Blocking GR till GI is not complete
Dear PP Gurus,
We are following the normal process of creating production orders and issuing the goods to the operations, confirming the operations and the doing the GR for the finished product. In this scenario, how can we block GR for a material being produced against a production order, till GI of all the raw materials is not complete/ till there exist reservations against the orders for which GI has not been done.

Production order should not allow GR until GI
1. Go to BS02, click new & specify the user status name, brief text & lang
2. In status number specify 1, Status = Zst1, short text = test1, init status is tick, lowest 1, highest 2
3. Click on object types & tick PP/PM: order header
4. Double click on this & then in the next screen, add
- Release - no influence & set
- GR - forbidden & no action
5. Add next status, 2 Status = Zst2, short text = test2, init status is blank, lowest 1, highest 2
- Confirm Prodn. order - no influence & set
- GR - allowed & no action

On a 4S the erase should take under 10 seconds. As it has taken longer there must have been data corruption on the phone. Reboot it by holding HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears. If it has not be cleared of all data connect it to iTunes and Restore it. Then erase again.

Try this:
Start iTunes in iTunes Safe Mode:
1. hold down the Shift and Control key together and click to start iTunes.
2. when you see the iTunes icon in the task bar, click on it.
3. you will get a box that says "iTunes is running in safe mode. Visual plug-ins you have installed have been termporarily disabled." [I don't know what plug-ins I installed but you should clearly see that these so-called visual plug-ins are likely the cause of your issues];
4. click Continue to open iTunes.
Now press your sync button and everything should work fine. -

Oracle Database 11g Release 11.1.0.6.0 - 64bit Production With the Real Application Clusters option.
After I noticed this error into the alert log:

And read a lot to understand the real cause (for the moment I increased the the redolog file from 5 to 7 (250mb each)).
As it seems I've no problem with the ARCH processes, I read that the cause can be the DBWR0 process that is not "fast" enough to write block I've into redos, and free them for archiving.
I read then something about the asynchronous I/O, and how db_writer_processes/dbwr_io_slaves can simulate the async write to disk.
I think I understood the difference between db_writer_processes and dbwr_io_slaves.
My question is how I can understand if my database needs more DBWR process.
At the moment my configuration is:
db_writer_processes 1
dbwr_io_slaves 0

There is still a major confusion on your side concerning the DBWR. It will NOT write data from your redo buffers to the redo logs, since it is the job of the LGWR.
When a log switch occurs (so, you will use a different redo group), then it is the job of the ARCn process(es) to backup the 'used' redo log to a archive log.
When your ARCn process(es) are not fast enough, and a log swicth occurs, it may happen that you have no inactive (read archived) redo group.... then Oracle 'hangs' till it can find such a redo group available.
So, you may want to add 1 (or more) redo group, or increase the size of the redo log files, or have more archiver processes.
DBWr job is to write dirty database blocks back to datafiles.
CKPT also works independently of the LGWR and DBWR.

Error message "could not complete the video frames to layers command because dynamiclink is not avai
So I decided to try my hand at making gifs and so I attempted to upload a video by going to file -> import -> video frames to layers. Before even letting my pick my video it comes up with an error message saying "could not complete the video frames to layers command because dynamiclink is not availible." I then tried file -> open -> and then selected the video and no matter what file type or size I chose I ended up with the same error message.
I looked this problem up and attempted some of the solutions but to no avail. I tried clearing my preferences and restarting photoshop many times in addition to restarting my computer. I also checked to make sure it wasn't being blocked by any firewalls and it wasn't. My opperating system is Windows 7 and I'm using photoshop cs6. I've looked everywhere for an answer to this problem so if anyone is able to help me solve this problem I'd be much obliged.You see my C:\ drive is quite small as it's a SSD, so I made Adobe install programs on my E:\ drive too, however this was the main cause for Adobe not to function.
After adjusting the settings to install everything back to my C:\ drive, it fixed my issue above and allowed me to run the 64bit version. -
Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error.
When starting Photoshop CS6 I get this error message, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error (-- OK --). This happens on the main screen immediately. Once I click OK the program seems to be alright. But some part of it, that I haven't discovered yet, may not function properly.
I am running Windows7 Professional Service Pack 1 64 bit with Intel i7-4770k CPU and 16 GIG Ram.
This problem just started recently, everything has been fine up till now. I must have done something when trying to defragment the Registry or get rid of temp files.
I have uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and reinstalled it with no effect. I have tried to run Photoshop CS6 32 bit in Safe Mode, but it will not run. It hangs up on Reading Memory.
Is there any kind log file that would tell me what is causing this to occur?
Does anyone know what might cause this?

J. J. PattersonDid you reset your Preferences and Photoshop tools. Photoshop Preferences are not removed with an un-install and an Install does not install preferences. Preferences are created for a user id when a user ID start Photoshop and there are no preferences for the user ID.

ITunes 12.0.1 now just "hangs" and does not complete the sync with my iPhone (iOS 6.1.6).

I've seen similar posts earlier in Apple discussions, but I haven't come across a definitive answer yet…So, let me ask again:
Up until 6-7 hours ago, iTunes 12.0.1 was working perfectly well including syncing with my iPhone (I use an oldie but a goodie and it suits my purposes, iOS 6.1.6, 3GS). Specifically iTunes now "hangs" and will not complete the syncing process with my iPhone. It get to "2 of 6" in the backing up process, and then the spinning beach ball appears. I keep my iTunes library on a separate external HD (USB).
Even if I only want to launch iTunes 12 to use it (and NOT sync), the application freezes.
In similar posted questions, "Linc Davis" has asked that the user run a diagnostic using the Terminal utility. I have done this, and I paste the results below.
Any help with this is appreciated!

Thanks, once again, for repeating yourself by sending me the message above (a message you have sent to MANY users with this problem)!
However, you give me this great opportunity to say two things: 1) YAHOO! I fixed the problem, and 2) I want to share how I did so because I hope it helps others.
With the help of reading info at this website http://osxdaily.com/2011/09/22/fix-the-itunes-library-itl-cannot-be-read-version -error-when-downgrading-itunes/, I followed this procedure:
1) I deleted the iTunes 12.0.1 app from my computer
2) In addition, in reading related details at the website above (i.e., by clicking on links on the page AND scrolling to the very bottom to view links to related articles), in my iTunes library folder, I changed MY CURRENT "iTunes Library.itl" to "iTunes Library.old", as the website advises. The current .itl file was the one being used by the iTunes app I had just deleted from my computer.
3) I went to the "Previous iTunes Libraries" folder and dragged a copy of the second-most recent .itl file to my desktop (for me, this file was "iTunes Library 2014-07-23.itl").
4) I re-named it to "iTunes Library.itl"
5) I then dragged a copy of the file in step #4 to my iTunes folder (the folder in which you now also have the "iTunes Library.old" file).
6) I closed all remaining apps on my computer that were opened and I restarted it.
7) Now, you don't have any iTunes app on your computer, so I downloaded a .dmg of iTunes 12.0.1.26 and installed the app (for example, you can download from here: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/5661/apple-itunes.
8) Once installed, I opened iTunes and immediately I got the dialogue box, "updating iTunes library" -- THIS TOOK FOREVER AS I HAVE CLOSE TO 1,000 SONGS + OTHER ITEMS IN MY LIBRARY!
9) I patiently waited until the library update completed, but it DID COMPLETE.
10) Viola! iTunes 12 is not "hanging" (or freezing) any longer. I can navigate around the application.
CAVEATS:
1) Before I first deleted "the corrupted" iTunes 12, I was able to open the Preferences panel, go to "Devices", and check the box that stops the app from syncing with my iPhone. This setting seemed to carry over; thus, I have not tried to sync yet…WISH ME LUCK!
2) After going through steps 1-10 above, I didn't immediately have Internet Radio available in the application (i.e., I didn't see it), but it is now showing up and it works! I just had to wait for a few minutes...
3) I also use iTunes Match, but I haven't turned it on yet in the newly installed app. On the iTunes Match page, it says, "Add this computer" or "No thanks". So, the app is behaving as if I'm just beginning to use iTunes Match for the first time. Later, I will click on "Add this computer", and I hope it goes smoothly!
4) This isn't a caveat, but I think I should say: my iTunes library is on an external USB HD (I have to say THANK GOD for that). Obviously, this has implications for doing steps 2 to 5 above. The newly installed iTunes 12 app had no trouble in finding where my library is (I had it set up this way back when I was using iTunes 10).
5) One last piece of advice: Make sure that when you plug your iPhone into any other computer only to re-charge but the iTunes app on that computer wants to sync with your phone, you DON'T let it sync. First, you should go to Preferences in the iTunes app and click on "Devices". Then check the box that says, "Prevent iPods, iPhones,…….from syncing automatically." After that, you would be able to plug in your iPhone to another computer to re-charge it.
FINALLY: I THANK EVERYONE WHO WAS WILLING TO SUGGEST SOLUTIONS TO ME REGARDING THIS PROBLEM! I see that MANY users are having this difficulty, so I thought it would be fair for me to share how I resolved the issue -- my iTunes is running fine now... -

I am trying to open a video to edit in CS6 and I get this error: Could not complete your request because DynamicLink is not available
I read on one of these formus that I should uninstall and reinstall the program.
I tried to uninstall the program and it told me to use the Adobe Application Manager.
Adobe Application Manager failed and it told me to download the Adobe Support Advisor.
Adobe Support Advisor told me that there was an issue:" cpsid_82829s1: "A restart is pending," bootstrapper error has occurred. "Token Number: 40-87772-063201122012
I followed the instructions it gave me to correct this issue:

If you receive the error "Installer has detected that a machine restart is pending. It is recommended that you quit the installer, restart try again," do the following:

#If the installation fails, delete the InProgress registry key:

Visual Approval Action does not complete
Hello,
I am using Visual Approval Callable Object in my Application but when the approver goes into the workitem to approve it ...the action does not complete and he gets the following message...on clicking on Approve/Reject button:
"Cannot complete action: The activity could not be read"
When I test the CO in designtime ...it works fine....and i have used visual approval CO at other places also....it works fine there...only at this one it gives an issue...i tried recreating it ....and also tried to put in a different block...but still comes with the same error....
Any help would be highly appreciated...

Thanks for the reply....I have checked the parameter mapping and the email address is also setup which is passed as a Context parameter for the Action processor ...but still gives the same error....

Quit the editor, then restart it while holding ctrl+alt+shift (command+option+shift on a mac). Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

Could not complete the video frames to layers command because the DynamicLink Media Server is not av
I have this problem, I have PS CS6 and when I click on File> Import> Video Frames to Layers.. Next, the window that says "Initializing Video Import" starting to load and always get stuck and that's what appears: "Could not complete the video frames to layers command because the DynamicLink Media Server is not available". That's with aaaall the videos.
PS: I've been trying with File> Open but that's what says "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document"
Anybody know what happens to my photoshop? Thx!The relevant auxiliary service/ helper app is being blocked and thus not launching,. anything from permissions issues to security tools getting in teh way. Check your Task Manager/ Activity Monitor, turn off security stuff, run as admin.

So I began having trouble connecting to the iTunes store with my computer about a month ago. It was working fine, I purchased and downloaded some music, and then the next day I got this message when I clicked on the iTunes Store: "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-50). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."
Some basic facts about my computer:
Mac OS X 10.7.3, purchased in May '12.
iTunes is updated to the latest 10.6.3 version.
I have Sophos Anti-Virus (newly installed in the last two weeks).
No firewalls are set up.
Parental controls are not blocking anything (don't have them set up).
Internet connection is fine, no matter how I connect.
I did have an older version of iTunes (the previous version, so it wasn't that old) when the problem began, so I updated to the newest version hoping it would fix it; but it hasn't. I have checked the firewalls per apple community posts. I have checked the network connection. I only just put on an Anti-Virus (and the problem was pre-AV, so it shouldn't be that). I FINALLY figured out how to uninstall iTunes, and then I reinstalled it. The store still won't open, giving me the same message.
A little more research seems to show that the (-50) error is when it times out? But the message appears barely half a second after I click on the iTunes Store icon. It doesn't seem to even try; there isn't enough time to warrant a 'timing out'.
I am at a loss. At this point I am considering taking my computer in and telling them 'fix it, no matter what', but if I can avoid the hassle of being without my one and only computer for at LEAST a week, that would be great.
Does anyone have any ideas?!

I get this error when trying to open "obj" files exported in various 3D programs. I looked up a few similar questions about this error message but the don't seem to relate to me since this installation of PS is new and I never had a previous version on this computer. Also, I tried a somewhat newer and better video card than I had before and I'm still getting this error message.

Issue with app not completely installed
App. "Quiz" related to TV show "Kruitfabriek" on Belgianfootball TV station "Vier" is being installed. Symbol appears on the screen, but installation is not complete. It now also blocks all other updates and downloads via iTunes, ...
As I try to delete it, the black "x" in the upper left corner does not appear.
How can I get rid of it and unblock?try to reset all settings: settings>general>reset>reset all settings
if that doesn't work, or you don't want to try that right away, you could try re-syncing your apps from itunes on a computer to remove that app, then try re-downloading
also try to force quit any applications that are running, restarting your ipad will not force apps to shut down that may be using up resources

Generating Wizard layout for updating record
Is there a way of using JHeadstart to generate a wizard to be used for updating records (and not for inserting) ? I want to be able to use a table-form layout, but have the update of the record via the form to be presented in a wizard layout. Cheers,
