Blocking spam from new TLD like .ninja

I have spam problems from new tld like .ninja. Seems spam filter not work with this new domains, any suggestion on how to solve this problem?
Thanks, Andrea

the thing is not that I don't want to use captchas, it is
just that it doesn't work. Also I think that registering scares
people off. There MUST be a way how to do this. However, I have
been trying to find one for almost 5 days now and I always end up
with the same result (confer above). Does any body see where the
code-error lies?

Is there a way to block spam from the I phone mail? It is blocked on my ATT account on my computer but is displayed in my mail on the I phone? Thank you.

    Not from the iphone.
You would have to do this on your mail server

  • Block spam and junk TLDs

I seem to be noticing a growing amount of spam from TLDs like .work and review. Some are getting blocked in out spam system, but some still seem to get through. Right now I block TLDs (like .work) when they cause an issue, but it seems that the issue pops up later again with different domains after some amount of time. We also have a mechanism in place for blocking snowshoe spam so it's not an issue there.
I was just wondering how other people are handling this as it becomes a problem. We're also using several blacklists, greylisting and other tests on Exchange using Vamsoft ORF. Any thoughts? I've noticed that this is an issue on other systems as well...

    Hi,
I recommend you select different agents depending on the junk mails type to achieve your goals.
    1.Sender Filter agent
    2.Recipient Filter agent
    3.Sender ID agent
    4.Content Filter agent
    5.Protocol Analysis agent

  • S920 blocks access from new SIM

    Hello,
I have a problem with my S920. I bought it in Indonesia and brought it to New Zealand. When I was in Indonesia, it worked perfectly with my Indonesian SIM card. But, when I inserted a New Zealand SIM card, it seems that some applications have been blocked, such as Play Store, Path, and all apps using GPS (google maps, foursquare, etc). I don't know what is wrong with the setting. All apps are working through WiFi.
    Thanks,

Unfortunately it seems I'm the only one who had such a problem, as I didn't get any suggestions.
Does anybody know if Apple has a way to engage directly with their support people? Like an email address or phone?
    Thanks again!

  • Blocking spam from a comment-section

I want to include something in my code to avoid spam in my
    sql-driven comments-section of my website.
I posted this already in another thread but since it was
marked as solved, nobody responded to my question. I tried to use
the following method suggested by Joe Makowiec in this forum:

    td><input name='foil'

I also put in the corresponding php as suggested:
    ?php
    if ($_POST['foil'] == 'vrede') {
// Have field 'foil' with correct value
    // Do other processing here
    } else {
// Field 'foil' is missing or blank
// Odds on we have a bot
// Do something other than sending the mail
sorry that I didn't put this into the code-attachment but I
didn't want anybody to confuse this with my coding. If you'd like
to see the original coding, here you can have a look:
    the
    original discussion
However, it doesn't work. And what is worst: the same error
happens that I occurred when I tried to include a captcha! It
simply posts the spam comments anyway (with or without the right
    code word).
I am not particularly good at php coding yet and quite
frankly, deciding where to put in a code fragment is pretty much a
guessing game for me. Maybe someone can see what the problem is if
I give you the coding I have done so far.:

  • How do you filter Spam from iPad mail?

I have an iPad 2 with both POP 3 and Exchange accounts. Is there a way to block spam from showing up on my iPad?

To block spam from showing up on your iPad requires the process being done at the incoming mail server level.
The iPad's Mail app does not include a junk mail filter which would not prevent spam from showing up on your iPad if it were available.

  • Why Apple is blocking email from reaching my mac email account that I would like to receive.  How do I correct this?

Apple is blocking email from reaching my mac email account that I would like to receive.  How do I correct this?  There are some important emails that I am not receiving because they never make it to my inbox or even my spam account.

    Hey there MikeMach,
It sounds like people are sending you emails but they never arrive to your inbox or your Junk folder. According to the following article you may need to reach out to iCloud support directly for assistance:
iCloud: Identifying and filtering junk mail
Due to the complexity of accurately detecting and filtering out junk mail, on rare occasions a legitimate email from a friendly source may be blocked from reaching your Inbox. This is called a false positive.
If you feel that a legitimate email message was inadvertently filtered, you may want to ask your friend to send a follow-up email to verify that the issue exists. If you notice that multiple email messages are being delayed, bounced, or not delivered, contact iCloud Support. Also make sure to check your Junk folder for email messages that were incorrectly marked as junk mail. To check your Junk folder at iCloud.com, choose the Mail application and click the Junk folder in the sidebar. Email messages in the Junk folder are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

I had a free trial of Lightroom 5 and tried to purchase it, but page errors blocked me from being able to do this. I then got a free trial of Adobe CC.  At first I saw my old photos, then the whole thing went down, and now I have a new Lightroom 5 trial, and none of my edited photos.  Can I retrieve all these photos from my first trial?

