Blocking the printing and output of documents that are awaiting approval?

Is any functionality available that would prevent purchase orders from being 'print previewed' or outputted whilst the document status is either awaiting approval or release rejected?

This BADI seems to be specific to Carts. We want to supress this at PO printing. Please, can BBP_CHANGE_SF_SC be used on PO's?

There is no application called "Adobe" - you are either working with Adobe Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader. Open up the preferences for the application (Edit>Preferences), then go to the "General" category and modify the settings for "Scale for screen resolution". You will have to restart the application after you do that. Does that fix your problems?

I have a Canon MX882 and more often than note get an error message saying the printer is not connected. I check the printer and the get the message that the access point is accessed. I have reloaded the software and it worked for awhile. Any ideas?

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

The Black ink color will not print on my HP Officejet 7500 E910 printer. Printer indicator on the printer and at the computer shows that all the colors are about 50% full. Any ideals? I have the run the printer thru the diagnostic page and have cleaned the cartridges.

Just wanted to let everyone in on a little trick I learned about 10 years ago with inkjet printers. This might not work for everyone but it worked wonderfully on this printer and all the previous ones that I have owned.
The printer head will get clogged. On this printer it seems to get clogged often. You will need to wash it under Warm water. It might take as long as 4-5 minutes to run the water thru the small circular apertures and also the bottom of the printhead-- where the ink actually exits the printhead.
What you need to do:
1. Remove all of your ink cartridges
2. Release the grey latch, or lift it up
3. Remove the printhead
4. place the printhead under a warm water stream cleaning both the inside and outside of where the ink enters and exits the printhead
5. keep running under warm water untill you dont see anymore ink coming out of the printhead
6. Dry with kleenex dabbing lightly untill you soak up all the water off the printhead
7. replace in printer
8. Run clean up twice and then try and print a diagnostics page or print alignment.

A "HP Twain Scan" function in the "Print and Scan Doctor" app - Solution?

Frustration!! Why can't I get the scanning portion of subject printer to work on my laptop Windows 7 (64-bit)!?? I've tried the Print and Scan Doctor several times, and the same dysfunction says "HP Twain Scan" whatever that means or is? I've pulled out the cords, all of 'em, and it still not helping. Did I purchase a printer that is not compatible with my laptop? As far as the scanning portion is concerned, or what? I can print OK, both from website/emails and my own documents. I do a lot of scanning (photos mostly), and so this will be a sad problem.Hoping someone out there in techland can give me a solution. Thanks!

I've never had this problem before. It only affects Photoshop CS6 and CS5 that I have installed. I'm running MAC OS 10.9.5
I have three printers and HP and two Epsons, and I get this dialogue when trying to print from Photoshop CS6 or CS5.
There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents.
Other applications print fine on all three printers. I tried deleting the Photoshop Prefs numerous times without results.
Does anyone have an answer for this?

Scan the document as you normally would.
Click Save and look for a format or option to allow you to save as a JPEG file. (The normal format is probably set to PDF)
Seve to your desktop location or to a scanned items folder if you normally scan to that desitnation
Drag the JPEG file onto the iPhoto icon on the dock and release the mouse key
Once you have imported the image into iPhoto, you can delete the file on your desktop or in the scanned items folder if you prefer

I see you're having issues regarding your print output. I'd like to help! Although you've performed steps similar to a power reset, I'd recommend running these steps before working with the steps found in the document. I would recommend removing the ink cartridges from the printer, and perform a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar. I would also suggest following the steps in this document on Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Officejet 6810 and Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer Series. Start with the most basic thing that you can try. Unplug the router from power for about 30 seconds, and restart the printer and the iPad and plug the router back into power.

How do I set the print and paper size in iPhoto 5

Can somebody please help. How do you set up iPhoto 5 so that you define both the the size of the print and the photo paper you use?
For example, I wish to print a 4.5cm x 3.5 cm photo on 6x4 (or 15cm x 10cm to keep all the units the same) paper.
I've seen a post saying how to do it in iPhoto 8, but the drop-downs are different.

I do not remember the locations in iPhoto 5 but there are probably three places to mess with
1 - set the paper size
2 - set the print size
3 - set the paper tray for the printer to use that has the paper size that you set in step 1
these may be in the print sequence or under the file menu as page set up (or similar). If these are not obvious try the Help menu

I was only able to print one page and then both my printer and my computer would display an error message about the printer's inability to print. Since then I've been able to resolve my specific problem.
I
1. uninstalled HP from my computer (checked to ensure that my printer was no longer visible in my printers and the HP Utility software was nowhere to be found),
2. grabbed the software/driver update from Aug, 2010,
3. installed the Aug, 2010 update, and my problems seem to have been fixed.
