Block or permit whole class numbers

Hi, there is a call center that calls me very often, i told them to not call me, but they continue, so i am adding every single number to my block list, the problem is that the number is like prefix-87xxxx and prefix-30xxxx, so locking 9999*2 numbers is not an option... is there a way to mass block numbers?
Similarly, i must be reched by an office in night time hours, i added a few numbers to my "DND" but again i want to be able to accept 999 sub phones from a class.
i tried to add and block only the first part, but it seems to not work.

Your profile shows MAC OS X 10.7.4, but your Tags include mavericks. Mavericks is OS X 10.9.x
I suspect you have Numbers 3 on your machine. Do a Spotlight search for Numbers. If Numbers 3 is on your machine, it will be in your Applications folder. Numbers 2 (Numbers '09) has been moved to a folder called iWork '09 within your Applications folder.

Is one account for a whole class possible?

Have 10.4.3 server and would like to set up a single account for a whole class. This is a school situation where the 5 to 7 year olds would not have to log in individually, as some of then have trouble even spelling their own name!
The teachers want to be able to set up a program and then just have different kids take turns, and sometimes save work to a folder.
I thought of just setting up a single account and calling it eg Room 5, and have the teacher create a folder in the docs folder named for each child. The work would not be transfered at the end of the year, too much work.
This set up needs to work when they go to the computer lab and all login and use the same program at once, on 25 computers.
I read in the Apple documentation that using multiple log such as this can cause problems as the apps store their preferences on the server, and multiple versions open at once is not desireable.
Has anyone had this type of setup, and what are the problems or is there a better way to do this?

There is a way to do what you want (although I realize you've already set things up, so this is really for the edification of other readers). Basically, what do is set up a network account where the home directory is created in the /Users folder on the local workstation. To do that:
1. Open WM and create your user record.
2. Select the Home tab. In the list of possible home directory locations on the right-hand side of the window, there may already be one for /Users (with an icon for a local disk). If there is, select it and Save. If not...
3. Click the + button underneath the home directory location list. In the dialog box, enter /Users/<uid> in the Home box at the bottom of the dialog, and click OK. (The <uid> is the user's short name.)
4. Save the record. Henceforth, whenever a user logs in on a client with this account, the client will create a home directory in its /Users folder.
Since the user's home directory (and hence its preferences) are all stored on the local workstation's disk, multiple simultaneous users don't interfere with each other; you can log in with that account on as many clients you like.

Can you accelerate depreciation on a whole class of Fixed Assets, so that they are written down to final Residual Value in one go?

I know this reply is 6 years since your question but none the less, let me try and help resolve the query.
There are options of manual depreciation and write downs but they are for individual assets.
If there is a legal change that necessitates accelerated depreciation after a certain number of years, you may configure a new depreciation key having a multi-level method that can help here.
If the number of years of life for the asset class in question is not the same for all assets, you can configure two phases in the depreciation key. The phase changeover can be done using the standard options provided by SAP or by using the custom changeover methods using BADI or Exit depending on what business functions are activated in your system.

I was kicked out of my email (rcn) and can't get back in. It happened when I blocked all permissions on an ad in the inbox page. rcn said it's a mozilla issue.

I had removed a pop up ad from my email inbox page and tried to do the same to another one on the opposite side of the page. I think this ad was not a pop up but part of the inbox page. As I did to the pop up ad, I right clicked on it, and then clicked on 'View Page Info'. I then went to the 'Permissions' window where there were 7 categories, all with the 'use default' option checked. I unchecked all of them and checked 'Blocked' for all 7.
As soon as I closed the window, I was thrown out of my inbox and was sent back to the log-in page for my email. When I went to log back in, I was unable to. I am stuck on the log-in page and it won't let me access my inbox. I called RCN, my provider, who was able to get in right away. I then used my Internet Explorer browser and was able to get into my email inbox perfectly fine. The 'tech' at rcn said it has something to do with Mozilla and tried to get me to reset it but warned me that I will lose all settings. I am hesitant to do that and I would so appreciate you fine folks at Mozilla to tell me what happened and how to fix it.

You can undo your permission changes. Probably the most relevant one is cookies. Try one or both of these methods:
(1) Page Info > Permissions tab
While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Permissions
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Permissions
(2) about:permissions
In a new tab, type or paste '''about:permissions''' and press Enter. Allow a few moments for the list on the left to populate, as this information needs to be extracted from a database.
Then type or paste ''rcn''' in the search box above the list to filter it to the most relevant domains. When you highlight a domain, you can adjust its permissions in the right pane.

How to replace a whole class?

What is the best and fastest way to replace a whole LabView class by another one?
I have developed an application based using a LV class. Then I have copied the class to a new location and improved it and I have developed new VIs in the copied class. Now I would like to bring that class back to the application with a simple "replace with...". But in the context menu it is grayed out.
The reason why I copied the class to a new location is that I wanted to keep a running version of my project and to make some minor changes in the main VI. The changes in the LV class took more time and where some basic changes in concept but without affecting the names and the connector of the subVIs. So a simple replace all VI would do. Does anyone knows whether there is such a tool? Or how do I perform this?

