Bloquear el Menu de Impresora

Buenos días soy Angel Rios de Puerto Rico y técnico de Sistemas de Informacion. En mi lugar de trabajo tenemos varias impresoras HPLJ 4250. Necesito saber como bloquear el menu para que los usuarios no puedan cambiar la configuración de estos.

Insistente ventanita Imprimir a un archivo

Ayuda por favor.
Cada que le doi imprimir aun archivo pdf me sale insistentemente una ventania que dice
IMPRIMIR AUN ARCHIVO y abajo de eso dice
NOMBRE DE ARCHIVO DE SALIDA ACEPTAR boton
nose en que momento hize algo mal,por que estava imprimiendo y de repente empieza a salir esta ventanita.
es una lastima no poder subir fotos para mostrar estas ventanitas
igualmente alli en IMPRESORAS Y FAXES el icono de la impresora ahora aparece sobre puesto un flopy o disket,no recuerdo haber visto esa imagen de disket arriba del icono de la impresora que se crea al abrir un puerto de impersora y aparece en INICIO-IMPRESORAS Y FAXES.
de momento no hay ningun archivo agregado para imprimir.
no puedo pasar de esta ventanita no me deja imprimir aunque le pongo cualquier nombre hace como si estuviera cargando y luego se cierra el programa de impresion abajo en la barra de tareas.

Hola, Janeneth. Seguramente tendrás tu impresora instalada en FILE, lo cual hace que genere un mensaje de impresión y guardarlo en un archivo. Solución: ve al Panel de control o menu Inicio/impresoras, selecciona la impresora, con el boton derecho elige "Propiedades". En la pestaña "Puertos" elige el que corresponde, por ejemplo, LPT1 si es puerto paralelo, USB001 si es usb, etc.

Como le puedo hacer para bloquear en el menu el área de modulos?. quisiera que no entraran a todo.

Puedes utilizar autorizaciones y así bloquear el acceso a determinados usuarios.

SAP e Impresora Epson 880+

Hola a todos, estamos configurando un formato de factura preimpresa, cuando lo mandamos a la impresora Epson 880+ las letras salen muy grandes, queremos que sean mas pequeñas, ya intentamos moverle a la configuracion de la impresora pero en cuanto mandamos a imprimir algo regresa a su configuracion original.... de letras enorme, ¿Alguna sugerencia?

En el menu archivo>diseño de pagina>boton impresora, debes elegir la impresora epson 880
luego en el layout de documento que estas imprimiendo debes cambiar el formato de todos los campos (tipo de font) a un font que se llama "draft 17" o "draft 20", asi se soluciona el problema.
las otras ltras son graficas y se imprime com graficas, con este cambio ahorraras tiempo de imrpesion.

If all the items do not appear, consider resetting Bridge Preferences.
Close Bridge, hold down Command-Option-Shift (PC: Control-Alt-Shift) and then launch Bridge again. A dialog will appear asking what you want to do. Turn on the Reset Preferences checkbox and click OK. Now when Bridge appears, the preferences are factory-fresh.

Problem with Adobe BRIDGE getting Photoshop/Image Processor menu

When I open my drop-down or fly-out menu under TOOLS in Bridge (CS3 version), the entire portion of the menu which is supposed to appear next underneath the Cache line option is missing (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Start Meeting..., Photoshop services).
What gives?
I'm trying to get to Image Processor under the Photoshop menu option (which is supposed to appear in the Tools drop-down menu).
Please tell me what's wrong. Thanks in advance.

Application stuck under menu toolbar

An application I'm running (Filezilla FTP client) is stuck under the mac menu toolbar. I can't grab the toolbar of the application to move it or access what I need to access. I've researched this issue and other people have had the same problem, but none of their solutions have worked for me. I've tried changing the resolution of my screen, disconnecting my dual monitor, "zoom" is not available in the program I'm working with, and I've tried a multitude of expose/spaces/random key commands to no avail. Any other ideas?

I can't see from your screenshot if there available screen space around the window. You could try dragging the window down from one of the bottom edge - making it smaller first if necessary (when the cursor is near the edge it has double arrow that indicates changing the window size), then make sure that your mouse is enough inside the window that the cursor is a normal one-arrow and drag it down. Repeat if necessary until the title bar reappears.

Blackberry 8310 not showing reply or send in sms text options menu

I have a blackberry 8310. iam able to recieve sms text messages but when i click to on options, there is no "reply" option in the menu for me to be able to reply to the text. The chip works fine in other phones so that tells me something in the phone is not set right. There is no option for me to even compose and fresh sms text message. Please help?

Here ya' go:
1. Get a good backup of your device: BB device backup (I keep all my backups in a separate folder created for that purpose so they are always in one place and easy to find.)
2. Download the most recent version of device software for your carrier: Downloading BB device software
3. Reinstall the device software: Clean reload of device software
4. Pull the battery out with the device ON. Wait about a minute and put the battery back in. Let the BB completely restart.
5. Once you have the device OS successfully installed you will then need to reinstall any 3rd party apps you currently have on your device: Install applications using the app loader tool
6. Complete another battery pull routine after each 3rd party app installation to reclaim memory and refresh your BB.

Using a custom menu button on the slide to open and close TOC in Captivate 7

I have a custom menu button. When the user clicks I want to show TOC, ( I see there is a state to show TOC) but when the user clicks the same menu button again on that slide how can I hide the TOC. ie toggle between hide and show.

Spry menu bar woes (add submenu levels and edit width)

So i need some spry menu bar help. Apparently as a graphic designer i'm also expected to webdesign, and while i can solve most problems with a good googling, i seem to be at my wit's end fo this one. So the site i'm doing has a header ith a horizontal spry pop-up menubar (in Dreamweaver CS4). But some problems arise: when i manually add another submenu level, they don't show up in chrome or FF, they do werk perfectly in IE6. I just add the following code to the codepage:

the PMX never pops open in FF an chrome.. Should i be adding anything else to another part of the code? i'd like my submenu text to have a slight indent? WHat part of the CSS style should i change to just have the text scoot over a bit without it really affecting the box layout? Use web template to open a report from a menu

Hi all,
I have created one web template where I have a role menu that shows all reports that are available to the user. When the user clicks on one of these reports, the report displays in a new window. So far everything is working fine.
But, I have also created another web template and I want the report that is displayed in a new window to use this template. How do I do this? I have been looking at the settings for the Role menu, but can't find anywhere to put the template name...
Anyone have any ideas?

Hello,
yes you can use the publish function, but only to add new entries.
In Transaction pfcg (not in WAD or BEx) in SAP GUI and then select your role at the tab "Menu" you can add/remove/maintain/organize your menu.
just click on a menu entry and take sth.like edit.
Then you will see a link if you didn#t find the string &template_id= the system will take the standard template (Tranaction spro), and you can easily add or change this parameter.

How do I add the Displays icon to the Menu Bar?

In prior OS on my iMac, I was able to add the Display icon to the Menu Bar, making it a quick fix to adjust the resolution. That option no longer appears in the Display section of System Preferences. I am using multiple displays. Could that make any difference? Any suggestions?
