Blocking the work center

Dears
Is it possible to block the work center from Quality department for creating any more production order because of quality issue
Like what we are blocking the vendor by using quality info record

In usge decision we have quality score is updating when ever we select respective UD code

    1. You can using the user exit or BADI to control this.

    the above are the user exits that are available fro the CO11N tcode.
    2. we have to take a help of the abaper to write coding fort his.
    3. The user exit should be called for the
    Work Center : YYYYY
    then check the relevant Work Center Once is used in open Maintainence Order and if it has a entry if then give a error message else allow the CO11N to perform.

  • Block production work center during maintenance order

    Dear Experts,
    iam trying to do the integration between PM and PP, I want to block the production work center from any production order  when there is any maintenance order opened for a certain equipment which is inside this  work center ,
    till now i did the following:
    1) the production work center is now inside the equipment location tab
    2) when i open any maintenance order i put system condition as zero
    now what i only achieved ,
    - in transaction CM25 the capacity is black for the period of the maintenance order
    BUT the work center is not blocked and any production order can be created without any error

    Hi,
    Till time you have performed right things to integrate PP-PM & system is also responding according to setting.
    Showing block capicity in CM25 against the Maintenance Order.
    If you want to block production order as well, you need to do one more setting.
    go to t- code OIOI, selection Production order types (those you want to block) & in capacity Availabilty choose Collect conversion as 3 : No creation if there is insufficiant caacity.

    How can i block a work center capacity for capacity planning during Machine breakdown( via a Preventive maintenance order)?
    i believe it will reduce machine capacity, yet how can i view this, against the previous capacity? is there a possible report or can it be shown through a transaction?

    In capacity header details screen not exactly as "can be used for capacity evaluation " but
    "relevent to finite sceduling"
    "can be used for several operations"
    "long term planning"
    these all indicators you can deflag this and check the results ,it may helpful to you.

  • All default routing value has to be changed, while changed the work center in production order

    Dear friends,
    our client they want to change the work center in production order.according to production version work center also they are changed.so while change the WC,all the default value has be changed as per routing what we maintained in routing.At present we have to enter the manually change the W.C as well as set up time and operation time enter manually.Any other option to do the automatically capture value from routing while change in Work center in production order.pl help me on this.

    Thanks for reply. I am maintained in diff value  maintained routing , Ex :First routing i have  work center 'X' value maintained as a setup time in 15 Min's and operation time 10 Min's
    second work center 'Y' I have maintained as set up time 10 Min's and operation time 30 Min's,
    Now I want to change the work center in production order as a 'Y' so whatever value maintained in routing , it has to be changed automatically (10 min's and 30 Min's), but system will not change only old value only picked (15Min's AND 10 Min's).
    Now I think you get to know what the client requirement, kindly do the need full.

  • Select the work center in sales order

    Hello gurus,
    When I create a saler order, the system create automatically a service order with the corresponding data which are reported in transaction OISD for the service material. The key of this table only permits a work center for one material service and plant. And it is impossible to add more work centers for the same service material and plant.
    So I need to be able to choose the work center when I generate the sales order. How can I get it?

  • IW41: automatic update of activity type when changing the work center?

    Hello colleagues,
    when doing a time confirmation with IW41, we have following problem:
    In the PM order the operations are assigned to a neutral executing work center, as it not known which individual technician is completing the operation later on.
    Now when the individual technician is entering the time confirmation with IW41, system is proposing the work center indicated in the operation from the PM order, then technician is overwriting the work center proposal with his own individual work center ID (and pressing Enter), but the activity type is not getting updated automatically. So the technician must jump to field "activity type" and choose the correct activity type.
    Is there any solution (hopefully with user exits!) to have the field "activity type" automatically updated with the one indicated in the work center, which was entered manually?

    Hi Maheswaran,
    yes, as usual all PM work centers have only 1 activity type assigned in the costing tab.
    We also checked the settings of the activity type (KL03), but we just found one difference: the price indicator was set on 3 "Determined manually" - we've changed to 1 "Plan price, automatically based on activity" (..same setting as for the act. type of the work center with working update of act.type).
    We tested already all possible constellations and scenarios, but we have not found any good reason for the behaviour.

    Hi,
    Once you post actual values or any planning exists on this cost center you cant delete.
    To ristrict posting to cost you have two options.
    1.You can change validity period.
      change  end from 12/31/9999 to what ever date you want to stop posting(e.g. as of today 10/23/08)
    2. lock all postings to cost center on Control data tab in KS02.

  • Regarding Size of the iview in the work center

    Hi
    I created a work center in EP 6.0 having 5 iviews as views in the work center. When i click the view name in the left side of the work center, it is showing the view in the content Area in the right side.
    But the area is limited. It is showing tray size scrollable iview.
    Even I changed the properties of iview.
    Fixed Height
    Type of Page
    Max height
    Min Height
    It is showing "Not equal to " Icon with a message"
    Property Object is defined locally but not inherited in the source object". Moreover the properties is not reflecting in the work center

    Hi Sreekar,
    Have you put the iViews onto pages first and then added the pages to the workset?  That the way that I go about it.
    Try this... Change the Height Type to Automatic.
    Also, what kind of iViews are on the page?  Are they for ESS or MSS or just custom written?  Do they interact with a Team Viewer?  The Isolation Method of the iViews has to be the same if they are all on the same page.  Isolation Method is important if you are interacting with a Team Viewer.  They must all be set to URL.  The default when creating an iView from a custom par file is Embedded.
    The Not Equals To icon in the iView properties just means that it is not the original setting and has been changed by some user.
    So, short of the long, place your iView on a page and the page into the workset.
    Does this help or maybe you can tell me what you mean by Work Center.

