Blocking data in sts

Hi all,
I have a question related to STS (Status and Tracking System) in SEM-BPS and hopefully there is somebody out there that can help me:
Im having problems in blocking data in web layouts: Ive two planning levels and in each one of them, Im not being able to block data, even after the submission for the highest level for approval (each one of them is linked to a different user).
I think Ive the correct authorization objects for each user, and already filled the header characteristics in STS customizing (version and time-dependent) that should allow data blocking.
Nevertheless, the data still isnt blocked, at any point of the planning process.
Also, Im not able to see the final status (close/release). By the other way, do you think that the fact of not having the sap bw-sem mail server not working could have impact in any of the above points? If so, which one of them?

Thank you for your answer.
I've already (double)checked those two tables to ensure that everything is working as expected.
Everything seems ok in st01.
Nevertheless, the lowest level of hierarchy can still open planning layouts after planning is approved.
Do you have any other direction you can point to me?

I have an LG Cosmos with access to mobile web, mobile email and gps. I don't have a data plan so it would charge me by the mb or whatever. Access to these features is really easy so to prevent accidents or other people playing with my phone from racking up my bill, how can I block data usage? I was told straight out when they put the block on for me you are charged the minimum for it just trying to connect so I didn't bother to call and have them take it off since it was my fault and I knew that would happen, guess I should have said something. Payment to vendor based on blocking date of vendor

Dear all ,
We have few regular vendors from which the goods is delivered to our plant .
Say from vedor "V" We have received 120 ltr of chemical today,
from tomorrow we have to block this vendor for Purchase order.
Its possible in Xk05 by assign 01 block function,
the purchase order creation is blocked .
But in our case the payment should not be blocked as
we have to pay him for 120 ltr after 30 days from blocking date .

Dear,
As many of friends are suggested, MK05 can be used to block PO creation. At the same time FK05 can also be used to block vendor payments.
Once you have blocked the vendor using MK05 system will not allow the users to create PO.
Once you have blocked the vendor using FK05 sytem restricts you from doing MIRO and subsequent clearing of open items means payment clearing.
This is the good solution as per your requirement.

Logs clearly indicates that OSM is running in legacy mode. “OMSRequestBalancer_y7pdy3_EOImpl_1033_WLStub.routeRequestToRemoteJMSDestination” will not come in picture in case of optimized mode.
Please make sure below settings:

HT204023 Hotspot working with blocked data plan

We've blocked data usage through our provider on my sons phone. Data was restricted to wifi only. But then he began using the phones hotspot and his iPod to access the Internet. How is this possible? Data should be blocked so why does hotspot still work?

I cannot find anything that talks about restricting the hotspot. So how is his Internet restricted to wifi only? The only way that I can see to restrict the hotspot is to restrict it on the cellular side, but you cannot turn off cellular, nor is there a restriction in the Restrictions section. I'm guessing it has to do with how you have his Internet restricted. Is this something through the AT&T parent restrictions?

I encountered ORA-10561 while I was recovering my DB.
Problem Background :-
I took a hotbakup of my DB running in Windows, I edited the Pfile and recreated the control file
I was able to succesfully mount the DB
The I gave the below command to apply the redologs and recover the DB
And the errors followed as mentioned.
The HOTBACKUP was copied and restored using a USB-PENdrive. I suspect that the datafiles and / or ARCHIVE LOGS would have had some format issues due to O/S {WINXP ---> RHEL5}
If this is the case ? then I would like to know how to convert the format of the files(Datafiles and or Redologs)
into acceptable format

You need to give much more information:
What version of Oracle? 10gR2 is not a version, 10.2.0.1 is a version.
What version of Windows, exactly? What version of linux?
ORA-600 means you need to talk to Oracle support. There is an ora-600 lookup tool, which basically searches the knowledge base (for ora-600[4502] in your case, which brings up a bunch of really, really, really old docs).
How exactly did you take the "hot backup?" There are a number of ways to do things with that name, some of which are just plain wrong.
How exactly did you get the backup from one machine to another? Which exact commands did you use to copy the files to the usb and from the usb? Did you do it more than once?
Why are you using the backup controlfile syntax? There are valid reasons, and invalid reasons to do that.
What exactly did you change in the pfile?
What does the alert log say about all this?

How to Modify Search for Leads using Date types in the Assgmnt Block Date

If you look at the grants, you'll see that there are over 170 objects from the FLOWS_030000 granted to PUBLIC:

If we were go grant these privileges to a role, called APEX_APP_RU, and grant this role to APEX_PUBLIC_USER and any schemas an application is linked to (Workspace to Schema), would that be a workable solution?
The only problem I see right off hand that this might not work is that PUBLIC has synonyms created for the FLOWS_030000 objects. If we revoke the underlying privileges, because of the synonyms, this might not work.

