect" using one iTunes account and am having issues.I connected iPhone #3 to one PC, it removed all contacts from iPhone #3, replaced w/ contacts from iPhone #2. How can I get back?

I have 3 iPhones, one iPad and 2 PC's, all using the same iTunes account. I want to be able to have each iPhone keep their own list of accounts and music list and the I pad different as well. I want to 2 PC's music list to match. How do I do this?
Additionally, when I connected iPhone #3 to one PC, it removed the contacts from #3 and replaced it with contacts from iPhone #2. How do I get those contacts back and prevent this from happening again?

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

How can I Sync same contacts within Google account & iphone, ipad?

My boss has iPhone 4, ipad & Blackberry, Iphone & ipad enable icloud. All devices sync with google account. After some days we found duplicates contacts & some same contacts 4/5 save in Google account.

Sync your iPad with computer iTunes.
Note: your contacts should be in computer Outlook (Windows) or Contacts (Mac) application.
If you have iCloud configured in iPhone, do the same for iPad.
Setttings > iCloud >
     Account: your Apple ID
     Contacts: ON
     Documents & Data: ON

How can i update my contacts on the ipad and have it go to my iphone. I tried backing up on icloud but this doesn't work. yes i had them plugged in when i backed it up

Brilliant! That worked like a charm.
I created a new User Account on one of my Macs and logged into it. I connected my iPhone to its iTunes and checked my iPhone's Sync Contacts option in iTunes. Since that account's address book was basically empty (two dummy contacts, one for Apple and one for this new user), I ended up with only those two Contacts on the phone. Then, going back to my real User account (which does not have syncing turned on in iTunes) the phone synced nicely with the MobileMe account and populated the phone with all the MobileMe contacts and groups.

IMac contacts do not synch with iCloud, iPhone & iPad contacts do

When I add/modify contacts on my MacBook Pro, the changes do not synch to iCloud, or my iPhone or iPad. Calendar items and iCloud mail do synch and contactys synch between my iPhone and iPad. What am I missing? I have Lion.

First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

We each have contacts that we don't want to share between our iPhones, but would like to share on the iPad.

If you intend to "share" the iPad, that's not gonna work if you both have separate Apple ID's & iTunes accounts. Like iPhone, iPad is not presently designed to be shared like a computer. Confirm if this is your intent.