  • Could not found any usage key in the work center WC001(Use T-CODE CR02)?

    my question:
    (1) I have created one Work Center WC001 and one Plant HJW1.
    (2) I have created one Routing with T-CODE CA01.
    (3) Then I use T-CODE CA02 to change this Routing.
    (4) When I enter the Head details screen,I click the Operations button to enter the Operations Overview screen.
    (5) In the Operations Overview screen list,I input the Work Center WC001 and the Plant HJW1 at the first line and press enter.Then the sap raise error message like below.
    (6) The question was: I could not found any usage key in the work center WC001(Use T-CODE CR02)! Could any one tell me the answer or give me some advice to resolve the problem?Thank you so much.

    Diagnosis
    You want to allocate the work center WC001 to a task list of the type N . However this work center is not intended to be used in a task list of the type N.
    Procedure
    The usage of a work center in task lists is restricted via the usage key. You define this key in work center customizing and allocate to it those task list types in which a work center with this usage key can be used.
    Proceed as follows:
    Check the usage key for the work center WC001 in work center maintenance.
    If necessary change the usage key in the work center or change the allocation of task list types to the usage key in customizing or
    allocate to the task list a work center which is valid for use in a task list of the type N.

    Hi
    1) Check what task list usage key you entered for the work center in the basic data . If it is 009 then the work center can be used in all task list type.
    2) If you have defined and used any other usage key , ensure that  for this key , the routing type N is allowed in OP45.

    In order to block the use of a workcenter, it is recommended to go to cr02 and change u2018usageu2019 field to u2018000u2019 All task list types (see previous topic To block the use of a specific workcenter)
    When changing usage to 000, an error message appears : u201CThe work center is already being used, update task listsu201D. How could it be fixed? thanks

    If you don't want that operation , Then
    Go to CA80- work center where used list
    find out the routing, and delete the respective operation in routing.
    Or
    If you don't want the delete the operation, Then
    In workcenter , CR02 Go to Extras-->status set lock
    While creating a new production order, system won't copy the locked workcenter

  • Service desk: Hide links (queries) in the work center view

    Hi,
    we are using the service desk towards our customers.
    Basically we have to sets of roles: one for consultants (ourselves) and one for our customers.
    Our customers are entering the service desk through a web-interface.
    If the consultants enters the web-interface, they can see reports and queries to the left, and they can open and edit tickets.
    If the customers enters the web-interface, they cannot see queries and reports in the left navigation bar, and they can not open and edit tickets.
    Now we need a third possibility:
    A customer need to open and edit tickets, but they should not be allowed to define (or even execute) queries.
    Because when they can define queries, they get access to see all other customers tickets. And that is not good.
    How to obtain this?

    Based on your comments, I take it that you may not implementing a formal first level support who can perform these tasks as recommended by solman standard. If you are, your customer can request reassignment using their reply option, and the support tech performs the task. You can implement some sort of email notification process to inform the new BP.
    Alternatively, I can suggest two modifications if you have a developer at your disposal:
    1) in your solution manager system, clone the incident create web dynpro to ensure population of the required fields to the customer and to suit your requirement. Here you can also remove the SU15 text id checks.
    2) in your satellite system, modify the function group which triggers the create incident process and have it launch the cloned web dynpro above.
    My apologies, I don't have access to a solman system immediately to give you the exact object names for the above suggestions.

  • Blocking Work Center

    Hello Everybody......
    Is there any way to block the work center through creation of notification instead of Maintenance Order.
    My Client wants that as & when the notification for breakdown is being created by production, immediately the work center should get blocked immediately for production scheduling.
    The production planning team being different from production team...may reschedule the order in the time frame which is between creation of Notification & Order. & As during this time maintenance order is not there, so how can the PP get intimated that machine is under breakdown though maintenance has not yet created any maintenance order.

                   for your kind information there is an integration between PP and PM  in location tab of notification the workcenter is the pp workcenter and organization tab workcenter is PM workcenter. In the maintenance order header system condition is there it shows whethe the system is in operation or not. Through this integration whenever production people are going to raise an production order against the same equipment which is been under maintenance by maintenance people system will throw a message that the equipment is already maintained by maintenance.

  • How do I create a new Work Center for the transaction launcher and links

    The requirement here is for me to find out if I can create a new Work Center that will contain up to 6 assignment blocks and each block having either links to websites and BW reports, or triggers to R/3 applications via the transaction launcher.
    Can I do this purely through customising or do I need to create a new view using BSPs? If I can do it through customising please could I have a few pointers to what component I would need to use/copy?

    Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
    Just so I understand, if I want to show a work center I need to link it to a component / view? I think this was the original query - do I need a developer to create the view that contains the 6 blocks with their links to reports, transactions and websites? I think when I talk about blocks I mean 1 viewset containing 6 views. There is no SAP standard view that would suit my requirements is there? Even if the work center had 8 views, I can always hide the two views in configuration.
    After the developer has created the view, I then reference that component in the target Id in the define logical links section of my work center.
    If my understanding is right, then it follows that it is not possible to create a user specific work center without some development.
    Is this correct?
