Blocked Services on WRT54GS

I keep trying to put a URL in my "Website Blocking by URL" under my Access Restrictions - Internet Access area and when I save, I get a message saying "The values you entered are invalid. Please try again." Its just a simple URL.
Also, this whole section gets greyed out and non-editable if I choose to set up a policy of internet restrictions based on days and time.

what is the current firmware version you have on the router ????

Is it possible to block service order if credit limit of customer exceeds its credit limit in customer sevice module. If it is possible please the process to do. Presently am able to just get a message " Credit limit successfully checked" but not controlling service order by any other way.

But, I like to know, how will your configuration can help OP? His/her customer credit limit is already utilized 70%. And OP claims his/her understanding/config is correct.
Can you elaborate with example, you configuration is achieving what?

Block Service Entry Sheet Printing

I want to ask about service entry sheet printing. When I created service entry, I can print the entry sheet even before I release it. My question is : how to block entry sheet printing if it hasn't been released? And my next question is : can we do the blocking without using custom ABAP program?

Blocking service call with the same serial no

Hi,
One of my client having this requirement.
they are having two service centers, In one service center they posted the service call for the particular serial no. where as another user of the service center department try's to enter the same service call with same serial no system should block until the first service call is closed for that serial no.

Blocking Service Call alerts

When a Service Call is added andassigned to a 'Handled By' person, standard SBO functionality sends an alert message to the person.
Is there any way to block these messages or prevent them from being generated without disabling the entire message service?

I'm not sure where it is set, but I use the service module daily and do not receive these alerts, so there must be some way to suppress them.
Perhaps under System Initialisation> Gerneral Settings on the services tab, the alert for activities scheduled for today? Mine is not set.
It may be a matter of trial & error.....

specified as input parameter. In the case of a specific table, the service,
when returning, produces the following message:

will try file transfer
In this case the return message is not very big:

There are several cases where the service returns more data without
warnings.
Does anybody have a good suggestion where to start looking for the problem?
We are using Tuxedo 6.5 on Solaris 2.6 with the following kernel parameters:
msgsys:msginfo_msgmap=4003
msgsys:msginfo_msgmax=262144
msgsys:msginfo_msgmnb=524288
msgsys:msginfo_msgmni=4000
msgsys:msginfo_msgseg=32767
msgsys:msginfo_msgtql=4000

The message indicates that the server is unable to put the message on
the queue. If the server and the client are on the same machine, then it
is the case that there is some system resource preventing the message
from going onto the client's reply queue. There may be unread replies
filling the queue, or the system itself may be out of message headers or
segments.
If the processes are on different machines, then it could be the Bridge,
WSH or Domain gateway queue that is temporarily out of space. If the
machines are different types, depending on the datatypes in the FML
buffer, the buffer could get four times larger when it is encoded. If
you run truss on your server, you will see the actual sizes in the
msgsnd calls.
Also note that you should really have MSGMAX set to at least 3/4 of
MSGMNB, because TUXEDO assumes that a queue can handle a message as
large as 3/4 of MSGMNB. For messages between your MSGMAX of 262144, and
393216 bytes (3/4 of 524288), TUXEDO will have to an extra msgsnd before
it discovers that the message is too big to be sent.

I want to block incoming ports WRT54G!

Hi!, I want to block some ports for aplications from incoming data , im enabling the router "Wrt54g" firewall and disable Upnp. Ok im going to grc.com "Shieldsup test" are stealch! All apps ( nod32, firefox, messenger msn) can open ports! Why the applications turn on the ports? , Do they appear "stealch" but not closed? From outgoing ports im using comodo firewall on vista. on the router's web ui , click on the "access restrictions" tab and block the ports you want ...

Firewall blocks service when started from launchd

I run lighttpd (installed from MacPorts), and it is binded to port 80. I am trying to make the Leopard Firewall play nice with it.
The firewall is set to 'Set access for specific services and applications', and the lighttpd binary is on the list of applications set with 'Allow incoming connections'.
When I start the service manually, it works fine, and the firewall allows outside connections to port 80. However, I use the launchd script shipped with MacPort's lighttpd to run lighttpd on boot.
The firewall appears to block incoming connections to port 80 when lighttpd is started from the launchd script on booting, but allows incoming connections to port 80 when lighttpd is started manually from the Terminal.
Any idea how to get the firewall to play nicely with lighttpd when started via launchd?

Can't Block Website With WRT54GS

I have WRT54GS version 6. 1.52.2 firmware. I've searched everyone but I can't block websites such as youtube.com and crunchyroll.com . I've enabled policies, i've made 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.0.250 ip rangers. ive done http://www.youtube.com/ , youtube.com, and youtubes IP.. It still doesn't work. What's up with this? I've also blocked keywords. Thanks

Since you're unable to do it from the router, an alternative is to do it locally on the PC by editing the Hosts file.
Benefits of a Hosts file
For Vista
You'll need to go to each machine and make the changes. If the users figure this out and if they know how they can just remove each entry. As long as the accounts that they are using to log onto the PCs don't have administrator rights they won't be able to change the hosts file.
To add the site you want to block type this:
127.0.0.1 *.website.com
Afterwards remove read, write, and modify permissions for the Everyone Group to prevent users from editing the file. Give it a try if you feel comfortable enough with doing so.

I have no idea how or who to call to block service data!

I had taken 1 year unlimited phone calls to india but now within 3 months they have blocked my services please do release my account as early as possible. I had paid almost 130 dolars for annual subscription. Anf there is no possible way for me to contact my family and friends.

Block Service A/P Invoice for the following Scenario

if i m making a Service Purchase order for the Total Amount of INR 1200
and based on tat document i m making a Service A/P invoice For the Total Amount Of INR 700
Now if i m again going to make the A/P invoice based on the Same Purchase Document then we are finding the Total Amount for the INR 1200 instead of INR 500
Wat to do in order to Achieve this, can anybody help me out

The issue that you are having is not a standard SAP functionality. SAP always keeps track of the Balance Open Amount on the Service PO and only copies the balance to the AP Invoice (in your case)
How did you Create the AP Service Invoice. Did you use Copy to from the PO or did you actually go to the AP Invoice selected the Vendor and did a COPY FROM and selected customize and changed the amount?

Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...Leave username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
Click on Access Restriction, under Website Blocking by URL Address you can enter the websites you wish to block...

It is not possible to block a service entry sheet as such. You could only revoke a service entry sheet. Some of the possible reasons are, you are not satisfied with the quality of service provided by the vendor. Or it could also be due to change in the services to be performed or it could even be as simple as erronous entry of services in the entry sheet.
However from ERP 2005, it should be possible to return the services by marking the returns indicator.In case of materials, it is possible to put a materials PO on hold. But in case of services, the hold option does not arise as a service cannot be performed/completed till all the approvals are received.

i am doing the service contract with standard document type WV.But my client requirment is,he wants to block the individual line item wise in VA41 and Release in VA42 by individual line item and do billing in VF01.

You can achieve same using status profile conifg at item level, i did same for my service contract for order creation block ( IW31) and Billing block,
try with status profile , i hope its help you to block Service items in sales contract.
