Block picking from unrestricted use stock when it is in schd. for delivery

Dear Experts,
I have 50 units in unrestricted use stock of particular material for a storage location in the plant. I have made two outbound deliveries for this material. When I pick 50 units of this material, these 50 units i can see in schd. for delivery and in unrestricted use stock also I can see 50 units in MMBE. Now, 50 units are in unrestricted use stock, once again i will be able to do picking of another 50 units of this material from the same storage location. (there is physical variation in stock.) Now, when i will do pgi for one outbound delivery, the stock from unrestricted use will be debited and system not allow to do pgi for another outbound delivery. (we don't want to allong negative stock). Is there any way to block picking of the stock which are in schd. for delivery. Thanks in advance.

Maybe you should set proper availability check for your deliveries / materials.
SPRO > SD > Basic Functions > Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements > Availability Check > Availability Check with ATP Logic or Against Planning
Here you can carry out of your setings.
E.g.
.. > Carry Out Control For Availability Check (transaction OVZ9)
Here you should set for proper checking group / checking rule combination > "Include deliveries" (V_441V-VBBLP) field should be set.

At the BEx level. we restricted key figure to see the Unrestricted Use Stock

Hi Arun,
my understanding is that for reversal and stock intransit you will have two types one is stock in transit from that warehouse and stock in transit to that warehouse. Accordingly you will have the values populated into either issues or receipts. And coming to BW if you can notice that BW populates the cube with a special marker called process key indicator rather than movement type, it gets the moment type along with data and i would suggest the best way to reconcile your data is to always check in your cube by taking total of your receipts sock and issue stock( any stock type) and then subtract issue from receipt and compare with figure in r/3 (IF YOU ARE USING CUBE 0IC_C03) as you know this cube has non cumulative KF so i found thats the better way to get a considerable reconciliation.

Incorrect Unrestricted Use Stock Figure in VL10h

Hi,
The unresticted use stock figure in VL10h is not correct for a sales BOM scenario as described below.
I have an order consisting of sales BOM:
Top level material Item category TAP (pricing at item) Schedule line CT (no goods movement) Stock 0
Component material Item category TAN (standard) Schedule line CP (with goods movement) Stock 1
When running VL10h the unrestricted use stock column is showing 0 for both items - even though there is 1 in stock for the component.

First check in MMBE whether the stock is not flowing against "Reserved against Delivery". Alternatively, you can check in MD04 also.
As you would be aware stock in sale order will be determined based on the schedule line category VOV6 where you should have checked the box "Availability". The control is also in Requirement Class where you can make a check.

I'm using the MCHB table but CVMLA field doesn't match with the value calculated by standard tcode.

Material movement from unrestricted use to "waste"

Hello,
we have some materials in stock that are actually good parts, but we will not sell them and pysically throw them away.
So now in SAP they are in unrestricted use and we need to remove them from there.
What movement type can we use? Just to clarify, it is no scrap, so we don't want to use 551 or 551 (Withdrawel from scrapping into unrestricted use), because this will be added to scrap then which it not is.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
Process of scrapping.
Create scrap materials using Material type ABF or a copy of ABF.
If the UOM of Byproducts & Scrap are the same then do a material to material transfer using 309 movements.
Create a sales order, Perform the Delivery & Customer Invoicing.
If the UOM is different then do a goods issue to scrap of By-Product using 551.Perform a 501 movement for scrap material & then perform the Sales order, Delivery & customer Invoicing Process.
If you want to sell scrap material, you can transfer your material type from your material type to material type "waste" or create material with material type waste.
Then the flow of scrap sales:
1)Create a scrap sales order (VA01) F
2) Scrap delivery (VL01N)
3) PGI (VL02n)
4) Performa invoice (F8) or sales Invoice (F2) (VF01) and
5) if excise is applicable for the scrap, then excise invoice (J1iin) after sales invoice.

Moving a Lot back from unrestricted use to quality inspection

Hi experts
I made GR and qulaity inspection lot is created and I made a user decision ater released it and the stock is posted to unrestricted use.
Due to manual error I need to cancel the material document and the invoice captured for that lot using MIGO t.code.
So i went to MIGO Selected cancellation with material document, I have given doc number and pressed enter. It is not allowing me cancel the material doc instead it throughing an error "You cannot cancel GR, since inspection lot is already partly posted"
How to proceed with this? pls help

Hello Srinivasan,
if you have made the UD and completed the stock posting SAP recommends that you create a bseperate return delivery for the stock (Not nice, but standard).
You could however try the following notes:

Then you can try to make the UD and return the stock.
Please note the exceptions in note 175842 concerning the reversal of stock postings.

Project material from Unrestricted plant stock.

While running MRP thru MD51 system creates Planned order or Purchse requisition for the materials which are already available as unrestricted stock in stores.As per my view system shuld not create PR or Planned order for stocked material.How to avoid this ?

Basically SAP looks at project stock differently. since it assumes that the same material code stock differs in characteristics when it comes to project. That is even though our required material is in stock it may not be suitable to our project (project requirements are highly specific) Hence it does not consider this stock. You need to run the reservation report for the project and write a BDC to transfer all the material available in the stock (if all materials are transferable). next run the MRP. These materials transfered will be blocked against the reservation based on the availability check settings.

Inspection Lot Stock Tab - To Be Posted to Unrestricted-Use Stock

Hi Vivek,
Please activate "Stock Posting in Background" indicator in Tx QS51 for your UD code as shown below -
This should solve your purpose and complete stock form QI will be posted to Unrestricted stock/Blocked stock. This is a safer process I always recommend.
Otherwise, in case you still wish to so UD posting form 'Inspection Lot - Stock Tab' manually, but want to make sure that is there is no quantity selected, then the UD shouldn't be done, then you will have to make enhancement appropriately below -

Movement type from unrestricted use to particular storage location

I have situation wherein the stock was goods receipted with referendce to a PO into unrestricted stock (without mentioning storage location).
I now want to transfer this stock to a particular storage location.
Please let me know how to do this,

How can you receive a material without mentioning the storage location in MIGO (101), it is not possible as per standard system.
Please check the PO, It must be created with account assignment that means it was consumed at the time of GR, that is the reason you do not need to enter storage location at MIGO
So if you need that material in storage location cancel that GR, change that PO receive again in desired Store

How can I reset my main user from my guest user when I forgot my password for the main user? Please help me!!!

Ok. I know I'm really stupid!
I forgot my main user password and so then allowed someone on my laptop who accidently changed over into the guest user! Now I can't get back into my main user and I was wondering if anybody could either help me reset the password from the guest user or even reboot my laptop so the memory is wiped and I can set up my main user again. Please help me!!!

Proxying a request from MSPL to UCMA when the call is destined for a federated user?

I'm trying to create an MSPL application that intercepts calls and proxies them to a UCMA application. An extremely simplified version of this would be something like:

I installed my script on my front ends, and it works for user->user calls, inbound and outbound mediation server calls, and inbound federated calls, but for some reason I can't get redirection like this working for outbound federated calls.
If I try to INVITE a user on a federated domain, the request doesn't get picked up by my script. It appears that it's bypassing the front end and going straight to the edge. If I install the same script on the edge, the script attempts to proxy
the request, but it comes back with a 404, probably because the edge is trying to redirect to an internal endpoint. I suppose I have two questions here:
1-why is the original INVITE on the call to the federated user (which should be going through the FE, right?) not triggering my script? I've set allowRegistrationBeforeUserServices to true, and installed with priority 1, which is above most other applications
on the server.
2-is there a way to change the edge server script to get the proxy to go back internally? I did test creating a 302 and setting the contact header to the SIP URI of my application, and that worked, but it meant losing the original TO address
that I need inside the UCMA app. There may still be a way to pass it through, but I don't want to start fighting with headers that may get stripped out.

It looks like "domainSupported" is not quite properly documented. It really does the opposite of what we document.
Setting it to true will cause only messages for domains that are locally supported to be sent to your application. Setting it to false will allow all domains to be sent to your application.
Make sure you have it set to false (or exclude it completely since it defaults to false, another error in the docs).
When I do this my application sees the invite destined to a federated partner. It doesn't even need to be registered before user services in this case.

i want to block a particular website so my children wont see it, but i cant seem to find a way to restrict it without having to create different accounts; i would like to just block it on this account, like on the restricted sites option on internet explorer, is there any way?

For just simple site blocking, try BlockSite: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3145/
You can password protect BlockSite, but it is possible to bypass.
For full parental controls, there is FoxFilter: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4351/ - however this seems to be fee supported.

Stopping brush from being really dark when holding it in place for a moment before moving?

I'm using my Microsoft Surface Pro 2 to do some sketching, and I have my brush set with pretty basic settings.
While using the pen with my tablet, sketching works just fine, except if I place the pen down, hold it in spot briefly (probably less than .2s), then move the pen, it draws as if Transfer was off. This is obviously extremely infuriating, having to miss out on so many strokes, and having to constantly undo, ruining work flow. The only thing necessary for this to happen is have Transfer enabled. This happens with everything other than Transfer disabled, and Transfer's settings on the default.
Can someone give me an idea on how this is happening, and how I can fix it?
Behaviour like this makes Photoshop completely useless to me.

The Surface Pro 2 is a tablet PC that runs a full version of Windows 8. I'm using the pen it comes with.
The settings for transfer are:
0% Opacity Jitter, Controlled by Pen Pressure
0% Flow Jitter, Control Off
My Opacity and Flow are both 100%.
All other settings for the brush are off.
What I want Transfer to do:
The harder I press, the more opaque the line.
What's actually happening:
If I touch down the pen for a short bit in the same spot before moving it, it's fully opaque, if I move immediately, it functions as I intend it to do.
Now that I think about it, the same thing happens with the Shape Dynamics. If I hold it breifly before moving, it makes it full sized, too. So basically, if I don't immediately start moving the pen upon touching (usually requires me to move before touching, which is very inaccurate, I lose all control.)
This behaviour is nonsensical and I simply can't paint with this happening.
