Blog Template Comes Over As Image, Need It To Be Text...Arrghh!

Hello,
For the purpose of having content and to be more optimized by search engines I want my blogs to be content/html, not converted to an image. I am utilizing the "show text indicator", which tells me it is not going to be converted and then I go into my blog.html file and it comes over as images, not my text (content). I have dropped all shadow boxes and am using arial font. I also host outside of apple because I found it easier to do the redirects and meta tags, but that is just me Im sure. I do not know if this would make a difference, I do not think so but trying to give all the facts. Is this just the way it is or is there a fix? Any and all help appreciated, thx.

Need Help positioning a graphic over an image.

Trying to position an arched graphic over an image in the header of this site. The photoshop image provided shows the three separate components. 1. The white content is one image that houses the main header images and the other three images lower on the page. In CSS it is the #inner-content. 2. #main-content is the teal color 3. The arch image, which sits inside #arch-container. The CSS is shown here, but when it is displayed in a browser...the #inner-content sits below the arch image instead of up underneath it. I have tried many variations within the CSS and can't find the solution. Help!

Photosmart and Photo imaging had on old printer did not come over on new computer.

Hi, I had a HP photosmart poto imaging on my old computer but it did not come over onto my new computer. I really like this program because when I was copying home pictures for my family it allowed me to choose size of film, size of image and several at one time. I have tried to find something compatible and so far no luck. I tried copying it from old to new and that didn't work. I am hoping that there is a new program with the same abilities. Print shop and Publisher does not do what I want even though Stables said it would. These programs allows me to bring it over to Works but when I do that and I want to ajust size of image for several or to reduce size of a larger picture it can become distorted.Any suggestions about getting a new software program. I think they program originally came over when I had a camera and was transfering the images from it.so help

Red x boxes in drop-down: no images needed

On one page in IE when someone hovers over a drop down link,
two red x's show as if an image is missing. There are no images;
it's a js drop menu generated from Fireworks and all other nav
links work fine. The link in question is the one for Exhibitor

Photoshop CC: Have a template that I moved image into. Image is too small. How do I resize the image while in the template? Or must I go to original image file and resize there again and again until I get the right fit?

I have a template that I am able to plug different pictures into at different times. The problem is that when I plug an image into that template, I find that the image is either too big or too small. Is there a way to plug the image into the template and resize the image (and not the template itself) OR will I have to go to the file with the original image and resize it there and then try to plug it in to the template to see if it fits------and if it does not fit, go back to the original file with the image and resize it again and see if that fits---and so on and so on...........? I have tried the" image size" option but it's hit or miss------mostly miss!

Read up on Smart Objects. It looks like you have no idea as to how to create and use them.
Jut create a Smart Object from the layer containing whatever it image it is that you are "plugging into your template". But you do need to learn the application at its most basic levels.
Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve. You cannot learn Photoshop in a forum, one question at a time.

Any blog templates safe in non-Safari browsers? Blog Summary Widget?

I've tried "Doodle" and "Darkroom" and in both cases, the blog summary page (first page) does not work in both Internet Explorer (Mac) and Firefox (Mac). In both, the Blog Summary Widget does not work. The pictures and text are missing and is replaced with text that says "Blog Summary Widget."
For the test, I did nothing to change or edit the templates. I just published them them as is. They look great in Safari, but no go in Firefox 1.0.2 and IE 5.2.3. I know these are probably not the most current versions of either, but I can guarantee that they're more recent than what my grandma has and she's more typical of my web audience I'm trying to do a family blog. I figured iWeb has cooler templates than Blogger.com and it would be easy since it's iLife. Too bad the blog page probably won't work on most computers' browsers. I don't have a Windows machine to test it on, but I'm guessing that they will be even more unforgiving. Is anyone else having better luck?
The only other factor is that I'm not using a .Mac account. I can't imagine that this could be the issue, but if it is, then that is really, really evil. It's bad enough that Apple punishes you for not having a .Mac account by making you FTP your entire site every time you make a change instead of incrementally (this is a separate thread topic).

I've settled on a modified Modern weblog template (http://www.kilayko.com) and it has worked well in the following browser/OS combinations:
Camino 1.5/Mac OS X
Safari 2/Mac OS X
Mobile Safari/iPhone
IE 6 and 7/Windows XP
Firefox 2/Windows XP
The only combination that seems to give me (a little) trouble is:
Opera/Wii
It seems to ignore the thumbnail images on both the main weblog and archive pages but the area is still clickable.
I know that these are somewhat newer versions than what you are targeting but it may point to a limitation in the JavaScript implementations in the older browser versions. It appears that many of the template elements make use of JavaScript for functionality.
I should note that I am also using .Mac - although I don't think that should make a difference for the rendering.

Adding a Map link over an image with a Z Index setting

I have to add a map invisible link to a spot over an image on a page. If I look in the css file it is as follows

The map must go over the image that covers this area. When I add the map I do not see the link. I would think this has to do with the Z Index how can I get the map to be on the top level without changing the Z Index or can I ?

the image on the bottom right of the Clarence major needs to have a hotspot on top of that so when clicked it links back to the index. I will not need it on this page but if you click thru the links you will see what I mean.

Problems with blog template

I'm having two problems with the blog template. First, I wanted to add some images to a blog entry in addition to the main photo at the top of the page. I had wanted these to appear below the main text box. So I selected several pictures in iPhoto and dragged them over to the current blog entry. What I got was a new photo page being created and a small image placed on my blog page that was a link to the newly created photo page that contains a thumbnail image of one of the photos on the photo page. Is there no way to simply insert additional images into a blog page? Even if I can't insert the images into my page, there is a problem with the location of that thumbnail image. It somehow got located near the bottom of the page in between the "made on a Mac" logo and the Next link. I can't seem to select it to move it to a different location. I tried right-clicking, option-clicking and clicking with every other modifier key, as well as ordinary clicking, but either nothing happens or iWeb takes me to the new photo page. How can I manipulate this thumbnail object? Finally, out of frustration about being unable to manipulate the thumbnail away from the Next/Previous links, I decided to try to move them. I started with the "Made on a Mac" logo, selected it and then pressed the down arrow. What I had expected was that my page size would increase as I moved the logo down the page. Instead, I seem to have moved the logo down so far that it has disapeared. How do I get it back? What am I doing wrong here?

I have been corresponding with the company in Lithuania for a few days and we have tried everything we could think of to solve the glitch. I am very much aware of the fact that it is a custom theme, in fact I have further customised it.
The website in question is a private one. In my home country, we are legally required to post our address on the page. I would not want to braodcast that across the Apple community, if I can help it, so that is not an option. Sorry.
I would really appreciate if someone who uses GraphicNodes templates could help me out. Thank you

Gentlefolk;
Any suggestions for finding a blog template?
What I am looking for is pretty simple, your basic text display for the blogged content, and the ability to post responses.
The design part is no problem, but hooking into a DB would be a little trickier, and that is what I hope would be automated. Or, is there a way around this?
I am not wedded to any technology here, but it will reside within a Learning Management System that is SCORM-compliant (learn.com, learncenter, if that assists in the responses.)
Don't need tracking functionality.

Thanks for the tip! That drew me into the HELP menu and there I found that if you want to insert images that "float" with the change in text, you need to select push the Command key when you select them. Then you import them into the body of the text where the cursor is. It's a little cumbersome to then move the image around, but it does work.

Links over an Image

Good Morning!
I'm fairly new to Dreamweaver and I'm trying to cut through the fog and get a project completed.
I am working on an email blast for my company and I need several links over top of the image that I designed in Illustrator and Photoshop. (I've attached graphic)
I need the links in the purple squares.
I know how to use Image Maps and at first I used them and everything worked perfectly!
But since this is an email blast I was informed by our email marketing company that several email providers do not support Image Maps.
Is there a work around?

This issue is going on for a while and I have tried the usual means to fix it, like restarting, updating drivers, uninstalling gfxCardStatus completely...
As you can see on the video, anytime I have an image in motion - be it a video or even when scrolling down a website - a blue rectangle appears over the image or video. When I pause it returns to normal.
This is absolutelly unacceptable. I work with video editing and this has neutralized my ability to color grade anything, unless of course if I want to really hate myself on the process.
I'd be trully grateful if anyone could help me out.
My system is a Macbook Pro Retina 15" - Mid 2012
Graphics Card is a GTX 650M (discrete)

I am running Photoshop CC 2014 on Windows 8.1 with an AMD quad core processor and AMD E1-2100 APU with AMD Radeon HD 8210 Graphics Card. I have installed the latest driver version 13.152.0.0. When I activate puppet warp, the mesh appears over the image and I can place the first pin. However, when I go to add the second pin, Photoshop crashes. I have tried with on a new, blank file, with just a few lines on it, but, as soon as I place the first pin, the image disappears, and then, as soon as I click anywhere else in the image, Photoshop crashes. I have followed all the online advice about settings under the Preferences/Performance interface, but nothing fixes the problem. Can anyone please help?

iTunes will need to be set up on your computer however you can set up a new Apple ID to use for your iPhone. Really all you need to do is Assign a new Apple ID to your iCloud account.
Follow the link to create a new Apple ID: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
After you do that, on the device you want to assign a new iCloud account go: Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and then sign in with the new Apple ID.
NOTE: This does not effect iTunes, all of your devices can continue to use one shared iTunes account under your original Apple ID for downloading apps and backups. This simply gives iCloud a place to sync the individual devices information and will stop iCloud form merging all the information, such as contacts, with all of your devices.
