I just used *67 to call a 800 number and this did not work? Why?

You cannot block 800-877-888-900 numbers with that feature.
Companies pay for these numbers and harvest the callers. The phone company (Verizon) should have known that.

You need to request that to your carrier. Only they can hide your number from the Caller Id feature. Its not sometihng you can do on your phone.
With that said, what does this have to do with Appleworks? Apple works is an old defunct Office suite, like iWork, and Ms Office. I'll request this be moved to the iPhone forum.

Sadly, as Call Bliss uses the built in Do Not Disturb feature, it requires that your screen be locked in order to function.
I'm hoping (and have submitted feedback) that Apple will beef up DND to work even when the screen isn't locked.

I can understand your frustrations and concerns with receiving these unknown calls! I would love to assist you with preventing these types of calls.
Sounds as though you're receiving some type of telemarketing call. Although you're unable to add the shorter numbers to your call block list, you can definitely add your number to the National Do Not Call registry http://1.usa.gov/1whONxp. I hope this will help prevent those unwanted calls. Thanks!

Whenever I call out to a select few numbers, I get an error message that says "We could not complete your call at this time. Announcement 3 switch 20-1"

"phone in use" when calling out

Macbook Pro late 2013 and Yosemite. I notice when I am docked with my 27" Apple Display (2014), undock so I can take my laptop and reconnect my display later that I can not receive a call. The iPhone and iPad ring. When I call out I get a message that the phone is in use. My work around has been to restart the Macbook Pro when I reconnect the display. My thought was maybe it had something to do with the IP addresses of both the wired and wireless LAN creating havoc. Has anyone else experienced this?

he wants to HIDE his number when he calls from the desktop. as in, a number does not appear on the screen of the person who's receiving the call. i have a skype number but want to do the same, on some occasions. how can this be done?

Hey everyone looking to hide their number,
I have been searching for how to make this work since Skype updated recently. I even spent about an hour on the live chat with a customer service rep, who was very little help at all. In the past it was as simple as Tools->Options->Calls Tab->Disable Caller ID. Well that option/setting is no longer available. But rest assured it is possible to hide your number. This afternoon I decided to try activating the caller ID, then deactivating it. By doing this it now shows my number as unknown for everyone that I call. Hope this helps you all.
TL;DR Activate caller ID, then Deactivate CallerID to hide number.

Hi I recently updated my 4s to iOS 7.1, everything works fine but when i decied to try and make a phone call i realized the calls connects but when I try to speak I get no feedback (no one answer) I thought that was a fluke well tried one more time samething, the thing is that i get no feedback when i call out, i say well i guess this **** is fuckd up not worrying cause i have another one and i just have to replace the logic board and put it on the most recent 4s i have,
Guess what? SAME ISSUE this can not be a HARDWARE issue cause I placed the 2nd logicboard (the one i dont use) on the case of my iphone and it is working so that means has to so something with software I called the Customer Care, their answer is for just 199$ they will replace my phone so nice they are so considered.
Iam just looking for answer, does anyone besides me has the issue? what should I do? What have you tried?

You wouldnt believe it, i have exactly the same issue and it happened as of last sunday day after you posted this. I have tried all the fixes on the internet and they all dont help. The only places i seem to hear people on calls is when i use Viber or tango etc. Looks like its straigh to Apple

My Galaxy S4 is blocking my number on outgoing calls. I don't have the "additonal settings" option as shown online to turn this off. Any suggestions?

That is definitely odd! There is an option to stop caller ID via our system as well. Click here http://vz.to/1yPFwJS for our Caller ID blocking info. Perhaps inadvertently it was activated and all you need is to deactivate it.

Google Voice App show Google voice number when dialing out?

I switched from the iPhone to Android because I can call out of my Android phone and the recipients see my Google Voice number.
Is this possible with Google Voice for the iPhone?

So after exhausting countless hours I just added the App "Google Search". It's not as great of an interface but I can access Google Voice and keep tabs by just checking in every so often. Better than not having Google Voice at all.

the only other option if your carrier cant block the number is to pay to change your phone number.
