Bloody forehead...

Hello all -
I've been trying to get Adobe Central Output Server 5.5 to print a document for a couple weeks now. I can't get it to work so have been banging my head on my desk, hence the bloody forehead reference. We have an old version of JetForms that's currently be used, but I'm trying to get Central 5.5 implemented and not having much luck. Nobody at my work knows how to help me (except maybe provide a cushion on my desk to soften the blow)
Adobe Output Server resides on our iSeries. I've created the .mdf file on my laptop via Output Designer. I've also created the .tdf file on my laptop and have put both of those in the IFS. When I run the transformation from VTE on my laptop, it works great however when I try the iSeries job through Central ....nothing. I'm getting an error that states, "jfserver: [314] Agent exit message: [6]Error opening .MDF file '..etc/exprint/forms/PICKMK.mdf".
I have looked through the forum and found a couple references to this, but still cannot figure it out.
Can anyone give me some pointers on what I need to be looking at? Changing?

Thank You for your reponse. Unfortunately I don't know how to do this. I'm working on the AS/400 and within the Central main menus, I don't see any option that would allow me to do this.

It is the same in the latest version 7.0.2. You can shut off the saving and auto filling of passwords by clicking in the menu bar at the top Safari > Preferences and then select Autofill and uncheck the passwords box. Also check the next pane as well.

It sounds like you are talking about the cloning tool?
Tool looks like this:
Then when selected you can change the size of the brush and using Alt (windows) and Command (Mac) to select your region you want to copy then start to create you cloned image.

Im trying to make a scary video with a scary intro title that goes from peaceful relaxing white to SCARY RED!!!! (the text says something in white, and then in red "you've been warned!") I've used premier for the last two weeks but still got so much, so, very much to learn. how can this be accomplished? it must be pretty easy and obvious for you but it isnt for me. if possible besides the change in text color from white to red Id also like to make it bloody, with you know, the letters with those bloody traces/drops.

Your best bet to recreate something like that is to find a scary font on http://www.1001freefonts.com/ or sites like it.
Check under Horror fonts and look at "Blood Gutter 2000" or maybe "Liquidism".
Then just type the text into the Premiere Pro titler windows and make sure that the fill color is red with no strokes. You might want to darken it more than 255,0,0 since that might be good for spurting blood, but dripping blood is usually darker. And I can't believe I even typed that just now.
If you are talented, you can start with that font in Photoshop and then modify it by adding layers with specular highlights.
Edit: Oh, to change color just put the white one on top of the red one and dissolve between the two. Perhaps with a blur in and out to deal with the different shapes of the fonts.

AIR give you classes to detect an on-line or off-line status, it's in
this way for the sake of flexibility for instance what happens if you

Why do Apple make it so hard to upgrade some programs? They could make the follow through instructions a lot clearer.
Now I have it open- it works and..................... it does look pretty neat.

Adobe Download Assistant Won't Bloody Work!!!

No matter what I do -- I even followed all the steps in solution 1, excluding the mac one, numerous of times, but none would work!! It's so frustrating!! It would always give me the same thing over and over again: "Error communicating with Adobe.com (Error 101). Check your network connection, and restart Adobe Download Assitant." Bloody thing won't work even if everything is perfectly fine!! TT____TT Please help me!

Why can't the bloody window get the right size?

I have a huge problem with graphical components... and I doubt that I'm alone with it. This concerns how to get the bloody windows to be laid out with the correct size. Java never wants to have the window sized as I set it. It's always different, and the size changes when I change platform. If I set the size for a JFrame in a Windows-environment, and then run the program on a Solaris environment, the window has a completely different size. Even when I switch from the CDE desktop to KDE or Gnome, every new environment presents a new way of laying out my application's windows, with different sizes.
Now, I have tried to get rid of the problem through various tricks... obviously the setBounds(x,x,x,x) method is a complete fake... that's when most problems occur. So I tried with the pack() method together with setting the preferred size of my components. That works better, but it's not even near to make me satisfied. The windows don't change dramatically with platform change, but a few pixels here and there.
It drives me crazy! I shouldn't be this hard to set the size of a normal bloody window! I can't believe that I still haven't figured out a failproof way of sizing my windows.. (I'm using the null layout, so I need to have exactly the correct size at all times)

it's as simple as this. I want the space used to lay out components to be the same on all platforms.
I could just as well explain what I mean with "the space used to lay out components" too. if you set a Frame or JFrame to "undecorated", the only thing showing is that space... simple enough. but with frame decorations, such as title bar, window borders (used to resize windows)... it's not as simple, because these decorations differ on all platforms. even between windows-versions... windows XP has a far larger title-bar than windows 2000 (and earlier windows).
so what I need to do is to make my program to lay out the window, so that the area used to lay out components is the samt, independent of the decorations used on the particular system you're working with.
I think it should be clear enough now...
but I also have to tell you that I feel I'm as close to a solution as one could possibly be. because I took a peek in the bugs database and saw that there is a bug concerning the window size and position on KDE under linux, which is the platform I'm testing this on (apart from windows 2000/XP) so I might have solved the problem, just that java itself is buggy :)
I don't know, but I'm going to test it on different environments in Solaris this week... CDE, GNOME, KDE... such.
I used the setSize() method together with getInsets() to get the sizes of the decorations... but that method has to be called for after the JFrame is set visible ( show() ) so I have to resize the window after it is set visible and then hide() and show() it again... strange... but it might work now.

Nah... there simply is not iOS 6 Wi-Fi problem with the 4S. I have not experienced any issues and neither has anyone else I know with iPhones.
User's like yourself really should drop the attitude and try some basic troubleshooting.

They are designed for coins... is this your first time changing the battery? Make sure you are twisting in the right direction and make sure you are pushing down on it and applying pressure at the same time you turn.

error when I use my load charge test with about 1500 clients :
weblogic.rjvm.PeerGoneException: no message was received for '240'
seconds
It's normal my test takes more than 240 seconds, so WHERE do we change
this bloody default value ?
I found nothing on newsgroups but changing the
DGCIdlePeriodsUntilTimeout value in the weblogic.properties (which
doesn't exist (!), but I found this value and changed it in the
CONFIG.XML, but I get the same error).
Where is defined this value, how can I change it ?

by the absence of heartbeats between client and server. Even if your
test takes longer than 240 seconds the heartbeats should still be
happening. Its possible also that this is down to network contention