Yes, you have to find the catalog file from the CC trial (use your operating system to search for it, the file name ends with .LRCAT), and then once you find it, open the LR5 trial and open the catalog you just found using File->Open Catalog

  • HT1444 how do I upgrade from Mac OS 10.5.8 to later versions so new software like turbo tax will work

how do I upgrade from Mac OS 10.5.8 to later versions so new software like turbo tax will work?

Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You must purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s MobileMe service; fees and
               terms apply.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
             7. Xserve (Early 2009)
         Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.

  • HT1933 I have been charged for downloading Indira Budiman from itunes multiple times, how to report to itunes?  Is anybody else also having problems like this? And also need to know how to block them from charging again?

I have been charged for downloading Indira Budiman from itunes multiple times, how to report to itunes?  Is anybody else also having problems like this? And also need to know how to block them from charging again?

I don't know who/what Indira Budiman is, but you can contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If it's an app then does it allow you to make in-app purchases within it ? If it does then you can turn off in-app purchases via Settings > General > Restrictions on your device.

  • Could any one tell me nano sim can be cut from Normal sim like micro sim. I heard new iPhone uses nano sim

    Hi All,
My friend told me he will get unlocked new iPhone on first week of launch .He is in Canada and i am in India. I heard new iPhone features nano sim. It is possible to cut nano sim from normal sim like we do for micro sim. iPhone releases in India only in November so if we cant get nano sim  from normal sim , then i have to postponed my new iPhone purchase

No one here knows Apple's plans regarding any new iPhone & what type of sim that phone may or may not use. As to whether a Mico sim can be cut down to Nano size, the answer is yes. I suspect cutters will appear on the market shortly after such is released.
The real question you should be asking is why, if you live India, are you looking to purchase an iPhone anywhere else other than India. iPhone warranty & support is country specific, only valid in country of original purchase. You purchase an iPhone in Canada, you prepared to physically bring the phone back to Canada for ALL warranty & support issues? You can't mail it back to Apple. Makes no sense to me.

  • ISP is blocking us from using their smart host, they think we are spamming.

Our ISP is blocking us from using their smart host a few times these days. They told me that one or some of our computers were infected and spamming. I checked Trend Micro console, but have not seen any viruses so far.
We migrated from SBS2003 to SBS2011 a few days ago. And our ISP blocked us from using their smart host on the very next day. Ever since then, this has happened 3 times in a week.
If I use our own server to send out emails, some recipients will reject because of their spam filtering system.
    Any thoughts, suggestions??
    Thanks in advance!

On your network firewall, you can block outbound SMTP (25) for all of your network systems and create an allow outbound SMTP (25) for your server. Thus if a workstation is trying to send direct to the internet your firewall should prevent the communications
but it will allow your server to send mail out to your smarthost. If your firewall can support unified threat protection, enabling such services will aid you in assuring yourself and your ISP of the clean bill of health for your messaging environment.
You can also force a password change on all of your user accounts as a preventative measure. If you were dealing with ISP mailboxes or an external provider, this would be where the vendor would start.
You should also be able to get support from your ISP; if they are blocking your connection they must have some information to work with that will help you narrow your approach. Another option would be to look into third party smarthost/sanitation services
such as Forefront Online Protection for Exchange which can certify your email and can allow you to bypass your ISP.  Usually an ISP offers a free smarthost service but what you get in return is entry-level service, but if you pay for outbound smarthost
services, you get a service level and support agreement.
    Hope that helps,

I have lost my iPad and would like to block it from being reregistered. It is a wifi only and does not have a sim card. I did not sign up for any tracking software either. Can apple block the serial number?

    No.
    Apple can do nothing.
You cannot block it from being "registered".
If you did not set up find my ipad before it was lost, then there is nothing you can do but change your passwords.
