Blocked outgoing connection /Firewall?

So I have application that I blocked before from incoming and outgoing connections. Today when I allow it to communicate by turning on "allow connections" in firewall pref pane it doesnt want to connect to update server, I turned off firewall and the same problem persists. It feels like it stored some files and doesnt let me communicate to its server no matter what.
- I ersed from preferences com.apple.alf.plist
- I reinstalled the program
Im not using any 3rd part firewall blocking apps and it feel like something is blocking connection out of my computer.

You are correct - Cloud Database Service users cannot manage the Oracle Wallet themselves. The Cloud APEX instance is configured with the Oracle Wallet that includes 76 common root Certificate Authority certificates. The "GeoTrust Global CA" certificate is among them (StartSSL is not).
It seems that you are using the "GeoTrust(R) SSL Trial" certificate, which cannot be validated using the provided Oracle Wallet (perhaps the trial certificate is limited in some way). As an example, I compared the certificate chain used by [https://jquery.org/] and it matches yours exactly (same root CA, same intermediate CA). However, they have "QuickSSL(R)" certificate and it can be successfully validated using the provided Oracle Wallet.
So, it seems that if you upgrade your trial certificate to the full certificate, you should be able to consume your web service from the Cloud Database Service.

Block incoming connections to ix2-dl by internal firewall/iptables

How do I block incoming connection to ix2? I opened rsync and forwarded the port but I need to block all IP except one. How do I do that?
I tried iptables, but they seem not to be working ("libkmod: ERROR ../libkmod/libkmod.c:505 kmod_lookup_alias_from_builtin_file: could not open builtin file '/lib/modules/2.6.31.8/modules.builtin.bin'").

The ix2-dl NAS is behind Windows NAT (RASS) and so I cannot apply firewall rules from there.
I think you should add firewall (e.g. iptables based) in next update.

Detect outgoing connections/allow user to block them?

I'm looking for software that will detect when an application is opening up an outgoing connection, and prompt the user to allow/disallow it. I've been googling around and found one for MacOSX that does this called [url=http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/index.htmllittle snitch[/url]but it seems to be exclusively for MacOS. Is there an equivalent for LINUX?

I have read something about that before, at the time, what I read was that there wasn't (yet) no way to do that kind of control, only port control, but people were looking into it and discussing the best way to do that.
If I remember correctly, something half hay there was SELinux, but that it wasn't as flexible as what you are asking.
I've seen this maybe 1 or 1 and a half years ago so maybe something like that was already implemented.

In my imac, I have my 10.8 firewall set to block all incoming connections.
How can I control and monitor outgoing connections?
I have not heard good things about littleSnitch or tcpBlock.

i was wondering how do i setup the firewall to block in/out traffic of apache to my network. as I am a web dev I need local access to apache but I don't to have it serving other computers on my network. maybe i need a custom rule for that ? anyway i couldnt find where i could setup that ..

Though it might be useful, I wouldn't call Little Snitch a 'real firewall program'. I'd call OS X's ipfw a real firewall program, though it's mostly unused in Leopard. The Leopard application firewall is also not as useless as you seem to believe.

Outgoing connections take long

Hi. I've the feeling, that outgoing connections take long / very long. When I connect via ssh to a server it takes 30-60 seconds until the server answers. Connect with ICQ, the same problem. I think it's a local problem, because it works very fast on tiger. Are the any firewall properties to set it.

Yeah, I get the same thing. Adium won't even connect to msn. SSH takes anywhere from 30-60seconds to connect.
I've still got a g4 iBook running 10.4 with no problems at all.
I've set my firewall to be off as far as I know.

There has been a lot of discussions about these and what I can tell you from that is Team-Viewer is an application that is really difficult to block as it jumps from port to port to be able to reach their servers to the point they can use Port TCP/80 and I am quite sure you do not want to block that.
Some people have talked about instead of filtering the traffic to their IPs (as there are many many) to use DNS inspection with regex and then block their domain instead.

I have even seen that it can jump to port TCP/443 (HTTPS) where the traffic goes encrypted so the firewall will not be able to filter this as the traffic will not go in clear text.
The only way You could make this happen is if you have a Next-Generation Firewall and you implement the CX module to be Fully Application Aware and filter the Team-Viewer application (You might even enable SSL Decryption in case it uses port 443).

Block incoming connection from ARDAgent?

Since I installed Snow Leopard, I have a window that pops up and tells me if I want to block incoming connection from ARDAgent(Remote Desktop App) every time I log in or turn on the computer, no matter if I block or allow incoming connections. Can anyone tell me how to stop this?

The blocking of incoming connections is in System Preferences>Security>Firewall
I think (not in front of a Mac at the moment). I would have thought that once
disabled it would remain disabled. Are you running in an admin account?

It sounds like you are having trouble using the screen sharing function. I want to recommend the troubleshooting from this article named:

Setting blocking NNTP connections?

Do you guys know if there is a firewall setting etc that might be blocking NNTP connections? I have looked thru my preferences, but found nothing. I have been unable to connect to my local ISP's newsgroups yet the hardwired PC in my house can connect fine.

NetBiosID if necessary if you connect to windows shares, it's part of the MacOS, it's not a threat.
KCD is to the best of my knowledge a part of the mac file transfer process for various protocols. It does not appear to be malicious, but rather a part of the Mac OS. You may want a second opinion on that one.

You have different options:
1. Keep the payment block in the vendor master.
2. Keep payment block in the payment terms OBB8 and assign the payment terms in vendor master.
3. Block the vendor line items at the time of F110. For this you must have created a payment block for proposal.
4. You can block the invoice line items on the vendor at the time of posting or by using FB02 or through mass change in FBL1N.
