    Hi PP gurus,
Can anyone help me in blocking the creation of production order if the standard cost estimate is not done for the particular posting period.

    Hi,
I do not think there exist a standart check. You can use exit EXIT_SAPLCOZF_003 to block creation of production order by sending error messages based on any condition.

  • Every time system create new production order after releasing sales order c

    Hi Guru,
FG material strategy: 82 (sales order creates production order).
After creating the sales order it goes in to credit block. Whenever we release sales order from credit block through VKM1, system has created production order. We confirmed this production order and delivered.
But after this sales person change the sales order value, because of which again sales order goes into the credit block and after releasing sales order from credit block system create new production order even if one production order already confirmed and delivered against the same sales order.
*Every time system create new production order after releasing sales order credit block.
    Thanx & regards
    pnu

    PNU,
    So, to restate:
In MD04, you have Unrestricted Sales order Stock ('E' Stock) on hand.
In the same MRP segment, and against the same Storage Location as the stock, you have a Sales Order requirement that was recently blocked and unblocked.
During the unblocking event, the system produced a new production order.
This is not normal.  If the above accurately depicts your situation, I would look for an altered Strategy 82, or a userexit.  SAP ATP (the beginning event of the Strat 82 process) will normally first check for the availability of stock.  Only if the stock is not available, then it will create the new production order.

  • Creation of  production campaign and deletion of orders from campaign

    Hi APO Gurus,
This is regarding campaign creation for a set or group of orders.
I have a group of orders in a z table, I want to create a campaign in PP/DS by using Heuristic : /sapapo/heur_pcm_create.
Can I do this without going to DS board, Simply by calling the above given function module in a z program?
Similarly , in another table if I have a set of orders , which are already part of a campaign.
Can I remove those orders from the Campaign by using heuristic : /SAPAPO/HEUR-PCM_Dissolve , without going to DS Board.
    Waiting for your valuable suggestions.

  • Add estimated cost in PM Service order after release of order.

I have released the PM service order. Now I need to add the estimated cost in service order. . Please tell me a way to do so. I have only released the order and no other transaction has been done.

    ANIMESH KUMAR,
AS standard you cannot change the estimated cost value after release (REL).
However, I have seen two work arounds:
    - Copy the field onto the Enhancement tab via user-exit IWO10018
    - A bespoke TCode/program to directly update the AUFK-USER4 field

  • Automatic Locking of Production Order on release

    Dear Experts,
When the production order is released, the order should be "Locked" automatically. When changes are required, the production order is unlocked manually and changes are done. This is our requirement.
Is it possible to lock the order on release.
If yes what are the settings?

    Hi,
    Go to T.code BS02.
    - Create new Status Profile , if required do it by copy any standard one.
    - Then go to Detail screen.
    - Assign order status. For your reference I have used 2 order status.
    - CRTD - Created.Set this one as Initial one.
    - LOCK - Release and Locked.
    - Now assign Object type to this status Profile. You have to select PP/PM Order Header.
    - Now double click on Status CRTD and press New Entry tab to find and set allowed Transection. Here you have to select and restrict transaction types this status.
    - Now go to Status LOCK and double click. Then press New Entry tab.You will find the list of transactions.
First select Transaction Release and make it as allowed and also activate radio button for Set.It will activate the status LOCK automatically after release of order.
    - Now make forbidden of all other transactions like change of order,Confirmations etc. as per your suitability.
    - You can assign any other user status also for further transaction control.
    - Then save your status profile.
    - Now assign this Status Profile to Order type using T.code OPJH.

  • Production Order creation through Tcode- CO10 unless previous order is Tech

    Hi,
Can I restrict new Production Order creation through Tcode- CO10 unless previous order is Techoed / closed.
Issue : Users having authorisation for CO10, are creating multiple orders without taking them to logical closure. Since budget is getting allocated for the each & every order, in the year end reconcilation becomes difficult.
Without using an exit can we achieve it???

  • Duplicate production order due to sales order on credit block

    Dear Experts !
Need feedback on the following scenario:
    - Sales order is entered for material which is produced in-house specific to the sales order (ie customer's logo is on product).
    - Schedule line in sales order creates a production order specific to the sales order.
    - Customer runs into credit check a few days later and consequently the schedule line in the sales order is removed due to credit block, however the linked production order still remains and is produced by factory.
    - Sales order is released from credit check and a new schedule line is created resulting in another production order being released.
Any ideas on how to prevent duplication of production order?
    Thanks in advance!
       -Alvin

    Hello,
Apologies for the confusion, let me explain it a bit more.
    - Sales order is entered for material with planning strategy group of make-to-order, the schedule line initiates new production order for make-to-order material.
    - A few days later - the customer goes over credit limit or has overdue invoices, etc..
    - During background rescheduling (or any sales order change) the sales order gets a credit block due to static check.
    - Sales order block deleted schedule line in sales order, however the production order remains active.
    - Once the sales order is released from credit block, a new schedule line is created which initiates a new production order.
    - Duplicate production order is now being made in shop floor.
I hope the above explains my scnario a little clearer.
    Thanks and regards,
    Alvin

  • Avoiding creation of reservation during creation of production order

    Dear gurus,
when we create a production order for a semifinshed material there are reservations created for the raw material used to produce the semifinished material ,what if I what to avoid the creation of material reservation .
I have tried out with setting in opl8 wherein we specify the creation of reservation on release of production order or on creation or never but it is not working otu please if u can help me out.
I what to create manual reservation for production orders......Is it possible?
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear ,
.As long as , you have BOM components are in stock  , system will generate reservation for them when you create Production order  where as if any of the component is not available in the stock then it will generate PR based on the material master set up because when you are creating production order or creating planned order through MRP , system performs material availablity check in the back ground and generate either reservation or PR automatically .
Secondly, you can not create Manual Reservation  , See the Std SAP message .Message no. M7 126
You entered an order whose category only permits automatic reservations. The following order categories do not allow manual reservations:
    10 PP production order
    20 network
    30 maintenance order
    40 batch order (process manufacturing)
    50 inspection lot.
So conclusion is you can't stop creation of reseravtion .Curious to know why you do not want reservation for PO ?
    Hope this is clear

  • BOM Selection Mandatory while creation of Production Order

    Hello Friends,
I would like to know that is there any option other than production version which makes it mandatory to have valid BOM must for creation of Production order / coversion of planned order to Production order.
I have tried with Production version option but it doesnt throw any error in case BOM with inactive status has been selected in it & also Production order gets created & released.
Before going for user exit / enhancement option, I just wanted to ensure that it is not possible with standard SAP.
Kindly share your views on the same.
Your urgent replies will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Tejas

    Hello Tejas,
I think this is standard SAP Behaviour.
    Try with following exits:

    PPCO0012

  • Reg:Bapi for mass creation of production order/confirmation

    Dear Experts,
I wanted to know with the following BAPI is it possible to create Multiple production orders for different semifinshed Materials along with material availability check and other functions similar to CO01 transaction.
I knew there are standard transactions for mass confirmation for production orders. But i need a confirmation on this BAPI . As i am planning to go-ahed with ,mass creation of production order creation / Order confirmation in single custom transaction.Need back flush activity even supported.
    BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE to create the orders.
    BAPI_PRODORD_RELEASE to release the orders.
BAPI_PRODORDCONF_GET_TT_PROP to get the default data for the confirmation.
BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT to ost the confirmation of production order.
Along with this BAPI do i need to commit any other BAPI to carry out back flush for components.
Need your suggestions to take it further.
    Regards,
    Daya.

  • Problem During Creation of Production Order

    Dear Sirs
Hope you all are well. I am facing a problem in PPDM during creation of Production Order which is that when I try to release the order System shows me material availability error for BOM items but when I check those material in MMBE(stock overview )all materials are available in UN-restricted use stock. I am facing this problem and not able to resolve it please help me out in it.
    Thanks

    Dear
Did you maintain Work Schedulimng View of the Material ??
Did you maintain any Production Storage Loaction in MRP2 view and same is appearing in Goods Movement Tab in CO11N screen with Movement Type 101 ??
Did you maintain the Operation Control Key -pp03  which should have Auto GR check box marked in OP00 ?? Goto Operation Control key -Detail information -Check whther Auto GR is marked or not ??
If you are using Serrial Number Profile and Serial Number , then Auto GR is not possible .Make sure that you are not haveing functionality because it does not support Auto GR fro serialised material and need to do it through MIGO/MB31/MB1C.
Make sure that you have used PP03-Control key only at last operation not all the operations. You need to maintain PP03 at Routing level and call the function by Read PP Master data  at production order level   (co02-function read pp master data )
