Blocked plug ins... how to unblock?

I just updated software on my MacBook and now I can't seem to get video ...
I get a message/icon that says 'blocked plug ins' and link to down load Flash, which I have done.
Doesn't seem to make it work.
Any guidance is appreciated.

I'll assume you mean Flash. If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 5.
1. If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, sign in to your YouTube account and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.
2. If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then from the menu bar select
 ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.
3. Triple-click the line below to select it:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu. A folder should open. Delete the following item, or anything with a similar name, if present:
Flash Player (failing).plugin
You may be prompted for your login password.
4. Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from this page:
Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player
Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
5. If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked Enable plug-ins.
6. Select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.
7. In the Safari preference window, select
Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
Close the window. Then select
 ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.

Last year my system began doing "blocked plug-in" on anything video. Heretofore, I had not had a problem with this. How do I turn it off?

How can you fix blocked plug ins

i am having a problem with displays i keep getting a message that says blocked plug ins when i try to watch something or play games

If you use Safari try this first
1) open safari
2) click on "Safari" button next to the Apple logo (on the top left side)
3) choose Preferences
4) under security section click on manage website settings....
There you can see what plug-ins you have and change their status "Allow" "blocked" etc

I recently started getting blocked plug in's and would like to know why.
How can this issue be resolved.
I have upgraded my Mac Lion to Snow Leopard. It has 2.66 GHz Intel Core Processor and 2G Memory.

Blocked plug-ins. I've downloaded the latest Adobe Flash player after "Delete all" in the System Preferences\Adobe Flash Player Advanced tab, moved the flash player plug-ins from disabled internet plug-ins to internet plug-ins in the Library folder, allowed all plug-ins in Safari Preferences and in the System preferences. Is there anything I've missed because non of these solutions that I found in the Support Community have solved the issue.

Just download the new version from adobe.com and install it.

All Plug-ins enabled, no extensions, this is killing my ability to bid on jobs from a site. Can you check to see if you have "enable plug-ins" checked in Safari's preferences dialog, under the security tab? If not, enable it and check.
It seems to be a browser specific issue. Try a different browser like chrome or firefox, check if it works there.
