Blocked plugin for embed html youtube video?

I had a video from youtube running well(embed html object from muse menu) as i was designing my website, now it appears a message instead of the video, and it says blocked plugin.
I didn't add any plugins to muse and i already pause any network filter that i have on?

Mac or Windows?
Muse uses the system's browser technology for both the Preview mode within Muse and creating the proxy images for inserted HTML and HTML-based widgets in Design view.
YouTube, Vimeo and others still make heavy use of the Flash plug-in. Say what you will about Flash, it's still the most reliable way to play video in a browser. I suspect the Flash Player you have installed in Internet Explorer (if you're on Windows) or in Safair (if you're on the Mac) is out-of-date. Once you update IE or Safari to the latest version of Flash Muse should be able to once again create the proxy images for Design view and play the video in Preview mode.

  • How to embed a YouTube video in keynote on ipad2

I am new to using keynote on the ipad2 and wanted to know the steps, if there are any, to embed a YouTube video into keynote.  Any suggestions?

Yes, and if that presents any problems, you do have the You Tube application already installed on iPad.  It is a native application and you can watch any You Tube video through this app.
Safari is a great webrowser.  But if you want to wach any videos on iPad, find the App in the App store and you won't have any issues.  For example, you could be on CNN.com through Safari and if you try to click on a video, you likely won't be able to watch it.  But, if you download the CNN app from teh App Store, you'll be able to watch all CNN videos through the App.  It is a really logical and safe way to see what you want to see.

  • How do I embed a youtube video in a flash web page?

I am attempting to embed a youtube video in a flash web page I created. I have been able to do this in html on static sites and thought I might be able to do the same in flash. Can anyone walk me thru the steps to do this?

    Thank you Rob,
I am VERY new to actionscript and have an additional question:
I saw this in the beginning notes of the document link you sent me:
Use the following URL to load the chromeless player into your
application and build your own custom controls in Flash:
    http://www.youtube.com/apiplayer?version=3
how do I do this? Do I do this in actionscript (how) or the import
    feature?
Any additional assistance you give me will be greatly appreciated

  • Embed multiple YouTube videos in Captivate 5.5

I have multiple YouTube videos that I would like to insert into one Captivate file, each video on a separate slide. If the learner moves away from the slide, I'd like the video to stop. If they should return to the slide, ideally the video would be a the beginning point.
I've been searching for a while. I found one where it will play one YouTube video per Captivate file, but not multiple videos. Also that one would show a transparent gray over the video while it played.
    Thank you for any assistance.

    Erik,
Thank you for replying. I apologize that I did not reply sooner.
I thought I found a widget that I could embed the YouTube videos within a slide, but was having problems trying to get it to work.
I changed my plan and now have the video opening in a separate window. Because we do not have a technical person to help us for possible future issues this will be a better direction for us to move in.
    Again, thank you!

  • Trying to embed a youtube video and my site keeps crashing.  what's up?????

Why is my Youtube video crashing my site????

Okay, here is the answer ....
When you go to Youtube to get the embed code you have to now select the 'Enable Privacy-Enhanced Mode' - it used to be checked by default in Youtube

  • [solved] Looking for a simple YouTube video converter

    Hello,
I am not a video expert and all my video editing is limited to converting my videos to a YouTube optimised format before uploading onto the platform.
At the moment I am using transcoder. However, I would prefer an other more minimal program which comes with predefined export profiles for optimal quality for YouTube.
Does anyone of you use a very minimal and leightweight converter which is sufficient for YouTube videos?
    Regards

Since YouTube will re-encode anything you upload the best practice is to upload the original content. This isn't always practical of course, so you can re-encode it for a more manageable file size, but still high enough quality that it won't needlessly suffer when YouTube takes a dump on it. Here's an example that will work with ffmpeg from the repository,  ffmpeg-1:1.0-2:
    ffmpeg -i input -c:v libx264 -crf 18 -preset slow -pix_fmt yuv420p -c:a copy output.mkv
The two options of interest are -crf and -preset. The basic methodology when using crf is to use the highest value that still gives you an acceptable quality and the slowest preset you have patience for. See  FFmpeg and x264 Encoding Guide for more information. This example will also simply copy the audio from the input to the output. If you want to re-encode the audio, such as if your input audio is uncompressed, replace "-c:a copy" with "-c:a libmp3lame -q:a 3" or "-c:a libvorbis -q:a 6" for a high-quality output.

This might be do the job? - http://shahidhussain.com/optimize-video … th-ffmpeg/
That is a terribly outdated example: it resizes the video to 320x240, changes the frame rate, and uses 800 bits/s for a video bitrate. That's bits, not kilobits!

  • Why does Must quit when I embed a Youtube video?

I am designing a fairly simple website. I have sucessfully embedded Google Ads.
When I try to embed my Youtube channel, Muse quits.
To trouble shoot, I started a new blank website and tried to embed again. No luck, Muse still crashes.
Here is the embed code from Youtube:
    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/VLJRNQLb4XI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Any help will be much appreciated!

When you get your embed code from YouTube make sure you check the 'Enable Privacy' checkbox.

  • Trying to embed a youtube video on phone layout- not working

Whenever I embed the following link for the phone layout, it appears to work well, until I try accessing the site on my phone and the video does not appear at all:
    <iframe width="320" height="180" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/QtJmckpjmfU?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I have taken the original code and cut the width and height in half to fit on the phone display, but for some reason It does not appear on the live website when I access it on my phone.
The desktop version works great. Here is the page I am trying to upload it to:
    Stop Copying Me
    Thanks
Message was edited by: Liam Dilley - Link was throwing up an error and the forums marked this for moderation, so I edited out the link.

Have you tried changing the value of src attribute in your code to begin with “http:// rather than “// ?
So your src value should look like http://www.youtube.com/embed/QtJmckpjmfU?feature=player_embedded
    See if that works.

  • How to embed a Youtube video into a Flex application

Youtube provides an url and a section of html div code for embedded in html. But they do not work within Flex.
I may be able to use ExternalInterface to call a HTML iFrame that embed the URL. But any better ways?
Youtube uses Flash Player. Can we access the FLV file directly? Any suggestions?

    hi,
create loader(s) or use SWFLoader and use runtime loading to load different YouTube players into your Flash (flex based) movie:
    http://code.google.com/apis/youtube/flash_api_reference.html
There are samples in TourDeFlex - but they are currently all but broken 404 (including standalone air applicaton version):
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/tourdeflex.html
(see section "Could Api > YouTube" - maybe it will work soon),

  • Imac freezes when listening to NPR for halfway through Youtube videos, etc

    Hello,
I am having a problem with my iMac, and other post didn't seem to touch on this exact subject:
Everytime I am listening to NPR radio (online newscast stream), the stream will freeze repeatedly, thus essentially disabling me to listen. Also, this will occasionally happen when watching video on Youtube, Vimeo, etc. My iMac doesn't itself freeze, just the newscast/video. Is this a problem with my computer?
I installed an extra 4GB of RAM, thinking this would help, but to no avail. In fact, it seems worse. Anyone know what might be causing this?
    Thanks in advance,
    _ j

It's probably nothing to do with your iMac but the stream coming from the provider. Where I'd begin looking is your w-fi settings. For example if you live in an area with lot's of wi-fi networks you could be competing for bandwidth with your neighbors. This can be easily solved by changing the wi-fi channel. Most wi-fi networks use channels 5 or 6 as their default channels and most users are too lazy to change the channel although there are 11 to choose from. My recommendation is to download and install iStumbler and see which channels are being used. Then it's a simple matter of changing your channel. If you're using an Apple router (Airport Express, Airport Extreme or Time Capsule) then simply launch Airport Utility and make the change. If you're using a third party router then look in the manual to see how to change channels.
