Blocked messages of Facebook

McAfee has blocked 2 banners of Facebbok whilst playing Zynga games on there I do have pics but do not know what to do to put them on here. Can anyone explain why McAfee has done this and how to rectify it. Also how do I put pics on here

As I have said I don't rate McAfee or BT Netprotect at all. My advice would be to uninstall it. It causes more problems than it solves and is a resource hog. There are better free antivirus programs such as Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG 2013 Free or Avast Free.
Do a search of BT Netprotect /McAfee on this forum to see the problems.
If you do decide to uninstall it use this link and remember to run the mcafee removal tool after you have restarted your computer.

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

No way to do that on a non-jailbroken iPhone. Why don't you just passcode protect your phone? That way no one but you can use it...unless they know your passcode.

Standard rule of the internet - if it is clearly too good to be true, it most certainly isn't true.

Even when I add a Trusted File location, I still recieve the Allow / Block message?

We use the "Protected Mode at startup" with Acrobat Reader 10.x and when we added trusted location, then the allow / block message disappears. Sadly, with Acrobat 11.x even after add the folder locations to the Trusted list, the PDF file still ask "Allow / Block"
Is there anything else I need to do with 11.x to make the message fo away, without turning off Protected Mode?

Like what file you are trying to access and the location etc.

Found my answer in another thread- this is what I did
GO to System Preferences > Users > Right Click on your Name > Advanced Options > and refresh your UUID
Restart your System and the widgets are all back
This solution worked fine for me!

Firefox crashes when replying to messages on Facebook

This is the most annoying crash, although it crashes frequently. When I'm responding to a message on Facebook, it crashes only if I type in a long message. I can do short replies fine, but if it's more than a paragraph, FF crashes. I saw this on here before, but there was no solution. Have you found one yet?

Secuirty block message?????

recieve a secuirty block message when my pdf file is open when i go to save it. it reads Acrobat does not allow connection to:/contracts/update/207923 the file is in an online program I use for work and when u click save should usually store back in the program rather than on the computer, can anyone help??????

A PDF file is always downloaded and opened on your local computer - it cannot be re-saved onto a web server, and can only save to a networked drive if the mounted volume has write permission.

After updating to the newest update when I type messages in Facebook or gmail I am unable to see at what am typing as I am unable to move the message up..is there a fix?

The Split Keyboard feature may have been enabled accidentally when you updated.
If the keyboard is up on the middle of the screen, or covering text and the text is not moving up as expected - tap and hold down on the little keyboard and icon and select - Dock
You can turn the split keyboard off in Settings>General>Keyboard>Split Keyboard>Off.

Dreaded "port 3689 blocked" message when trying to sync Apple TV

I have a suggestion that MIGHT help others . . .
I, too, received the infamous "3689 blocked" message when syncing my ATV (1st gen) to iTunes. Never had the issue before, maybe the latest update to iTunes had something to do with it?
Anyway, I tried everything . . . turning off firewall, adding access to port 3689 (TCP protocol) for the Apple TV in my router software, etc. All to no avail. Same error. Then, I came across a reference online to adding access to port 5353 (UDP protocal) . . . that was the trick (at least for me). So, include both in your firewall access and/or router port forwarding access and see if that does the trick for you.

You don't need to, just check your firewall settings and ensure that access is allowed to iTunes.
Are you running any other security software on your Mac.

Firefox "pop up" when I recieve a instant message on Facebook Chat

Since I upgraded to Mac Os X Lion, I have a problem using Firefox with Facebook : whenever someone send me an instant message on Facebook, Firefox pops out and come at the front screen.
For example, if I m writing something in mail, if John Smith send me "Hello", Firefox appears, so does the chat window. It's really annoying because if I'm trying to read something while having a discussion on FB, I'm interrupted...
It happens whenever I'm on the main chat (any page of Facebook with the chat opened) or on the popout page (https://www.facebook.com/presence/popout.php), or even if the tab shown is another site.
It happens with all version of Firefox (3, 4, 5 and 6), and only with firefox (tried Opera, Chromium and Safari ; don't have this problem).
I haven't heard anyone having this problem, but now I have to use chromium for Facebook and Firefox for the rest of websites...

The current Shockwave Flash version is 16.0.0.296 as of 2015-02-12.
The blocking message is obsolete, because it refers to a much earlier set of versions of Flash.
Does every version of Flash have a vulnerability, or are there some that are actually clean (for more than a few seconds)?
Can somebody fix the blocking message to reflect the real reason for blocking?
Where can I find a version that is not vulnerable, or is that a pipe-dream?

Thanks for the information about how to get the most recent version of Flash. Updating from within Firefox only got me to 296, and then claimed it was up to date, just a few minutes before I posted the question. Clearly it was days out of date.
The obsolete blocking message seems to have been mentioned, in slightly different terms, by quite a few people over the past several months. It would seem to me that the linkage between blocking decisions and the message to the users is weak.
