Blocked for your security - no way to regain acces...
Hi,
I woke up today to find my Skype account blocked. This is a major bummer for me as it is my main source of communication for my job, and I've taken the palliative step of creating a temporary Skype account in order to keep communicating with my boss & co.
Meanwhile, I went to the support/recovery form, filled it in to the best of my abilities and... "This part of the website is currently down".
The issue most likely arose due to something I noticed a short while back. Someone purchased an 800min subscription to Ukraine (which seems to be pretty common according to Google). I immediately took the following steps:
- Full scan of every PC I use for Skype using the latest AV definitions. This yielded nothing
- Password change
- Deactivated subscription
The issue went away. Three days later, the banhammer went down regardless.
There is no info on how to contact Skype support anywhere, or even if there IS such a thing as Skype support. What am I supposed to do?

Configure arguments

I was able to update to version 10.0.1 via Help > About Firefox. Like John99 says it was updated a couple of days ago. However, the problem of WebGL and GPU still remains. @zerofire. I have always built my computer and 'am a great fan of AMD. I hate Intel's blue Death Signs. We here in India do not like anything automated on our PC other than antivirus and antimalware along with pre-scheduled running of CCleaner and Defraggler. Once in a while I run CCleaner's Registry Cleaner. Even Windows Security Alerts are turned off. Windows XP and SP2 for PC and Windows 2000 for server are the most used. Not interested in SP3 or Vista as the transcription work I do requires me to just have XP or SP2. May later add on Windows 7 via dual booting. -

surely the best tips and hints would be as follows:
1: skype, implement privacy settings that actually work. if you are unable to do so, do not offer them, and do not claim that they work.
2: try another provider.

Please try this:
Please right click on the Skype Icon in your system tray and change your status to "Offline" for 5 seconds and then back to "Online".
Note: In almost all cases, this will fix this issue when/if it is found and needs to be done only once.

The current Shockwave Flash version is 16.0.0.296 as of 2015-02-12.
The blocking message is obsolete, because it refers to a much earlier set of versions of Flash.
Does every version of Flash have a vulnerability, or are there some that are actually clean (for more than a few seconds)?
Can somebody fix the blocking message to reflect the real reason for blocking?

The obsolete blocking message seems to have been mentioned, in slightly different terms, by quite a few people over the past several months. It would seem to me that the linkage between blocking decisions and the message to the users is weak. -
