Block more than 8 URLs? SPI torrent blocking router available?

Are there ANY routers made by Linksys/Cisco that will allow me to enter more than 8 URLs per user for blocking??
I have just upgraded from DLink and I had over 60 blocked websites on the DLink. I came to cisco because I was told it's the best and no where did it say there was a limit on the device, none of the retailers could answer my questions.
I want to block guests when the kids have parties. Stop guests looking at porn or watching movies! not swearing or talk of sex like happens on Facebook. :-( grrr
I was also hoping to prevent torrents from being dowloaded!! I thought that's why you invest in such a good name router!!
Do I have to now buy an additional computer with better firewall software and run it 24/7 ??????? This is just stuipd. I should have bought a cheap Router for $30 if I have to use an extra computer and firewall software, what's the point!
The cost of runiing a PC 24/7 is not cheap surely! why spend so much money on a Router that has these limitations. Does Cisco actually design their products for Families? I have 5 kids here!

If there is a better router model than E3000 that fixes these issues, please let me know, if not, PLEASE forward on my comments to the relevent product design area. Surley I can't be the only parent with these issues!!!!

Hell, even D Link has a better block list, how come they can think of it and Cisco is the supposed industry leader!
It just so happens that DLink can't do it to individual IP adresses and I dont want my 11 yr old on facebook like my 14 yr old.
If I had to go out and buy 3rd party applications like firewalls and computers just to get this thing to do what it's made to do which is be a bloody firewall and router then Cisco should make a $30 router in a cheap arse PC use other companies software that does work because obviously, they can't make theri own.
The whole reason for me buying Cisco in the first place is to not have to go and buy superior products to it. I was told it's the best out there for families and security when it can't even compete with a software firewall solution on a linux box.
If you have any voice in the Cisco development area, can you please pass my comments on and have them make a good firewall solution?? Parents want to protect their children, and they don't want to get fined by police or industry when their account is flagged for illeagle downloads from torrents or .mp3 sharing sites.
It may not even be their kids, perhaps a friend came over whilst parents were on holidays or there was a LAN party or maybe there was some sort of craze going on at school for a particular song etc...
C'mon, why is it so hard to think like a parent!!!
I met my partner with 3 kids and then had 2 of my own. Why didn't Cisco think about that! do they think all families start with no kids? have they seen the divorce rates??
What your suggesting is I go buy other peoples products becase they are superior and will do the job where as Cisco can't.
i'm not happy cause I spent $300 on this device when a stupid 2nd hand linux box, $30 router with firewall would have been cheaper and better. The problem is, I don't want to run a power hungry computer to do this 24/7 !! That's why i got the router labled as the best for!! I Wonder if Zonealarm make a firewall Router. is that the next suggestion?? Go to another competitor?
I will look and see if there is anything i can do to this purchase I have made to make it better. I don't know what Trend Micro offer, but if it's better than Cisco and won't cost me another frikken $300 for nothing, I'll do that.

Are there any way to copy or delete more than one url at a time

i have a lot of url and i want to copy them to another folder, for now i do it one at a time, so i am wondering can i highlight and cope more than one at a time, and i also want to do this in delete.

Hello, here's my problem: I want to create more than one button instance that go to different URL address's. From the Adobe Video Workshop, I got the code:

More than one URL object

OK - I've managed to get this far without posting to the forum with this project, which shows that I'm actually beginning to grasp java.
I'm trying to get graphics to show up on JButton in jar files - I know that you're thinking that I should search the forums and I've already done that and found part of the solution - which is so create a URL object which uses the getResource method.
This works when I have one button - and works fine - when I have more than one for some reason the whole application crashes. If I have two buttons implemented through this way the first works fine, but the second causes the application to crash and I get:

However, I'm not sure what pngName will be in this instance - will it be "a" + "Angelfish" or will it be "a", or "Angelfish"? How are the two parts separated, if at all? I want to have an ImageIcon called Angelfish.png and then another JLabel where I will show the text "a, Angelfish".

There is a box under the IOS 6 software update. The box says "download and Install" but I can't highlight the box to activate it. Under that there is a sentence that says "update requires at least 2.5 GB of available storage. I have 9.6 available.

On these kind of routers under Access Restriction,you can block 4 websites by URL Address...4 using Keyword and you can also block some application under Blocked Applications....If the application you want to block is not listed or you want to edit a service’s settings, enter the application’s name in the Application Name field. Enter its range in the Port Range fields. Select its protocol from the Protocol drop-down menu. Then click the Add button.

CNAME function available for more than one URL?

I have successfully installed the CNAME funktion for ond URL to be used with an iWebsite.
Now I would like to create another iWebsite using a different URL via CNAME function.
Is this possible and if so how can I do it?

No it is not possible because CNAME forwarding can only be used ONCE for every MobileMe account.
If you want to link another domain name to another website, then you will have to use either masked or unmasked web forwarding.
This is all you can do, remembering that MobileMe will not be here after June this year, so you'll have to find alternative web hosting anyway - why not start looking now rather than using MobileMe?

Can I create more than one URL link in a single Flash (SWF) file?

I created a simple SWF slideshow in Flash with 5 slides. I was able to link one URL to the whole file by adding an alpha button.
What I can't figure out is how to add a URL link to each slide. The SWF file i sused on a website and I would like to be able to click on a particular slide as it is playing to go the a site or page that applies to that slide.
Is there a way or code I can use to do this??

You cannot duplicate instance names or function names, so you'll need to create unique names for each one that behaves differently. So you can only have one function named "mouseClick"... if you want to have another function to link somewhere else you need to create a new name for that function ("mouseClick2" would work)
There are alternate approaches, but for now this will be the easiest for you to deal with.

Ipod wont connect to wifi if more than 2-3 feet away from router

I have a 32Gb 4th Generation Ipod Touch which until last week was working perfectly.
About 3 days ago I started having problems connecting to my home wi-fi network. If I sit within 2-3 feet of the router it finds it okay and will connect, but anywhere over that distance I get nothing.
All the other devices in my house, including another 4th Generation Ipod all connect okay.
I have tried rebooting the router and changing the wireless channel number, although I have always used the same channel number. I have also done a Network Reset and Full Reset on the 32Gb Ipod, but nothing has changed.
The Ipod is only 4 months old and was purchased from Argos.
Is there anything else I can do to try and resolve this or shall I just take it back for an exchange / repair?

Anyone with more than one iPhone 6/6+ in same order getting there phones shipped if all your phones didn't have 9-19 when you ordered?

Our Verizon account has 10 lines and I figure we're paying over $7,000 a year, when I think of how much money total we have payed to Verizon only to be jerked around and around and lied too over and over again really does make me sick. 6 of these contracts have ended and 3 will be up in next couple months and 1 has a year left so the cancelation fees would not be that bad. And with the other big carrier I've heard it might be cheaper on monthly service. All I wanted from Verizon was for them to do whats right.

all on the same order. I finished at 3:19 am est and got a date of 10/14 even though all the phones except the 6+ 16 gb gray had 9/19. Got confirmation email at 4:56 will ship by 10/14 I got worried that all the phones would not ship till 10/14 and contacted verizon thru facebook messenger. They told me my phones would ship in the order received and not be held up by a phone that wasn't available in my order. And based on the time of my order she said 9/19 for the 6 and 6+ silver, 10/7 for the 6+ 64 gray , 10/14 for 6+ 16 gray. On Monday morning my status changed to 9/19:):) in the afternoon in changed to unknown. I called 611 and rep went thru all my phones with a time sheet she had and said i should get all but the 6+ 16 gray on 9/19, she said that one you had to order by 3:00 to get on 9/19. On Wednesday my status changed to 10/14 , called 611 again and this lady told me all my phones had 10/14 listed after them. She told me she didn't know what to tell me that Apple ships the phones and its out of Verizon's hands because they don't have the phones. then she told me to call Apple (and gave me the phone # ) and see if they ship preorders with more than 1 in a order when their available or wait till all are. I called them ( they laughed that Verizon had me call them) and they don't hold up orders . Called customer service back and guy said at least 10 times ....I ASSURE YOU VERIZON WILL NOT HOLD YOUR PHONES!!! i said of course they're not actually putting them in a box and waiting for all, they're sending them to other people who ordered after me. I asked him if my order could be separated/ rebuilt and do a (jump the line request) so i could get my phones when i should. He said there is no such thing at verizon....he has worked there many years and if there was he would know. Someone posted # to Internet orders so i called them Thursday morning, spoke to a very nice guy he said my phones that i should get i would and i should get an e-mail later that day and if i didnt get anything by 8:00 pm to call back. Before we hung up i asked if I didn't get anything did he know if they could cancel/separate/rebuild and do jump the line, he said they can do that and put me on hold while he spoke with a supervisor, he came back and said if nothing happened that day they would do that with my order. I got nothing, called Internet orders back at 8:30pm... went thru my history and asked them to do the rebuild. She transferred me to supervisor who REFUSED to rebuild my order, that is only for orders that have a technical error. She was also the first person from Verizon to tell me that they DO NOT ship orders in multiple shipments, they will only send when everything is available. She then said your order was given a delivery date of before 10/14 and that's when you'll get all your phones. I let her know that there is nothing about that confirmation that tells me that the phones that I ordered that had 9/19 deliver by dates would not be delivered then, 9/19 is before 10/14.

Same thing happened to me!!! They made a shady business move and they should be ashamed. Placed a pre-order for an Phone 6 and an iPhone 6 Plus at 2 AM on the 12th and got my pre-order in line just like everyone else did that morning. The 6 said delivery by 9/19 and the Plus was already back ordered to 10/7 but that's fine, I expected the Plus to be harder to get anyway. Being that both phones were eligible it made sense to just place one order given this hasn't been an issue in the past. However, Verizon moved my iPhone 6 pre-order delivery to coincide with the back ordered Plus so they don't have to ship each phone separately!!! I have to wait for something on backorder while the other is ready so they can save on shipping cost. I expected the one that I pre-ordered IN TIME FOR A 9/19 delivery and waited my turn "in (on)line" like everyone else I should get that when it told me that in the checkout, THEN send the Plus when it becomes available. I even have the confirmation email that says "Deliver by 9/19"!!! Every company you order from sends you the backorder item when it becomes in stock, they don't wait and hold the entire order for it. WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!!!
