Blocked scheduling defect equipment

Dear expert,
I have a query regarding defective equipment.
I used serial number management to track the history of equipment.
I replace equipment with the new one. After i dismantle defective equipment the equipment status is become AVLB (available). then, when i GI to Order that defective equipment using movement type 262, equipment status become ESTO (in warehouse).
My question is: is it possible to make automatic scheduling maintenance plan become "Blocked" (can't run scheduling) because the equipment status is ESTO? The maintenance plan should be able to be schedule again after we change the equipment number in the maintenance plan to the new one (new equipment). Is it possible?

I dont think there is any standard requirement for this.
You can check with abaper, to give a batch job... to pick the equipments with status ESTO and to deactivate the maintenance plan relevant to that equipment...
Also check whether u can do any enhancement in IP25 - Set deletion flag...
Where u can enter Equipment Status and search for the maintenance plan
Or
select the Equipment which have the ESTO status, enter it in IP25 and Execute
Excute in Test Run and then remove the Tick and Execute ... The plans corresponding to the equipments, the deletion flag will be set...

As I mentioned in my previous explanation.
step1: All the trunks maintenance should have special dedicated order types
step2: Create the User status profile as per your requirment i.e
a.) Maintain the status 0010: Mainteance
b) Maintain the status 0020: Ready to deliver
After maintaining the status assign this status profile to Order type.
So now your status is ready for the dedicated order types for truck maintenance
Now When ever you create order for truck ( example in your case truck is equipment) you see two user status
1. Maintenance
2. Ready to deliver
take the help of ABAP person with user exist ask him to put the check while creating the delivery VL01N system should check the status.
IF the user status of the order is Maitnenace it should allow to create the delivery
if and only if the stus is ready to deliver it should allow to create the delivery.
With this you can able to block the truck( equipment) to create the delivery when under maintenance.
Note: you can create status profile in OIBS.( which has create option)
With this you can map ur senario.

Delivery block at item level in sales order,Qty should not be confirmed

Dear all
We have a below requirment
We will have multiple line items in sales order and put delivery block at item level.If delivery block is put at item level it should not confirm the qty and pass on to MRP
But if we put at header level delivery block,schedule line qty at item level are not getting confirmed.So requirements are not passed to MRP-This is correct .Working as per SAP standard configuration.
Can you tell how to activate the same for item level delivery block.if same delivery block is put at item level,it is confirming the quantity.But we don't want confirmation of qty to happen.
Can you give us solution

We had similar issue , there will be confirmed quantity but the requirement will not transfer to MRP , We used Item category configuration ( Copied new item category assignment and it should behave as Inquiry item category)
Check OVZ7 T code for customizing the u201CDelivery Blocku201D in your sales document to block Confirmation block
Check the customizing OVZ8: if the flag Transfer of Requirement
Transfer of requirements of the requirement class should be ON.
In the sales order the requirement type is determined by the combination sales order item + MRP type.

Schedule line, delivered quantity disappeared

We have a sales order with four line items. All are the same material, except the quantities and prices are different. On several of these positions we have had (partial) deliveries. When we check the schedule lines we can clearly see which quantity already has been delivered for that particular line.
Except for item line 20. We have already delivered and invoiced 15.000 pieces, but this is not displayed in the linking schedule line. The total line item quantitiy is 52.500 pieces and this is the quantity we see in the schedule line (already confirmed).
I have check SAP note 717627 and the following is stated there:
A partial delivery is already created for a request item.
If you now set a delivery block at schedule line level, the sent quantity (VSMNG) is no longer assigned to the delivery-blocked schedule line.
The sent quantity may no longer be able to be assigned to a schedule line, because there is no longer a schedule line open at the time of delivery.
This system behavior is standard and intentional.
In R/3 there is no fixed assignment between the delivery and the order schedule line. The assignment is determined dynamically and depends on the delivery-relevance of the schedule line.
If the delivery block is then removed again, a new assignment of the quantities delivered is performed for order schedule lines.
And:
This is intentional, standard behavior.
Could this relate to the problems I am facing?

I have not presented my problem to them. It is ofcourse possible that this SAP note is not applicable for my problem, but I noticed the first paragraphs as relevant.
The problem now seems solved by the way. An order desk/planning empoyees has changed the order quantity and the confirmed quantity to 15.000 pieces. So this line is now fully delivered. Th edelivered quantity is now stated in the schedule line.

Equipment Hirarchy with functional location

Hi, I am trying for Equipment Hirarchy in functional location. I have one main equipment and 4 sub equipment of same type. I want to give specific description each sub equipment.Everytime when I dismantle and install this sub equipment, I want the description and position remains unchanged. How can it be done.

I will be dismantling the defective equipment and installing new equipment. I will the assign same position number to the new equipment. Here I want to give a name to the position number. example "Cylinder Position 1". So whenever I dismantle and new equipment to that position, I should get the position description automatically.

Scheduling orders within 180 days

Hi, I'm setting up a working environment using CDP and block schedule.
I have the master data set, orders are created correctly but I'm not being able to schedule orders within a period shorter than 180 days. I have tried this in block scheduled and not block scheduled resources and same thing happened in both.
Even if I try to schedule a single order in the whole resource the same thing happens. Resource don't have shuts or things like that defined.
I though the 180 days referred to the planning parameters set up in the resource but if I change this nothing happens.
Any help is welcomed.

Hi Diego,
Check the factory calendar assigned the time streams maintained for resources and re-generate the time stream in the resource. Also check if there is inbound resource (IBR) assigned in the location master. if IBR assigned, check and re-generate the time stream assigned to it.

Outbound Scheduler (Transaction SMQS)
If the Outbound Scheduler is responsible for sending and executing these LUWs, and the logon data in transaction SM59 in the destination is incomplete, then any subsequent LUW calls might be executed under the logon data of a previous user. This occurs if the destination scheduler is already running under another user when the LUW is called and no logon data is maintained in transaction SM59. In this case, the destination scheduler runs under the user that started the scheduler (and this user's language). This means the destination scheduler runs under the wrong logon data, as does the processing of the subsequent LUWs.
Until now, destinations could only be registered in the Outbound Scheduler if the logon data (client, user, password, language) had been defined completely in transaction SM59 (if LUWs always needed to be processed under a specific user and language). Destinations with incomplete logon data could be registered only if the user and language was not important. In addition, some internal destinations (NONE/SPACE) do not allow you to enter a user or language in transaction SM59. For this reason, and for tRFC compatibility, you can only register these destinations in the Outbound Scheduler with the optional Without tRFC flag.

Scheduler in Sqldev

Hi all,
In my sqldev 3.2
I right click the module "Scheduler" > New Job > entered job name > type of job (pl/sql block) > scheduled the job> finiished.
But when I check the tree. I can not see the job I created. How to I find it?

SQL Developer is just a GUI client. It sends SQL statements to the database. It returns results. Some (much) of the sql it sends to the database is what it sends on its own behalf, like selecting from various data dictionary views to populate the navigation trees, but in the end, it's still just a matter of sending sql and displaying the results. Nothing to 'sync'.
Perhaps you just failed to click a 'refresh' button somewhere.

Changing basic finish date in Preventive maintenance orders

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to block PP work centre when maintenance schedule the equipment for preventive maintenance. I am making system condition as zero in generated preventive maintenance order but basic finish date is not changing in the order automatically. Can anybody please explain how to bring this? Finally my requirement is system should change basic finish date and time as time given in operation of task list.

I have done all setting and tested but there is no change.
My client requirement is like this - whenever maintenance plans are scheduled, for the scheduled dates, production capacity should not be considered by production. We could do this for breakdown orders but not happening for PM orders unless we change the finish date.
The issue is to get the finish date automatically when scheduling maint.plans with respect to values given in operations. Please suggest how to get the basic finish dates automatically.

Appalled by Verizon's lack of honesty and customer service

I am so frustrated with Verizon right now...I have been with Verizon for over 10 years. My phone stopped working, and was replaced through the insurance. I was past my 45 days in returning the phone, but spoke with SEVERAL representatives who told me that I would still be refunded when the phone was returned. I have tracking that shows that the phone was received, and now I'm being refused a refund.
This is all after I have been inappropriately charged (automatic payment was supposed to have been cancelled until the equipment charge was refunded, but was in stead charged twice, costing me overdraft and late fees, not to mention the HOURS upon HOURS on the phone). My service has been suspended nearly every week due to the charge, so now I've also racked up multiple reconnection fess.
I have spoken with several representatives about this to no avail, and at this point I am prepared to file a lawsuit to either have the charge refunded or have the equipment returned. We're also looking into service with another provider, despite Verizon's monopoly over the towers in our area. I'd rather pay for less-than-great signal and be treated properly.
Has anyone had any luck getting charges for defective equipment refunded past the 45 day mark?

I am currently going through the same issue! Like you, I was unable to return my original phone ASAP, but spoke to a representative who granted me a 90 day extension starting the day we spoke. I was finally able to send out the phone near the 90 day expiration date, but I made sure I sent it out with enough time for the company to receive the phone before the expiration date. Well, apparently, Verizon had shipment delays due to weather conditions, and because they got my phone later than they wanted (even though it was not my fault at all), they are charging me a $599.99 fee. I've spoken to a couple of reps since the first rep who granted me the extension, and it seems like there is an internal issue within the company. A lot of "I don't see any notes from the previous rep you spoke to", and "I don't know why that rep would tell you that since it is untrue", and "I'm sorry for the misleading information you received", but no help in trying to resolve it. The only consistent response I've been getting is "I can transfer you to our financial department to set up a payment plan to pay off the fee", but I refuse to set up a payment plan because I'm not paying that fee! I even suggested that if there were no other options and I absolutely had to pay the fee, then I would like for the original phone to be sent back to me, since that is essentially what I'm paying for, and they are refusing to send me the phone.
I'm hoping to resolve this issue with Verizon soon, but if not, I may be making a complaint with the BBB and taking Verizon to small claims court. What they are doing is beyond unfair and ridiculous. If you are able to get it resolved, please let me know how you did it so that I may also take the same steps. Hope everything works in your favor!

AS2 Batch Error B2B-51083

I am encountering an issue with batching outbound EDI messages which need to be sent via AS2. I am get the error below. We only get this message if we require the message to be signed. If the message only requires encryption the batch process works fine. If I send a message with a signature/encryption without batching that works fine as well. Only when batching with a signature required will I get the error below. Is this a bug or some kind of configuration error. I am using 11.1.1.4. Any help would be appreciated.

I am facing issue with AS2 batching. We are on 11.1.1.5. Single transaction works fine, but multiple transactions is raising this error message.
Please let us know if any workaround or patch to be applied on the server.

Dropped iPhone - Now my screen is blurry

I dropped it from about pocket height and now everything on my screen is really blurry, everything works, but it is pretty hard to text because the letters are blurred together. Is this warrantyable? Could they fix it at an apple store? You can't tell that i dropped it. I am not trying to scam apple, i just want to know what to do, I have only had the phone for about 3 months.

Warranty usually only covers manufacture defects. I work for AT&T Mobility and can honestly say that the warranty group scrutinizes over every piece of equipment to ensure that the defective equipment does in fact fall under warranty. Apple on the other hand may have other options. You stated the phone was dropped... This is not covered under warranty.
As for checking with your home owners insurance, I personally wouldn't recommend it. From what I've been told, the insurance companies are losing money with the way the policies are written today, so I would hate to file a claim for the mere cost of an iPhone, then have my policy dropped and be forced to shop around for a new policy at a higher price then what I'm paying now. Save the claim against "home owners" for when you need it in case of an emergency