I am aware of changing a SubVI with Find and Replace. But the class which I have created consists of about 40 VIs whereby some of them are used about 10 times in the main program. So changing them manually takes some awful time. (The last time when I tried to do it this way LabView 8.6 crashed multiple times so I need to spend this awful time repeatedly.) While replacing the VIs of one class by the VIs of the new class both classes get mixed up. Easily VIs of the old class get overwritten by mistake.
Do you think it is reasonable to
1. change inheritance to make the old class an ancestor of the new class
2. change the class Ctls (which by the way cannot be searched using CTRL + F) from ancestor/old class to child/new class
3. save the main VI
4. undo the inheritance

Writing a whole class instance to a file

Is it possible to write an intance of a class to a file whole?
My problem is as follows I have a complicated class system for the piece of software i am currently writing this has vector classes upon vector classes upon vector classes etc. The top class is called rulelist. Having created an instance of this class in the main method and added various instances of other classes to it i want to be able to save this instance on exiting the program. I know how to write individual pieces of data to a file but is there an easier way to do this than to save all the data individualy and then re-sort it out when loading the instance again?

Blocking method 'readline()' in class BufferedReader??

I have this in some code:

              }The while loop only get executed each time my client sends a message. Where in the API does it say that readline() blocks the thread until a new message is recevied?
I thought that either the while loop terminates or else it runs all the time printing "TEST". I am not used to this kind of 'continuing conditinal' execution of a while loop so I guess there is something I missing?

Hey you're right. The BufferedReader API doesn't specifically mention blocking. However the Reader class (the superclass) mentions it. Actually I believe that all the input methods in java.io are blocking.
I'm not sure why you're not used to it. Blocking I/O is pretty common. In any event that's how it works. I believe that there is non-blocking I/O functionality provided in the java.nio package.

we are using SOA suite 11g 1.1.2 and have some issues with SDO objects. Our EJB web service returns a SDO object and calls commonj.sdo.helper.DataFactory.INSTANCE.create(Class) to construct it. This call however blocks and jrockit mission control revealed
that all cpu is consumed within org.eclipse.persistence.sdo.helper.delegates.SDODataFactoryDelegate. In a debugging session we found
that the following loop never exits:

It seems there's a mixup with the classloaders here and the exit condition is never satisfied.
The flow of events is as such: BPEL process ---(ejb binding)---> stateless session bean ----> DataFactory.INSTANCE.create(Class)
Inside the SCA-INF/lib folder of the BPEL we include a jar that contains the .class files of the EJB's remote interface.
The problem can be resolved by calling SDOHelper.INSTANCE.defineSchema() right before every DataFactory.INSTANCE.create(Class) invocation but this is a very expensive call...
Can anyone suggest why this happens and/or some solution?

Yosemite is Blocking Adobe Permissions

After installing Yosemite a few months back, I cannot open Photoshop or Photoshop Express. I get 2 different error messages 213:11 and 150:30 - they are permission problems. I have tried searching and contacting Adobe with no result. I've tried posting on their board and no response. I even purchased an upgrade/new version of Express and received a similar message trying to install. Also, my MAC (2013) is so much slower as a result of Yosemite. I'd get rid of it if I had the time and knowledge!
Sooooo, it's clearly something on my MAC that's blocking these 2 programs. The cynic in me thinks it could be so that you'll go back to buying and using only Apple photo software. So disappointed with Apple these days. Seems they are spending more time on the latest and greatest and they're not putting out quality software any longer. Sorry, I digress.
So far, I've run the disk utility and repair disk and permissions. Is there anyone out there that knows what I could do or if there is a service to help patch it? I'm not a techie, programmer or any sort of experienced person. HELP!!!!!

Adding info blocks in a custom class for Factsheet

Hi Experts,
I need to create a custom class by copying the standard class 'CL_CRM_CCKPT_PROCESS_OPEN' which should accept input as Activity Types. At present this class only accepts Number of months as Input. This added input field should accept individual multiple values & Ranges and F4 help also needs to be attached for the field.
I would like to know how to add this new input field to the class 'CL_CRM_CCKPT_PROCESS_OPEN' .

You can copy and include your fields in the class using transaction SE24.
According to your subject line you are trying to modify an existing factsheet display you own data. I would suggest instead of creating a modifying an existing class, implement your own function module and call this function module directly from the smartform used to for factsheet. This is an easier way to implement modification of factsheets instead of using the classes and displaying the data.

Now i got a JPanel in FrameGUI and i want to show the code which is in BoardPanel. Is there something i can say to my JPanel in FrameGUI, show the code of BoardPanel without duplicating it?

Stop Static Block Execution while loading class

I want to load one class using Class. forname method. But with one condition that It should not execute static body of class.

Blocking a customer using class method CMD_EI_API= MAINTAIN_DIRECT_INPUT

Hello Experts!
I am using the method CMD_EI_API=>MAINTAIN_DIRECT_INPUT to block a customer when it fails export compliance checks. It only works when the user creating an order has privileges to block the customer, which is usually not the case.
I was hoping that since this runs as part of creating an order, the system would take over to block the customer and not check the user's privileges.
Does anyone know any setting in the structures passed in where the block will take place as part of an SAP process and not under the user's role/privileges? I'm currently setting the structure element CMDS_EI_SALES_DATA-LIFSD to 'ZC' which is our custom block setting, and when the customer service rep has privileges to block the customer it works, when they don't it should still work, but it doesn't and the message returned is: You are not authorized to use Transaction XD02.

Blocking international call numbers

I am also having the same issues with international texts and I am being charged for them. I am getting messages from two numbers:
(numbers removed)
I have asked them to stop and they continue to call and text me. Is there any way you can help me to block these numbers or stop it somehow since I have been charged for the texts they have been sending me.

International incoming calls cannot be blocked. Outgoing calls can only be made if an International Dialing feature is added to your account.

Blocking calls from Unknown numbers?

Hello all,
Is there any option/application in iPhone 4S, IOS6.1.3 where I can block any calls from unknown numbers?
Specifying exactly, I want to receive calls from people only those whose numbers are saved in my phone or say Saved Contacts Only.
Nobody other than that should be able to call me.
