Blocking of programs in Production server

HI ALL,
I want a transaction or procedure through which we can block or delete our  programs in production environment.
and when required can unblock them or retransport them again.
we can block the tcodes using 'SM01' but i need about executable programs which run using SE38.
REgards,

HI,
This FM is doing the same as 'SM01' block unblock tcodes.
I need to disable or block executable programs run through SE38.
OR is there any way we can delete our programs in production and then when required retransport them agian.

    Hi Golkul,
Can you debug the program while execute?
I think there is some hardcoding in the program for checkiing the client and then raised a custom message in the program.
Can you share the coding of the prorgam if possible?
Try to check for any messages raised in the program. Also click on the on the message pop up and see the details on the message and let us know.
    Thanks
    Amit

  • Z programs which were last run 1 year ago in a production server.

I need to find the names of all the z programs which were last run 1 year ago in a production server. Is there any table that contains such record of Z program?

    Hi Nabarun,
TRDIR  is the useful table with the fields UNAM, UDAT.
With the ST03N  you can get the list of last executed.
and also check with the STAD .
    hope they will help you
    Regards!

Does a dummy program gets tranported to Production server ?
You can try st03n or sm20 and then categorize the programs which are used critically or not used at all.

    Hi ,
This is a sort of performance issue , because your program takes more than the max time set for the program to execute in foreground.
There are many stuff in program which will hamper your performance.
I will list down a few
    1. SELECT *
    FROM konp
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE konp_itab
    FOR ALL ENTRIES IN a363_itab
    WHERE knumh EQ a363_itab-knumh
in this statement you are using for all entries a363_itab , but before this statement you are not checking if the table has any entry or not , please do remember that for all entries has this characterstic , that if you internal table does not contain any record , then all the records are selected from the database table. So in this case if you table a363_itab is empty , so what you want is no data must be seelcted from table konp , but what will happen is all the records in KONP will be seelcted.
    2. While retreiving data you are using seelct * even though you do not require all the fields , an example is
    <b>SELECT *
    FROM mkpf
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE mkpf_itab
    FOR ALL ENTRIES IN mseg_itab
    WHERE mblnr EQ mseg_itab-mblnr.</b>
in this your internal table contains only 2 fields
<b>mblnr LIKE mkpf-mblnr, "Number of Material Document
bldat LIKE mkpf-bldat, "Document Date in Document</b> , but to get these 2 fields you are selecting all the fields of the table.
    3. In select you are using into corresponding fields of table , it is not a good practice., so please avoidd it.
Please understand that you must try to reduce the access to your database tables and try to keep it minimal , because this same thing may happen becasue data in DEV is very less compared to the volume of data in production , so a program working in DEV will take much more time in PRD if not written properly and may result in timeouts , as in your case.
Please try to make chanegs to the prorgam and see if it works.
In case you have more queries , please do revert back.
    Regards
    Arun

  • LOGO IS NOT COMING IN SCRIPT IN PRODUCTION SERVER ONLY

    Dear all,
i had  modify a std script for payment advice for FI module. my problem is that the company logo is not coming in form after execting it from tcode f-58 in production server only.
i checked that graphics object in se78 in prod.sever , it is present there. the thing is that the logo is coming in the form when i executing it from development sever. can any body tell where is the problem.
    thanks
    Banaja

    Hi,
May be you have changed the form in DEV and in PRD your print program is still calling the std form and not the new (z-form).
Might be a good idea to check that in t-code NACE !
Let us know if this solves your problem.

  • SSIS is not running in 64 bit production server - Error Class cannot be found while running from c# web application

    Full error message:
An Integration Services class cannot be found. Make sure that Integration Services is correctly installed on the computer that is running the application. Also, make sure that the 64-bit version of Integration Services is installed if you are running a 64-bit
    application
I have developed SSIS package in my development machine where the OS is 64 bit and sql server 2012 is installed.
The package has excel source and oledb destination. Excel files can be both .xls and .xlsx format. Since i want to run both xls and xlsx format i have installed
32 bit Microsoft Acess database engine form the below link, then both xls and xlsx format worked.
    .xls - 32 bit
.xlsx - 32 bit and 64 bit is available. So in common i have to run it in 32 bit.
I have set Run64BitRuntime to False and ran package. it is working fine. I cannot set Run64BitRuntime to True and run the packages. Because i have office products installed on my machine which is 32 bit. if try to install 64 bit Microsoft Acess
database engine redistributable pacakage from below link , it is throwing error saying that, already office 32 bit product is installed so uninstall 32 bit product and install 64 bit.
Excel connection string is Ace database engine only. everything works fine.
    microsoftcom/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255
Now i am trying to invoke package from c# code by using Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS.dll and it is also working fine in my dev machine.
When i deploy the web application in production am getting the error while invoking package. the full error message is posted in 1st line of this thread.
Then i tried to execute the package in production server by using dtexec utility, it is working fine. I tried both 32 bit and 64 bit dtexec utility by going to specific path (program files(x86) and Program files) via command prompt.
It is all working fine. So the error coming when i invoke from web application. My guess is ManagedDTS causing problem.
    Where can i find 64 bit Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS.dll
or is it because of any other problem. i have checked below links, still problem not resolved.
    social.msdn.microsoftcom/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/491384d2-02f7-4178-a1c3-bcbd58e57fce/an-integration-services-class-cannot-be-found-make-sure-that-integration-services-is-correctly?forum=sqlintegrationservices
    forums.aspnet/t/1990417.aspx?Issue+deploying+SSIS+Package+in+production+web+server

