I want to block some GL balances. so that all the users, except some users, can not see the balances of that GL using any report.

Hi:
Please ask basis guy to maintain GL authorization group against auth object F_SKA1_BES for user profiles. Activity 03 will help him in doing so. This object is for GL display and it can be restricted by putting GL authorization group for certain activities.

The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

With Facebook on display, click on the [[site identity button]] and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see [[Images or animations do not show]].

Several tried to but no one seemed to understand the real problem.
I COULD, because it was mine too. So it follows the only ultimate solution:
1. Open Firefox
2. On the address bar, type – about:config in the URL. Press Enter.
3. You will be warned about Warranty. Click on “I’ll be careful…”
4. On the Filter dialog box type – search.conduit
5. It will display all related entries. Right-click on Preferences Name and Reset.
It worked for me, after trying a dozen of "fake" solutions. ;)

How to stop header from displaying when hovering over mail photos

This is an annoying behaviour to say the least. In MacMail when I move my cursor over an imbedded photo in a message the full header for the photo that is a link shows up almost blocking the photo. I can understand that the cursor would turn into a hand but there must be a way to stop the full address of the photo link? from displaying.
Anyone?

There are some options under Settings >Firewall. Open the Settings menu and type Firewall in the search bar. There you can block text messages. Be aware that you will still be charged for the message over the network but the device won't display the message. To keep from being charged for the message you'd need to contact your wireless service provider.
As for phone number blocking you would have to go to Phone >Options. There is a call blocking feature but your provider must support it.

Block websites from detecting window size

It seems that many websites are able to detect the size of the browser window. This creates two major problems for me:
1. If I resize the window smaller than some unknown threshold width, the site switches to a mobile version.
2. If I resize the window beyond a certain dimension, video sites like Youtube will shrink the size of the video player to some proportionally smaller size.
I have a 42-inch monitor, so I like to work with multiple windows open at the same time, in non-overlapping positions. I might want to watch a video in a window perfectly resized to the dimensions of the video player plug-in only, in the corner of my screen, while working on a Word document side-by-side with a webpage and an Excel spreadsheet. I like to resize things in tall, narrow dimensions because this is what documents look like in real life and it minimizes vertical scrolling.
How can I either block websites from detecting my browser window dimensions or pass a phony value to them so they display the full-size page (including larger sizes of media players) no matter what size I actually make the windows? I'd prefer to do this in the about:config rather than installing an add-on.
Why do web designers put so much effort into avoiding scrollbars?!?! Is it so that we have to look at their stupid ads and banners along the margins of the real content?

And that's precisely what I want to do. How many different ways can a website query the user's screen size? (JS, CSS, etc.) If the list of methods is short enough, is there a way that I could block those specific methods, or better yet force a return value of my choosing? I don't know anything about user stylesheets, but based on some casual research I suspect that I can stop CSS-based queries by creating my own user stylesheet.
I suppose an extreme measure is to block those scripts entirely, but that would break a lot of websites these days.

There probably is, but it requires that you be able to use punctuation and write in sentences so that we can understand exactly what you want.
You can block others from using your Apple ID by changing your password. There is no way to erase what was already downloaded on to someone else's device, for obvious reasons,

I can't believe ... I'm absolutely dumb-founded ... that Apple provides no way to block harassing users. This is NOT related to a wireless/cellular carrier, this is on my wifi-only iPad.

You really have to wonder why the feature of blocking someone is not available. It would be simple to implement. Harrassing text messages, imessages, whatever you want to call them give an abuser a way to contact someone who does not want any contact. This can result in psychological damage, even in some cases suicide. If I am receiving unwanted messages from someone, I don't see why I can't just hit a button that says block. The message then can be diverted to a folder, and if I want to unblock them I should be allowed. There is not one reason I can imagine why I should not have this power. It's ridiculous and unfortunate that in this age of bullying and stalking, we aren't allowed this modicum of control over our privacy. So just when you think you have forgotten someone, or someone you love has finally removed an abusive person from their lives and moved on, all that person has to do is suddenly decide to text you day and night so that you cannot do anything but think about them. Why oh why is there no block messages from this person button as there is in virtually every social networking website? I am flabbergasted. And of course if you have a data plan and someone wants to send you spam, they can actually eat into your data usage against your will. I have to deny my family the ability to send me iMessages by completely disabling it because one nutcase won't leave me alone? Again, where is our control over our privacy? I'm frustrated over this issue, and after seeing what happened to Amanda Todd I don't see why it's not mandatory that this feature be added to every instant messaging platform. Is there any possibilities in OBIEE to Prevent null values from displaying in answers
For example, If i have two records in table
TV         cost=NULL(having agg rule sum in BMM layer)
RADIO   cost=10(having agg rule sum in BMM layer)
in answers i get two records
TV       NULL
RADIO 10
but i want to get one, only with not null cost

Just want to clarify your question,You want to eliminate the NULL values from the report am i right? If that is the case then put the filter COST <> NULL.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the ''Safe mode'' start window.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

How do I block pings from the outside to the ASA 5505 outside interface?

I was asked to block pings from the internet to the outside interface of our ASA-5505 firewall. I found a post that said to enter "icmp deny any outside", however that does not do it.
I created an ACL to try and do the trick, also to no avail:
access-list outside_in extended permit icmp any any echo-reply
access-list outside_in in interface outside
access-group outside_in in interface outside
Anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong? I'm not the firewall guy as you can tell. :/

Most networks that you protect with a Cisco ASA device, will probably want to deny ICMP (maybe not all ICMP types, but a lot of network admins will want to block ICMP Echo, etc.) on the outside interface. This will make the network harder to find through external enumeration, but not impossible.
ASA5505(config)#icmp deny any outside
You will deny ICMP on the outside interface, but if you include ICMP as a protocol in the default global policy map, you can ping from the inside to any host on the outside, and it will be permitted back through the ASA, as it knows about the previous ICMP “connection