Difference between BLOCK DATA and WEB ACCESS BLOCK?

Currently my account shows I have both BLOCK DATA and WEB ACCESS BLOCK in place. I did this a couple of years to prevent data charges. Works perfectly. Now I'm trying to upgrade one of my lines to a Kin Onem because of the WiFi option and when I add the phone to my shopping cart and go to the Select Features & Services Page I see a message at the bottom that says: Features We Needed To Remove (Because they're incompatible with your phones or plan) - Block Web Access.
It looks like I don't have a choice when ordering the phone, but what exactly will removing the Web Access block do? Maybe I have to turn it off anyway to use the WiFi anyway right? I just don't want to incur any data charges.

"Data block" actually blocks your phone's ability to connect to the 3g data network. What this means is your phone can't create an internet connection on a cellular network. Web Access block specifically blocks the browser/mobile web on your phone from making a connection. Unblocking mobile web will not cause your phone to be able to connect to the cellular data network (resulting in 1.99/mb charges), but will allow the browser on the kin to connect while you're using wifi.

Yes we did run LT04 and it does encounter that same error message after clicking the Stock Removal button. But eventually error msg will be removed by entering the value at the Storage Unit Type field because it directly fills in LTAP-LETYP.
We have resolved that the function module will not really fill the desired Storage unit type therefore TO background creation is not feasible in our scenario (non-SU managed transfer to SU-managed storage type). And I found this thread too: http://scn.sap.com/thread/1947358
So issue is still open but we have considered of changing the process since this is still just a new scenario for us.

I'm having a very strange problem with little program I'm developing.

At the runtime I'm getting a 'java.lang.IllegalStateException: unread block data' at the readObject(), and the strange thing is that this only happens when I try to open the same one file (it only happens with one of my files) two consecutive times. If I open one other file in between I don't get any error, neither when I open any other file two or more consecutive times.... It only happens with a file which has 34.4Mb, all my other files are considerably smaller as they were only for testing purpose.
Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening?

I've had a similar problem recently. I'm not sure if the bug is completely gone, but I think it had something to do with the input stream being closed at the "sending" end before the receiving end has finished reading the file. The reason it might only be happening for big files is that small files might be able to slip through before the input stream changes to a new file, whereas the larger file might not yet have been read. The input stream indicates that it is closing/changing while the input is being read and this throws an exception (block data is still unread). However, I had this problem while using sockets, etc, etc so it might not be the same thing. I see you posted this problem a while ago so you might have already solved it or worked around it. If you have solved it, would you let me know because I might get the same problem again and my "solution" might not work twice.

How do I get a chart to show the actual time with blocked data??

I am currently working on a program that reads the voltage off of a system with a pulsitile quality. The hardware is not national instruments (I know, not smart, but) so I am taking all info in blocks that cover 3 seconds so I can preform some averaging and frequency checks on it. I want to graph the information over a given period of time but can not get it to go under the proper time. Property Nodes have not worked correctly as I have followed the example in Fund>Charts>Realtime chart. Even with a max of 30 and a min of 0, the chart is ranging 30707 seconds and increasing exponentally. Per Scan I am taking 600 samples and running at 200Hz. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

The easiest way to fix this, if you are using LV6, is to us
e waveform
charts. This way you are wiring timestamp and dt to each waveform
chunk. The chart will automatically start showing date and time and
can be customized in the X Scale>>Formatting dialog.
If you are not using LV6 or do not want to use the waveform datatype,
you can open the formatting dialog and set the dt to match the timing
between adjacent points. You can also set the t0 to the initial point
time. The same points can also be set using a property node.

So immediately after my iphone was stolen, I contacted the police and my cellphone carrier and the carrier cancelled/blocked all incoming/outgoing messages and data. I changed my gmail password that I had associated with my phone, just wondering if the theif can still access my email even though I changed the password?
Anyother suggestions for when this sort of thing happens?

They cannot access it if you have changed your password.

Adobe 9.3 Blocking data on forms

We have upgraded to version
9.3.2 and when importing data from sql database to adobe forms it is blocking the data. You can set it to always trust the form but a few days later on the same form it reverts back to blocking the data.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to set this permanently so it doesn't block the data?

I'm having the exact same problem. Except I don't know how to set it to trust the form. I've got the form on one server on a network segment and my SQL database on a different segment. Do you know how I can set it up so the fields in the form populate with the requested SQL data? Even if it reverts back to not working it'd still be a step forward for me.

Parsing Non-Blocking Data

I'm presently using non blocking sockets to receive data from a server. The problem is that I receive several chunks of data all at once. Is there a way to parse the data using a terminating byte instead of the usual -1 EOF?

I receive data continuously so given: channel.read(buffer) I just run out of bufferspace before I am given the chance to parse it. Bottomline I want to replace this blocking code:
