Blocking of downloading flash videos

Hi i am wondering how do i block people from downloading my flash videos?
is it in the HTML code or a server setting??
can someone help me with this?

u can't programs such as stream transport will always  be able to
consume a stream there are some things you can do like use RTMPE connections, make your
server side and client side code complex encrypt your .swf but pretty much anything transmitted over the internet can be intercepted at this point. I just don't worry about it and share my content if some body needs it. What kind of content are you tring to protect?

  • How to download flash video with firefox only?

I leaned that I can download flash video clips using only firefox browser without using 3 rd party
software,so when a video starts playing I select tools- page info -media, then I should select the video
file and save it,I am looking for a file with swf extension in order to save it, but here is the snag as many video file names are so long that it is impossible to see the extension which is normally at the end of the name, what shall I do?

    Try with Firefox Addons
    *http://addons.mozilla.org/
Try with RealTime Player - move an arrow over the flash video, realtime player shows a download link

  • How to download flash video when a flv extension is not detecable

Standard methods for saving videos are not working for a particular file I'm trying to save. If you know of a third party app that can download flash video (where the video owner has not enabled viewing of the flv file), please help. Thanks.

If you have set a blank Administrator password, then the install should go forward with the blank password.
If not, then I would assume it to be a problem with your operating system.  Contact Apple.

so please any solve my problem

There is no official Flash support on iOS devices. If you want to use Facebook, I recommend using the Facebook app.
If you just want to view Flash material on the web, you should try a different browser like Skyfire or Puffin.

How to download Flash videos and play them in Quicktime using Perian is explained here:
    http://perian.org/#watch
It's the video at the bottom of the page.
Also, there is the Free YouTube Downloader from
    http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/34256
I have also seen this (but not tried it) on another forum:
Say you want to download this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld5j8vSWz7w just put pwn after www
    http://www.pwnyoutube.com/watch?v=Ld5j8vSWz7w
Download in high quality if possible and then you can import it wherever you want to.
Firefox Download Helper is also supposed to work, you have to be logged into YouTube first.
and the RealPlayer Downloader that comes with RealPlayer 11 for Mac from:

  • How to *not* automatically download flash video

    Hi,
I can't get my Flash video to *not* start downloading when I access my page.
The problem page is - http://www.camerawallihpictures.com/reel.php
There are six videos on this page.  When I access it, all the videos start to download - the progress bar on all videos shows the downloading.
They don't start playing, they just download.
Does anyone know how to stop this?
Thanks in advance for you help!

    Thanks for your interest.
    Yes, the flvplayback compenent.
I created the flv file with adobe media encoder, then went through the standard File > Import > Import Video method.
I've set both the autoPlay parameter to false and set the HTML Publish Setting "Paused at Start" to false.
Note - Even though automatically *playing* is not really the problem, I've set both those to 'false'.  Actually, the autoPlay functionality works properly for me whether true or false.
    I'm using CS5.

  • Downloading Flash Videos (.flv)

I was looking for a way to download streamed Flash videos from YouTube, Google Videos and others and came across the following. Previous posts on this topic (now archived so I could not reply to them directly) recommended using SnapzPro.
    Try this:
    http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/32101&vid=394117
    (Developer's Site download: http://tesseractsoftware.googlepages.com/flashvideodownloader.htm)
    Or this:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2390
    Unlike SnapzPro, they're free.
    G4 533 DA, Mercury Extreme G4 1.33GHz CPU   Mac OS X (10.4.8)   ATI Radeon 9200, 1 GB RAM

    Thanks for the list.
I could never get the add on from FF to work for me.
I've never used it but I heard you can use Perian to download YouTube videos.
I use TubeSock which use to have a fully functional demo.
Now I just found out that TubeSock will convert only the first 30 seconds of a video until you pay for it.

I keep getting a prompt to download itunes when I've already downloaded it. Am I going to the wrong page? How do I sign in to get to my library? Thanks.
iTunes is not a website, it is a program installed on your computer.
What happens when you launch the iTunes program?
Your library (media) exists on your computer, iTunes is not required to make this happen.  Installing iTunes will not magically cause media to appear on your computer.

  • Skipping Problem when vieweing Flash Videos

    Hi.
I've downloaded and istalled the latest flash plugin, but
videos on sites like youtube and google videos skip every few
    seconds. It's really, really annoying.
I'm running XP on a 1.0 Ghz Athlon (not Athlon 64, just
Athlon). Have about 320 mb ram. Also have this Riva TNT2 32mb video
    card.
I've tried to watch videos on both Firefox 2 and Internet
Explorer 7, but both are the same. When I download flash videos
though, and play them through VLC player or something like that, I
don't get any skips. It's just for online videos.
No, it's not about loading the videos either. Even if I wait
until the video's fully loaded, The skipping's still there. And no,
nothing's running in the background as I play the videos.
I've also tried to uninstall the plugin via the "flash
uninstaller" downloaded from adobe, reboot, reinstall the plugin,
reboot. No Dice. Also tried running a few antispyware programs.
    Still skips.
I've tried turning off the windows firewall, and tried
without any other anti-virus or firewall running, and still get
    skips.
It's as if the video's refreshing every 3-6 seconds...
    Please help
    Edit:
Just tried downloading Opera for the hell of it and trying to
watch videos on it, but still get skips. Also tried firefox's safe
    mode (no plugins).

    Hi 9000,
Have you verified flash is up to date? If it's not up to date, have you considered downloading & the latest flash player?
While your at it, you may want to verify that Adobe ShockWave is up to date. And if it's not, download and install the latest 64-bit shockwave player.
If your still having issues, have you tried using another account on your dad's computer? dose it have the same issue?
if it's only your dad's account that has issues, you may want to try deleting flash cookies by using a program like Flush.app – Flash Cookie Removal Tool For OS X.
    cheers,

  • Downloading youtube videos - doesn't show in 'downloads folder'

Hi there I am new to MACs etc and used to download videos from youtube using quicktime on Windows.
I have read the blogs re finding the video, going to Windows>activity; double-clicking once the buffering has happened, and then supposedly the clip should download to 'Downloads'. Mine just doesn't download - is there something I need to set in Preferences please?

YouTube also uses HTML5, among others, but be that as it may:
