Hello all you brainy bods
I have a personal website - www.stevenadams.co.uk - that I use to blog and more. I like to send out html emails as newsletters to steer people to this website, and it's here i'm having problems.
if you added /srahome/newsletter.html on the end of my link, you can see the html page that I use. As I use Mail, I just visit this page and use 'File/Mail contents of this Page' to send the page as an email. It looks fine in the email window before I send, however once I check my Sent Items (or view in Mail on another Mac) the typesetting is screwy!
I have screen shots of what I mean... but I'm not sure how to include them in this post...... in essence, it takes my bullet points and squashes them up so the they are only 4 words across, making the newsletter go on for reams of screens!
Help gratefully received...

File > Mail Contents of Page is never guaranteed to result in various email clients seeing exactly what you see with a browser. Have you checked what recipients using Windows or webmail are seeing? In any case I think the only fix is try modifying your layout (e.g. not use bullet points) until you get what you want at the other end.

I am customizing the requisition approval workflow in p2p cycle.
We have to send out notifications and emails to all people in the approval heirarchy , who have already approved the req if some body higher up in the chain rejects it.
right now oracle only send email and notification to the requester.
ex -- If A requested it and next approver is B , who approves it , next is C, who approves it
but next person D rejects it
I want to send notification to C , B and A
not just A
please let me know how to do this.

Hi,
Has anyone sucessfully implemented email notification through Workflow in Portal Release 2?
I logged a TAR and support claim they cannot track down any documentation.

Not sure if you want a email or SAP mail. Can you clarify the above statement?
If you want to send a notification mail which needs to be displayed in UWL
Search for keyword SONIC in this forum and blogs section. You will get the solution
If you want to send a notification email to the email id of the user
You need to determine the email id of the user and use the sendmail step to send email (your SCOT settings need to be condigured by your BASIS team)

Malware Policy - Scan Email and Email Attachments
Hi there,
When creating a custom malware policy there is a setting under "Scan Settings" called "Scan Email and Email Attachments" and I have a number of questions regarding it.
Which email clients does this policy support?
Which email protocols does it support - POP3, IMAP, MAPI?
How and when does it scan the incoming email and attachments?
One of the reasons I ask is that we recently had a user hit with the Crypt Locker virus which went on to encrypt 40,000 files on network folders. The infection was encounter via a pishing email in Outlook 2013 and I would have thought MS EP would have caught
the payload when the link was clicked on or attachment was downloaded.

Based solely on this blog post -- http://blogs.technet.com/b/clientsecurity/archive/2010/03/20/scanning-email-archives.aspx -- I would conclude that it doesn't scan any traffic and thus the protocol doesn't matter; it is an archive scanner and thus only
scans e-mails once they are written or committed to disk.
The assumption that client based anti-malware products make is that the e-mail server is itself already protected at the gateway level.
Even so though, if this was phishing attack, there's nothing malicious about the e-mail itself so the setting doesn't really apply as it was the content downloaded from the malicious site that the user unwittingly accessed that caused the damage. Outlook
is generally good at at recognizing spoofed URLs used in phishing attacks though.
So, going back to my original statement, you should contact Microsoft CSS to see where the gap was.

Dynamic CRM 2013 Online how to execute Report, generate PDF and email
Dear All,
I am using Dynamic CRM 2013 online. For quote, I have workflow and Dialogue processes for review process. On approval, I want the system to generate a PDF of quote report, attach the PDF and email it to the Customer.
Better I would like, When approver, clicks on the approve button, the system should auto generate a PDF of quote report, attach the PDF and email it to the Customer, without any further input from the user. If its not possible, I may have to put button on
quote form.
I am using the attached code, but facing various issues.
1. Under prepare the SOAP Message coding part, I am not sure what should be the below URL for CRM 2013 Online?

Is that possible Facebook Notifications and email notifications on sleeping screen nokia 808 like it had on N9..
On my 808 it shows only msgs and miscalls....any fix??
Thanksnot possible unless the app supports that behaviour. but email notifications and on notification lights has been broken on Symbian for a while, and as Symbian is in maintenance mode, is unlikely to see a fix, possibly ever.

I am unable to find where to change my iTunes Store username and email address. There's nowhere on this site to be able to change it. Can I only change it through iTunes?
You can edit your Apple ID(which is your iTunes Store account name) via Apple's My Apple ID website https://appleid.apple.com/com by following these steps:
1.) Click "Manage your account" on the right hand side of the page.
2.) Click edit next to your Apple ID and Primary Email Address.
3.) Edit your account name to the desired email address.
4.) Click Save Changes.

How do I change password and email address?
I cannot change my password and email address because I am based in the UK and not in the US. When I try to make a change and save it, it says I have made a mistake on the fields marked red and asks me to complete the parts in red including: the state I live in and because I am not in a state it doesn't allow me to change my details. It also has a problem with my country's telephone code. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

When I execute a report in background, I get spool. I need to convert the spool to xls format and email through attachment to the user.The xls file should not be saved on local system.
If I use the Spool Recepient tab in SM37 it mails the spool list as .txt file to the mail receipient. But I need to send it as an .xls file.
Can any one help me on thisDid you get the solution? i have the same problem.