    1) "I have set Run64BitRuntime to False and ran package" -> this is not valid outside of your development environment, it is made for simulation purposes as all the dev tools are 32 Bit
    2) "Where can i find 64 bit Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS.dll " is basically SSIS. It is quite possibly the culprit. I am inclined to think you attempt to run the package where there no SSIS installed.

  • UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION Error in Our ECC Production Server

    Hi Gurus,

please find below error details also

    Date and Time          16.02.2010 15:37:12
    Short text
An exception occurred that was not caught.
    What happened?
The exception 'CX_WD_GENERAL' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere along
         the call hierarchy.
Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
adequately responded to, the running ABAP program
          'CX_WD_GENERAL=================CP' has to be
         terminated.
    Error analysis
An exception occurred which is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_WD_GENERAL', was not caught and
         therefore caused a runtime error.
    WebDynpro Exception:
    How to correct the error
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
    keywords:
    "UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION" "CX_WD_GENERAL"
    "CX_WD_GENERAL=================CP" or "CX_WD_GENERAL=================CM00
    "RAISE"

  • Spool file not being generated in production server

    Hello
Our end users are using automatic payment program F110 to print multiple cheques.
The settings in SPAD are identical in Quality and Production Server, but some how
spool file is not being generated in production.
Test printing is fine in Quality server.
Printer being used is Epson LQ 300.Device type is EPESCP2.
We are using z custom page size ,and it is assigned to printer device Type as well
Would be very great if some can can comment on which settings to check,as SPAD setting is
same in both server ,yet no spool.Very Very urgent.
Iam not sure ,whose domain is it now-BASIS or ABAP.
    Thanks a lot
    Nouman

If there is a problem with the spool, the variant that is being in F110 parameters.
As you are saying the quality system is working fine, please compare both the variants in Production and Quality systems.
    This should solve your situation.

  • MS Sql error in production server: DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR

    Hi experts,
I am getting this error in my production server.
    Environment : OS - Windows 2008, Database: MSsql 2005 sp2, ECC6.0
when the job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR executes the dump occurs with the following error.
DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR, SQL error 0 occurred when accessing program "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB=============CP "
and also i am not able to open db13 with ends up with abap dump.
In the sql server log i found this error too.
Database ID 5, Page (1:4804273) is marked RestorePending, which may indicate disk corruption. To recover from this state, perform a restore.
    Please help me on this.
    Regards
    Shankar PV

I raised the Message with SAP and they asked to do the H/W audit. My H/W vendor executed the diagnostic reports and given the report as "NO H/W ISSUE".
That we already get into know when i did the system refresh, (I Mean i moved the database to another machine there also i am getting those same error).
As per the DBCC checkdb log we found 1 consistency errors in database 'PRD', and we found that the table too 'DB6PMPROT'.
Since its the table for the the records of DB13, i can lose this table data. So I tried to delete the data from the table, tried to truncate the table
and also tried deleting using the commands
    1. DELETE FROM [PRD].[prd].[DB6PMPROT]
    2. TRUNCATE TABLE [PRD].[prd].[DB6PMPROT]
    3. USE [PRD]
    GO
    IF EXISTS (SELECT * FROM sys.objects WHERE object_id = OBJECT_ID
    (N'[prd].[DB6PMPROT]') AND type in (N'U'))
    DROP TABLE [prd].[DB6PMPROT]
    4. DROP TABLE [PRD].[prd].[DB6PMPROT]
For all the above mentioned commands the result is below
    Msg 829, Level 21, State 1, Line 3
Database ID 5, Page (1:4804273) is marked RestorePending, which may
indicate disk corruption. To recover from this state, perform a restore.
Since the data in this table is not necessary, we need to drop and
    recreate the table.

    Hi,
USe the program RSTXTRAN to attach a standard text to the tr. request. You will have to create to create a request and then execute this transaction with the necessary inputs.
