Blocked Contact still sees when I come online.

I have been wondering about what happens when I block someone, (if it is like other sites where you simply disappear from them completely or what). So I created a second account to see and friended then blocked my main account from the second. I (on the main account) get notifications of the other account coming online and then going offline. Why is it doing that and what is the point if the blocked person can still stalk me (the reason I have someone blocked to start with, now I know they can still see me!!).
I'm on my Alienware X51 desktop, Windows 7 Home Premium, Skype version 7.0.0.102, cable connection to internet modem. I've checked as much as I know how to check, but I want to appear offline ALWAYS even if that other person keeps me on their list, it seems a bit flawed that a blocked contact is merely unable to tell you they're still watching you.
*Edit* I'd like to appear offline always to these BLOCKED people, not to everyone on my list, that is ridiculous and I might as well not have a skype account if the people I want to know I'm online can't tell.

I have read majority of the posts regarding "blocked contacts" and what the "blocked contact sees." And there appears to be so much confusion.
So, simple question, in year 2015, what Exactly does the blocked contact see once blocked?
Will they see me appearing ON or OFF line from now on?
And will I still be in their contacts list? (I've read the answer is, "yes, I will appear in their contacts list, but with a ? adjacent to my name).
I just blocked my first contact and would appreciate a complete and official answer. The confusion here is quite vast. Plus, several years have gone by since last post from Skype regarding this issue. You'd think there would be a simple paragraph in guidelines stating exactly what occurs when you block a contact, or when you have been blocked by a contact.
It's not that complicated, but apparently it is because there is no clear & thorough explanation.

Is it possible to hide from my contacts when I go online? I don't change to invisible etc, I mean the actual point when I log on. Currently even if I am set to invisible, my contacts who have "notify me when my contacst come online" activated still see when I come online. Kind of defeats the whole being invisible point.

how did you know? I think the only feature included in Skype today is the feature to notify your contacts when you login as online, not when you login as invisible (which will appear as offline).
...and just tested it and still working in my case (latest Skype for windows version)

Blocked contacts able to see that im online?

Hi, i was wondering if someone could help... A while ago i blocked a friend, he messaged me a few days later asking why i hadnt been replying to his messages. When i told him i hadnt been online in a while (as i assumed it would look that way to him.) he told me that i was lying and that he had seen me online the last few days... he also told me that i was online at that time (which was true) and that his message was pending. He then came to the conclusion that i had blocked him. I kinda let it go, figuring maybe he was just trying to call me out. But recently the same thing happened with a different person.... except he just asked why i never replied even though i was always online (via my phone) So, im wondering.... does this happen to a lot of people? and how can i resolve this? i dont want people to know that i have blocked them

That said, please clarify these points:
The issue is that the blocked person still sees the blocker as online.
The blocked contact ought to see you on their contact list with an icon that looks like grey cloud with a question mark inside it, beside your name.
I have the same issue only with 1 contact, but he stays online literally all of the time regardless of being blocked or not. Computer off, not logged into skype on mobile and still ALWAYS online.
When you block a contact, the contact would appear on your active contacts list with an icon beside it that looks like a red cloud with a line through it. unless you remove the contact from your active contact list, which means the contact stays in the background on your blocked contacts list.
If you are reporting that you are not seeing what I have described in both instances, screen shots would be most helpful (be sure no personally identifiable details are shown). I n in your reply post, please do include the computer or mobile device, its operating system, and what version of Skype you use when you are seeing this behavior

How do I set an alert to let me know when someone comes online in Messages?

I was pretty sure that in iChat there was a feature to alert me when someone comes online. I can't seem to find this in Messages in Mountain Lion. Does anyone know where that went?

Why do deleted contacts still show when starting new text messages?

I have an iPhone 4s. I've deleted many contacts but if I start a new text message that begins with the letter of someones contact I deleted, they show up. How can this history be deleted? I have a friend with an iPhone 5 and this does not happen on that model.

just thought you like to know having apple do a hard reset to my phone didn't fix the problem I still have the deleted contact show up when I text anyone who has the same letters in their name. Infact the apple store employees and phone operators told me I completely stumped them and they have no idea how to fix this since that contact does not show up anywere else and a hard reset also failed. they said that eventually maybe my phone will fix itself with one of there upgrades but if I should figure out how to fix it on my own to please let them know how I did it.

I block them and they appear in my blocked contacts list, then a few days later they appear back in my list of contacts.
All of my privacy settings are set so I am only visible to my contacts and I am not visible on the web.
How can I stop this happening? I thought if I blocked a contact that was it and they would not be able to contact me again.

I blocked contact should never be able to send you messages or call you again. Can you double check if it is the same username? It may be possible that they are using another account with the same display name.

Ok, so I just didn't read enough posts; here is the solution: As crazy as this sounds, you turn on siri, set your passcode lock to immediate, then in the passcode lock list, where it says "allow access when locked", you turn off the button that says "siri"... I tried this several times before with no success but I gather that it doesn't work until it is actually locked with the passcode. I did this and now the home button does nothing (as it should) when locked.

The subject says it all. I have 3 windows pcs and with in minutes of a mac coming online and going in the internet the router basically dies. The connection is dropped and I have to restart the router. I thought it was a bad one so I exchanged it and brought it home. Hooked it up and same problem. See above. I need to get rid of these contacts.

Delete the Contacts from your phone.
Go to Settings > iCloud.
Delete the iCloud Account, but keep the data on your phone.
Go back into Settings > iCloud and set up the account again, and manually create a new backup.
That will help your iCloud backup to be 'correct' from now on. For the contacts appearing as you create a new text message, that will probably last for a while.
Otherwise, you have to start completely fresh & new; no restoring from any backups.

Notify me when a specific user comes online

As said in subject, seems to be reasonably better feature, than notify me when users come online.
Can be implemented via mouse menu over contact. Same as here:

or even better, "notify me once when this user comes online" with missed notification on skype tray icon if notification was missed. Would be a great feature.
(And yes, please reduce skype files size and and all that social posts integration, much better if social integration would be a super cool option just to call people over a stable 3g connection)

have a text convo with the person you want to delete. Go to the top contact in the text convo, hit edit contact, and delete that contact.
That resolution came from another thread on this issue, and this did solve to poster's issue.

When i connect to skype using my mobile contacts that are blocked are telling me they see me online. This doesnt happen if i connect with my PC.
How is this possible and how can i make sure that a blocked contact stays blocked independently of how i sign in?

using your mobile device, can you check if those blocked contacts claiming that they can see you when you are online are listed in your blocked contact list? You can also just remove them from your contact list (apart from blocking) if you don't wish them to see when your online. Blocked contacts will always see you as offline, and removed contacts (the same with blocked and removed contacts) will not see your online status.

Contact showing offline when online

Hello, I using (newest) Skype on my computer, and one time i used it too on Windows Phone... First time when i get trouble to other see im online but no i will logout all devices online.. Sooo/showplacesand/remotelogout .So, its helped, but anyway, yesterday i taked a sleep my computer... After a 20 minutes ago has powersupply stopped work so Network card etc has stops working... (so PC fully shuted down). But anyway, its will be STILL VISIBLE like as im Online??? Why??? Actually result from /showplacesYou have 1 online endpoints:
